I started TIGERS because I wanted to understand what makes a group of people truly work well together. As a manager, I was discouraged by how much emphasis was placed on individual achievement while the potential of people collaborating with purpose was ignored. I’ve always believed that employees aren’t costs to be controlled—they’re the real stakeholders in an organization’s success. After all, we spend more of our waking hours at work than with our families, and that time should be meaningful. Through decades of research and 34 years of practice, I’ve proven there is a much better way. When trust, interdependence, genuineness, empathy, risk resolution and shared success guide how we work, teams achieve extraordinary results—and people end their days feeling engaged, valued, and proud of what they’ve built together.

After completing graduate-level research that validated the six principles of high-functioning teams, Dianne Crampton launched TIGERS to help progressive leaders master group process through soft skills that drive innovation and minimize destructive conflict. Her early work focused on guiding companies through post-merger integration, cross-functional team development, and organizational change. Today, she certifies HR leaders, consultants, and coaches in the use of TIGERS resources so they can deliver measurable culture improvements inside their own organizations.
