Show Host Vicki McLeod of Everyday Happiness
For more than two decades, she has worked with civic, health care, and education leaders and organizations designing and delivering transformational leadership development and change management strategies. She has held management positions in the arts, environmental and economic development sectors.
In the past two years she has trained and mentored more than 130 business owners province-wide in marketing, branding and how to consciously use marketing digital and social media strategies to increase positive impact and success.
She offers personal development workshops, coaching and retreats focused on mindfulness and personal responsibility. Her ongoing commitment is to lead from the heart and find ways to translate that across multiple opportunities.
While continuing to learn and evolve, Vicki is increasingly interested in mentorship and eldership as extensions of her coaching and consulting practice to use her experience to support individuals and organizations to be truly authentic and effective.
In 2013 she was shortlisted by Small Business BC as one of the Top 5 Online Marketers in the province and in 2014 was nominated as a Canadian Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by RBC Women of Influence, and as Business Leader of the Year in her home community of Maple Ridge. She also makes a wicked bolognese.
Vicki’s slogan is “Do what you love, love what you do. Online and off.” In her weekly radio show Everyday Happiness, Vicki focuses on the multiple dimensions that make for a balanced and happy life. These dimensions include business and career, home and environment, personal growth and spirituality, health and wellness, our relationships with ourselves and each other, and play and creativity. Guests will include subject matter experts in each of these dimensions, along with ordinary people on a transformational journey. Vicki offers practical wisdom for manifesting more happiness in our daily lives and rethinking our relationship with what we call ordinary.
When she’s not busy transforming the lives of businesses, organizations and individuals in Canada, Vicki can be found hiking in the Sonoran desert and writing and cooking at her home-away-from-home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
