19-48 Love for my Children

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy on air from November 26th

Children are everything no matter how old they get, they will always be your babies. Seeing them become the awesome adults each serving mankind in their own way is so very beautiful, and I am so proud of each of them.

My eldest daughter just made a visit home from Toronto, it was the first time in a year. It is way too long, as a Mama, I want to see my children regularly, but also have to respect their life choice even if they take them away from me for a time.

Children are your forever no matter how old they become, they will always be your baby.

We could not all come together at once, but I had Tabytha and Tasha (with Hubby Rob) in Victoria then Tabytha and I went to see Tyler (my son) in Vancouver. Only 4 days together, but we got them jam-packed.

As a parent, we have to remember we are here as their custodians and we are here to inspire, lead, support and believe in them and love them unconditionally. We do this so when we let them go out into the world, they are filled with wise knowledge, inner truth, empathy compassion, and loving excitement of what the world has to offer them, and in Self Discovery of what the share with the world.

19-47 Balancing Negative to Positive Energy

Positive Thinking = Positive Living

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air form November 19th

Is negativity all bad? only when we get stuck in it and we are unwilling to embrace what positive possibilities are before us. The universe works on both a negative and positive frequency as we all do. We have night and day, black and white, Yin and Yang and that becomes our challenge to find a balance in it all.

It is not about being positive all the time, the happy willing only to see life jollies. It is being grateful for the things we can change, the choices we can make and live in a belief that we can make a positive difference in our lives and that of others.

We need the darkness to see the light, for then we truly see the truth of that light. The light can be blinding, so we need shade to contour it to define the light, everything has a purpose.

So take a positive attitude to life, when your down, mad, angry, hurt and in pain, spend that emotion so you can from those ashes fill your self up with some positive aspects that can and will show you the light and joy of life.

19-45 Allow things to Fall into place.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from November 5th

Falling into place because we allow it, what a concept. I came back from the UK with a choice to make, and because I was confused and tried I decided to sit back and ALLOW things to happen.

I did not expect it to happen so fast and in the way it has done so, but I know enough about life to step out of my own way and allow what is meant to be to be.

It is interesting that Australia has become so big in my life with 3 international companies extending into the world, I will be a gate to that world. (MORE TO COME IN DETAIL LATER)

So because I stepped back, relaxed, surrendered to allowing, because of one introduction from Gina Gardiner Self Discovery Media is branching out, much gratitude Gina who is also in our service directory.

So allow, do not dictate and let things happen as they are meant to, you have asked for help, clarity so let it happen.

19-44 Working Seniors with Sara Troy

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy

If we are lucky we all get older, but are we prepared for it?

Pensions are simply not enough, the cost of living has multiplied, and just surviving is hard enough, this is why so many seniors are still having to work for a living.

So many wonderful souls have made their self-discovery and have found a meaningful purpose later in life, and the work they do is a gift to those who are ready to hear and apply the wisdom. I have had the honour of sharing them with you here on Self Discovery Media.

They are making such a profound difference in the lives of others because of their incredible life journey. We learn so much from them and in this newfound joy of living, they have found so much love of life in what they do in helping others.

There is a but though, what about those who have to work because their pensions are not enough? They worked paid into their pension and now it simply is not enough to live on in today’s world. I have a friend who is 86 years old and still having to work to keep her home. It is not right and she is not alone.

So are you prepared for your old age? Have you ever thought about it? do you know what you can do to have enough when you retire? is there a way now you can earn more income?

Time to ask the questions but also time to be there for our seniors who have got caught in this extreme rise is the cost of living, we DON’T need now more homelessness, no more loneliness, and no more disposing of the elderly because society can’t be bothered.

UPDATE.

There seems to be a target on seniors with disabilities in Canada right now, and a fight is on for our salvation, always check your government because they do pull the plug hoping you won’t notice. So many of us died in this pandemic, needlessly, and now there is an attack on their livelihood, we paved the way for others to thrive, dignity and respect is needed now.

19-43 Sara’s UK experience

I had a wonderful trip to the UK to see my brother and sister to celebrate our coming of years. As time is passing us by so fast, getting together is a gift as one nevers knows what tomorrow holds, we are 65, 70 and 78, and living in the now is key.

We did so much, lots of walking, dining, shopping, seeing exhibits, movies, and more, it was a full trip.

First was having a wonderful lunch with my cousins, hosted by my cousin Cathrine whom I had not seen in 44 years, she and her husband Darius Rubeck (Dave Rubeck’s sons and also a musician, (who I interviewed here) bought us a fabulous lunch at a 1400 century pub in Rye, my sister Jane was there and my cousin Bridgette and Susie.

My sister and I went to see the Mary Quant exhibit a designer from the ’60s who changed fashion completely, then on to a fabulous meal at The Builders Arms in Chelsie, beautiful trout done in a chili sauce.

My brother and I went back to his new home in Grimsby and had a week of walks, good food and relaxation. I read his new book in the works called “We feel your pain so you don’t have to” it will make a great movie. MORE ON SAMS WORK HERE.

We went to so many great restaurants, like the Doggie cafe where you and your dog can dine, a Vegan cafe in Louth wonderful scones all vegan, fish cakes at Willies pub in Cleethorpes, and a lovely lunch in an old school room in Horncastle.

We went back to London to have my last few days together, We went to the Borough Market and had the most fantastic Paella, the market is filled with wonderful spices, loaves of bread, cheeses, lunch delights and it was great.

We went by St Francis Drakes ship and saw the tallest building in London. It was a beautiful warm day as was most of them while there. Life was buzzing and people buying as was I, and London is in a constant state of building.

The Strand and other wonderful buildings.

My sister and I went to see the Downton Abby movie and loved it, it was so much fun. My brother and I went to see Ad Astra, the Brad Pitt movie, a nice story building movie that did not rely on all action.

Our birthday dinner was at an Italian restaurant in Beckenham, I had mussels, cannelloni, and cream caramel and throughout this trip, I have had wonderful wine.

I am very grateful to them and my kids who made it possible for me to go to the UK and see family, a wonderful trip and so good to be with relatives again.

One thing I could have done without is Brexit, my sister is very involved in it and it got intense, I did a show while there on politics. You Can find that here.
