With over 13 years of podcasting and 12+ years leading Self Discovery Wisdom, Sara Troy lives by the philosophy of soul authenticity. Guided by extraordinary voices from around the globe, she curates stories that uplift, inspire, and offer real solutions to life’s challenges. Through meaningful conversations, Self Discovery Wisdom invites you to reclaim your power and take charge of your own life journey.

Sara Troy launched The Art of Positive Living in 2001 and has spent over 24 years guiding others in personality self-identity and soul development, drawing from 50 years of accumulated wisdom. A spiritual counsellor by divine design, she sees the potential within each person and can map out a path toward their true purpose, though the journey must be walked by the individual. With a deep passion for helping others embrace their true selves, Sara explores the choices we make, our resilience, courage, and how we serve others without losing ourselves in the process.

April 2012 Sara made a personal discovery of self, one that would change her life direction forever. She was presented with an opportunity to host her own talk show on a small blog talk radio station called “Authentic You media” where she hosted her show live for 13 months before going out on her own with her own station, “PLV Radio” now called Self-Discovery Wisdom. Now in her 12 th year of hosting her own network as of June and 13 years of hosting in April, this woman has finally found her groove in life, and in just over 11+ years, she has interviewed more than 3800+ incredible inspirational guests from around the globe on her many show genres.

Wanting to reach out to even more listeners, and to bring greater numbers of inspirational people together and share their stories of life skills and inspiring stories of courage and strength, she decided to branch out and invite others to become our Orchard Mentors, who are sharing their services with those in need of them. Seeing all the accumulated wisdom of knowledge ready for clicking, Sara decided that these wonderful services need to have a home where people could hear from the Mentors themselves and choose who felt right for them, and receive financial help when needed to get back on their own feet with the Fund-Action program.

Sara has also presented a new opportunity to a different arena, being a Mentor or Practitioner, or Inspirer here on Self Discovery and our Orchard of Wisdom

Sara is a mother of 3 adult children and 2.5 Grandsons, 1 step-granddaughter, and is happy that my children have found their path in life.

Sara Troy, the visionary behind OrchardOfWisdom.org and the Self Discovery Wisdom Podcasts, was deeply moved by the heartfelt stories shared by her guests about the pressing challenges facing today’s children. Their insights sparked a powerful idea — to create a book that not only gives voice to these concerns but also serves as a catalyst for change.

From this inspiration, the Our Forgotten Children anthology was born — a heartfelt collection spotlighting the urgent needs of our youth. But Sara didn’t stop at storytelling. With purpose in her heart, she ensured that proceeds from the book support organizations handpicked by the authors, each one actively working to uplift and protect children’s lives.

This is just the beginning. With so many layers to explore, Sara envisions a three-part series a trilogy of truth, hope, and action dedicated to our children and the future they deserve.
