As an independent academic, she is a humanities expert, systems thinker and futures consultant. She serves as a CPO (Chief Philosophy Officer) on board of multiple organizations, steering organizational visions and outcomes sourced in the highest values. An international lecturer and speaker, she specializes in ecological literacy and sustainability, value drivers of the new economies, peace and cultural diplomacy, new paradigm of human development and creative sides to future making. She is the Chair of the Membership Communications Committee at the World Academy of Art and Science. Mila is a Global Member of Protopia Labs and a Global Collaborator at the Global Education Futures (GEF) Foundation and a co-author of the GEF Report, Educational Ecosystems for Societal Transformation.

Mila is the Co-Chair of the Global Blockchain and AI Council and a Founding Member of the Global Women in Blockchain. She is a Fellow of Vital Voices – Global Women’s Leadership and an Associate Expert on ethics and gender issues at the European Commission. As the proponent of eco-conscious business, Mila serves on the Executive Committee / Brains Trust of Hazel Henderson’s Ethical Markets Media and is a member of the MasterMind Group at DaVinci Institute. She is an Expert on the Gender Equality Impact Panel of the Katerva Award – the so-called “Nobel Prize in Sustainability.”

Mila’s work is sourced in three major domains: systems sciences and integral knowledge, psychology of transformation, and anticipation and future studies. She has developed a distinctive spectrum of practices – a confluence of academic engagements and artistic creations – for the art and science of transformation, which she lectures on and teaches internationally. Mila delivers lectures and talks; designs courses and webinars; organizes fora and conferences; creates cultural events; and leads and facilitates workshops and transformational labs. In her labs, she engages multiple intelligences to stimulate synesthetic experiences for awakening individual potential and collective genius.

She draws on her cultural range from native Montenegro and resident USA for her artistic expression as a performing artist in multiple dance forms, bilingual poet and experimental theater art director. She is an educational and social innovator and creative entrepreneur – a social artist sourcing her diverse engagements as an academic, artist and activist to engender social transformation and systemic change for individual and collective thriving.

Nick Duffell was born in 1949, took his degree in Sanskrit at Oxford. He has been a teacher, care-staff, carpenter, divorce mediator, psychotherapist and management consultant. In 1990 he began offering specialist group therapy to Boarding School Survivors (as he provocatively named adult ex-boarders). Ten years later he published his findings in The Making of Them, The British Attitude to Children and the Boarding School System, which has received wide critical acclaim, including an endorsement by the BMJ.

In 1996, with his wife Helena Løvendal-Duffell, he founded the Centre for Gender Psychology, which offers public workshops as well as specialist training for professionals in the field of relationships, sex, and gender. In 2002 HarperCollins published their book Sex, Love and the Danger of Intimacy, which has now been translated into several languages.

He now specialises in training couple-therapists, working with men’s issues, and is a frequent contributor to theoretical debates in the psychological press. He spends his non-work time deep in the French countryside, caring for trees and vegetables, experimenting with solar power and sawing his own wood.

Synchronistory’s roots reach back more than thirty years. It began in 1987 on the floor of a New York City living room, where a world map lay open and a timeless question was asked in earnest: “Who in heaven are we, and why on earth are we here?”

Eleven years later, that same question echoed on the floor of the United Nations in the event’s original incarnation: Hands Around the World: Humanity Celebrates the Millennium, introduced during a world television forum exploring the future of this defining moment in history.

Sara Troy of “Self Discovery Radio TV” is the owner-operator-/host and she believes in knowingness, that feeling you get when you let the divine intellect speak to your gut and enter its all-knowing knowledge, it then resonates with your heart in truth and passion, on to the spirit to get into action, and draws from the mind what it needs to know at the time it needs to know it. Each week my hosts and I interview exceptional people living extraordinary lives, sharing their expertise and their own self-discovery. We discover knowledge on our health, our inner wealth, our planet and our role here and our possibilities that we are inspired to follow. The story of others in overcoming life’s challenges in placing value on self, and in igniting their true meaningful calling, is truly liberating. It has been a wonderful journey of illumination for me and our listeners come and take a listen and hear why.
