Coming from an Asian traditional family. I have been told and made to believe that a woman should shut up, put your head down, be the sister, be the partner, and be the wife of how society wants us to be. That is how a woman will get a rainbow life.

Nevertheless, after I experienced the traditional way. I realize even I have followed all the traditions and expectations from others. My life was far from a rainbow. Instead it was filled with abuse from my 19 years DV marriage. Being bullied as a young kid all the way to adulthood. The hardest thing for me to admit was being sexually molested by someone I trusted at a young age that my brain have to shut down that memory to protect me. So, I would say, my life was far from rainbow but it was sure colourful.

What changed my life was when I first start to work on my career as a makeup artist. I started running my own business and became well know in helping other woman to feel and look beautiful.

During covid, my makeup business was at a stand still. I am grateful at that time, I met my current partner. He encourage me to take on life development studies as he told me , I am quite inspirational.

I took his advice and move forward with the idea. Gratefully, I was featured in Yahoo Finance as the top 1% of business and confidence in Australia.

My journey have shown me, I don’t need to be perfect to be confident. But I do need to have the will to continue to try and not to give up even when it looks like the world has given up on you.

Because, somewhere, someone is listening. You will always get what you ask for at the end.

Today I help other women, especially women over 40+ to realize, there is more to life, there is more to discovery about themselves and there is still the chance to find the happiness you desire. All you have to do, is to start asking and start receiving.

My big WHY is to evolve the human experience, or in other words, awakening to ourselves. We can use any catalyst in our lives for that purpose, and my focus is relationships and money. Two of the big ones, however, today we said our focus would be on relationships, for after Valentines Day!

As I was going to counselling school, the main personal reason I wanted to go was because I wanted to learn how to forge a new relationship with my Mom. For the same reason I had done many years of personal development courses before this, but nothing changed until I became a counsellor. And, when I changed, it didn’t just help me change my relationship to my Mom, it changed everything in my life. I have now been happily married for 13 years and I can honestly say that I would not have been able to stay married without the success of what finally happened between me and her. Not only that, but I have a renewed sense of personal empowerment in all of my relationships and I face the world in a whole different way.

It is the year of the Dragon, which represents CHANGE, and oh boy, do we need it. As is evident by the state of the world, if we do not change in all areas of the world and life, we are doomed.

TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW…LET LOVE RULE YOUR CHOICES.

Reflecting on the state of our world often leaves me pondering with a heavy heart, “How did we arrive at this juncture? How have we permitted the resurgence of conflicts, the rise of dishonest, misogynistic leaders who strive to regress rather than progress, who foster division rather than unity among nations?” It’s undeniable—we’re witnessing an era of profound desolation, where despair hangs heavily in the air, leading many to believe that life holds no more promise, no hope for what’s to come.

BUT, let me be clear—this is the moment for a pivotal shift, a resurgence of hope and action.

For nearly a dozen years, my life’s work has been to amplify the voices of optimism, the individuals who not only hold hope close to their hearts but also actively seek and create solutions. These are the souls who care deeply, who tirelessly work towards a future brimming with love, hope, and boundless possibilities for all. Their stories are the lighthouses in our stormy world, and it’s time we set our sails towards their light. It’s time for change, it’s time for hope.
