Growing I was told that my opinion did not matter. Nothing I said would ever impact anyone and that I should learn to take orders from those who were smarter than I was. When I told my school advisors that I wanted to attend university they sat me and my mother done to explain why people like me would never be able to do anything more than a simple trade and university was not the place for me. I did attend university and became a very successful chemical engineer and analyst. But that was not enough I found a calling to help people change their lives and change the world.

Most media business owners are after dollars and build shows simply to make money. I build shows that are designed to inspire change in our world. I want everyone to know they have a voice worth listening to and they have a message that can help empower at least one person to live a brilliant life. While, yes our shows at Depiction Media do make us money and attract sponsor listeners my hope and goal is touch lives the money helps me find more lives to change.

Our company is founded on the idea that everyone has a voice and everyone should be heard. If you are in a state of around speaking out. Discussion of what we need in our culture right now – consciousness and how Self-Discovery Media addresses that need. Sara talks about the vision behind the platform and what she wants to accomplish with it. What a redirect is and how we all go through them as we become more conscious and find our true path and the need for supporting people going through them and seeing their possibilities and worth. In fact, seeing all humans as worthy and acknowledging their humanity no matter what their current situation.

How we can act now wherever we are, to make a better world without waiting for governments or organizations to change. We are the change. We have impact. We make good things happen.

We also talked about integrity and staying true to our vision. For Sara, part of that is to not have commercials on the websites and instead focus on sponsors. Bottom line it is all about integrity, staying true to ourselves and what we know is right living for us. Which also impacts how we treat and honor one another. As Sara says, it’s about heart and soul.

Sara Troy, host, owner of Self Discovery Media Network (formally known as Self Discovery Radio) has been interviewing for almost 7 years now, and in her own Self Discovery, she decided to expand out with her own network (6 years ago in June 2019) wanting to bring even more opportunity for the knowledge learnt by others journeys to benefit some on their own path of self discovery.
