The words Good Vibrations remind me of the Beach Boys song and the line:” I love the colorful clothes she wears.” and colour is a beautiful place to start to raise your vibration. For all of us we have choices in our daily lives and the ones we make affect our vibration, as do the words we use. 2020 has been a very different year for the majority of people and the choices we made, including our words, reactions, actions, and so much more, have shaped our experiences. We all have downtime, but it is our choice to stay there or rise above it and feel happier in our own lives.

2020 has been a year of self discovery, we have discovered how resilient we are, how strong, how fearful, how diverse we can be. It has been a year of changes, for the worst and better. We have seen….

Hate,

Ignorance,

Fear,

Stupidity,

Arrogance,

Opulence,

and we have seen people

Rise up,

Step up,

Stand up for change.

We have seen

Compassion,

Dignity,

Inclussion,

Kindness,

Caringness and indeed LOVE.

We have seen who the real essential people are, the everyday workers who kept us fed, the front liners who risk their lives for us. The caretakers who clean up the mess, the supporters who never waver.

The Universe shook us up to wake us up so we can step up to change it up.

Now we are awake, we see that the old norm will not nor should not come back. Many sacrifices have been made, many victims, but from these ashes, we will rise, we will rise up stronger, as one human race, we will rise up in compassion and kindness towards each other, we will stand with one another in the healing, we will care for each other no matter our race, religion, sex, education, entitlement or creed, for we are one and as one we must walk into 2021 in unity and collaboration together.

Phyllis is an eldercare advisor, family care mediator and strategist, advocate, speech/language pathologist, speaker and trainer for the public and private sector and holds various certifications for dementia training. She’s worked with thousands of residents, families and health care workers in almost 50 nursing homes during a career that spans approximately 45 years. Phyllis has been an advocate and outspoken proponent for improved dignity, respect, quality of life and quality of care for our elder citizens who she says are essentially our future selves.

Ervin Laszlo spent his childhood in Budapest, Hungary. He was a celebrated child prodigy on the piano, with public appearances from the age of nine. Receiving a Grand Prize at the inter- national music competition in Geneva, he was allowed to leave Hungary and begin an international concert career, first in Europe and then in America. Laszlo received the Sorbonne’s highest degree, the Doctorat ès Lettres et Sciences Humaines in 1970. Shifting to the life of a scientist and humanist, he lectured at various U.S. Univer- sities including Yale and Princeton. Following his work on modeling the future evolution of world order at Princeton, he was asked to produce a report for the Club of Rome, of which he was a member. In the late 70s and early 80s, Laszlo ran global projects at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research at the request of the Secretary-General. In the 1990s his research led him to the discovery of the Akashic Field. The author, co-author or editor of 101 books that have appeared in a total of 23 languages, Ervin Laszlo has also written several hundred papers and articles in scientific journals and popular magazines. He is a member of numerous scientific bodies, including the Inter- national Academy of Science, the World Academy of Arts and Science, the International Academy of Philosophy of Science, and the International Medici Academy. He was elected member of the Hungarian Academy of Science in 2010. The recipient of various honors and awards, including Honorary Ph. D.s from the United States, Canada, Finland, and Hungary, Laszlo received the Goi Award, the Japan Peace Prize in 2001, the Assisi Mandir of Peace Prize in 2006, and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004 and 2005.
