Duane D. Stjernholm was born in La Junta, Colorado, a small town in the southeastern corner of the state where he learned Farming and Ranching from his Grandfathers. Raised in nearby Cheraw, an even smaller town, he graduated Co-Valedictorian from Cheraw High School and continued his education at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, earning a B.S. Degree in Psychology. Seeking to explore the world in search of adventure, he joined the Peace Corps and spent two years in the Philippines working in Rice Irrigation Water Management in the Province of Pampanga, and subsequently teaching Introductory Social Sciences at the University of the Philippines at Los Baños, Laguna.
Recovering from “Reverse Culture Shock” upon his return to Colorado, he attended the Iliff School of Theology in Denver earning a Master of Arts in Religion Degree, specializing in Religious Philosophy and Metaphysics. Soon after graduation from Iliff, he was fortunate to attend a live speech by the renowned World Citizen and Inventor, R. Buckmaster Fuller, who inspired him on his current 35 year Mission of changing the prevalent mindset of humanity from competition to cooperation and collaboration in order to Co-Create the Greatest and Highest Good for all Earth Citizens. To that end, he founded the unprecedented Member organization, the United Earth Ecclesia.
To support and further his Mission he has worked in a number of hospitality and service-oriented positions culminating in his last positions as Production Administrator at the nationwide non-profit, Learning Ally (formerly Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic). He has published two books and launched United Earth Ecclesia website, ExLo.org, dedicated to the Co-Creation of the Greatest and Highest Good for all Earth Citizens. (RETURNING SOON)
Returning to La Junta after a 40-year absence to be closer to relatives and out of the big city, Duane saw a need for Agricultural Hemp processing facilities in the Arkansas Valley and beyond for the rapidly expanding hemp industry in Colorado. He responded to the “find a need and fill it” adage, and as a result, he and his Co-Founder have established the Colorado Hemp Processing Cooperative (COHPC.ORG) to fill that need and Further the Mission of Cooperation, not competition.

19-38 Sara is of the UK despite her condition

Here I go again, a trip to see my sister and brother in the UK. I am very excited but also know there will be some challenges with my condition along the way.

I have Fibromyalgia and a few things that go with it, this has given me challenges when I have to put pressure on my body that it does not like, but that must not stop me from enjoying life or traveling.

I am NOT MY disease, I have a disease and yes it is my partner in life but it does not control my life completely. Instead, we have an agreement, if I overexert myself, I must allow time to regroup, if I know I am going to overexert myself, I must prepare for it with the right nutrition or and medication so it does not put so much strain on the body.

I will not deny myself the joy of traveling or doing things in life I love, but I will make sure that I am prepared for it and allow that time to heal afterward. We must not let our health challenges become dictators of our lives, the mind of matter along with the spirit, heart, and soul have just as much say and need to be invited to the party and not ignored.

So say yes to things, life is for living, live it, do it, not worrying over can if you should or the what-ifs, etc. Just prepare, listen to your body and with your heart soul and spirit igniting the joy in you, you will be surprised just how much you can do before you have to rest up.

Most of all go and enjoy your self, for that is what life is for, feed the joy, not the pain.

“My mission is to galvanise compassionate, creative thinkers with an educational influence, to be confident enough to make their own dreams come true and consciously make a lasting, positive impact in the world.

After years as an executive secretary in London and Brussels, Hyacinth re-trained to become a secondary school teacher in Belgium when her first child turned one. Something was disturbingly wrong with the college experience. As a mother, homemaker, foreigner, student and trainee teacher, Hyacinth had an insatiable need for visible vulnerability and personalisation. She wanted to train to become a teacher to stimulate the courageous and galvanise the dreamers, but there wasn’t much room for that in the schedule.

Although she suffered burn-out while studying, one thing became apparent and that was her entrepreneurial spirit was not being nurtured in the standard college environment. Hyacinth set out on a mission to prevent parents, educators and students being stuck in lifeless careers yearning to grow fast by risking failure often and unapologetically and so she spontaneously dedicated six years to independent study (and practice – while raising a family, running a home, nurturing her marriage, starting a business and – marginally- keeping her sanity).
Hyacinth finally trained as a Holistic Life Coach and developed a methodology on how to recognise and honour our elemental nature and enhance our leadership potential, promoting self-compassion and improved outlook on relationships, finances, career and health. Over the years Hyacinth has lead workshops/ provided consultation to entrepreneurs, Chief Executives, IT and PR professionals, a national airline, a National Government Conference, local schools and international parent boards.
She has a dream of creating an educational leadership & wellness village putting, the power of imagination and connection back in the hands of the community, empowering them to dare to dream BIG and striving to reach those dreams together.
