Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Karin Sauren-Bakkers, on air from July 9th
When our son Wesley was born with Down Syndrome, we were quickly informed about all the possible health challenges he could face. In my journey I have been searching for natural ways to optimize his health and wellness and not take the health issues for granted as being part of Down Syndrome. I would like to share what I have discovered so far in my journey on this topic, to help other parents in their journey.
From 1991 to 1997, I earned my MA in Business Econometrics with a specialization in Logistics. This foundation led to a career at IBM from 1997 to 2012, where I worked in Spare Parts Logistics across Amsterdam, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
In November 2007, my son Wesley was born with Down Syndrome. This life-changing event inspired me to take several courses from 2010 to 2013 focused on enhancing the cognitive development of children with Down Syndrome. From 2012 to 2015, I attended meetings with Marieke de Vrij, a Spiritual Trendsetter, exploring the topic “The Gift of Down.”
In spring 2013, Wesley and I began following the Primal Diet, which is free of grains and dairy and includes additional vegetables. My interest in health and wellness grew, leading me to pursue education in Orthomolecular Medicine from 2014 to 2015 and Medical Basics Education from 2015 to 2016. I then ran my own practice as an Orthomolecular Therapist from 2016 to 2019.
During this period, I also pursued education in Psych0-Neuro-Endocrine-Immunology from 2017 to 2019 and completed a Health & Wellness Coaching Course at A Wellness Revolution (AWR) from 2017 to 2018. Since 2019, I have been a member of the Senior Executive Team at A Wellness Revolution, contributing as part of the AWR team.
HERE IS A DETAILED PDF ON WESLEYS HEALTH JOURNEY AND WHAT HAS HELPED HIM.
Our son Wesley Sauren dreams of becoming a famous YouTube game vlogger. He is developing his skills in this area and started posting videos of his life on YouTube. He would love people to subscribe to his channel.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from July 2nd
I just finished watching a show on Netflix called Sweet Tooth. It’s about all children being born as hybrids—half animal, half human—and a sickness that’s killing all humans. Watching this show, which emphasizes that being different is not a curse but a gift, made me reflect on the differences in our children today. Some are differently-abled, like those with Autism or Down Syndrome, or they might be Indigo children with exceptional talents and understanding beyond their years. It made me realize that we, as human beings, need to change and evolve into a higher consciousness—or risk being left behind.
Why do we fear those who are different? Why do we lose ourselves trying to be the same as everyone else, when we need to embrace the uniqueness of our own being? The mindless following and comparing ourselves to everyone else, wanting to be like everyone else instead of embracing who we really are, is what’s causing the human sickness today.
When we realize our own beautiful uniqueness and gifts, despite our differences, we truly understand life in a better way. If we are still so hung up on color, sex, money, power, and greed, we will never grow and will forever be stuck in a cycle of lack and insecurities.
Let us learn before it is too late for the human race. If we continue like this, we will decline and be replaced, when we could be so much more in a higher elevation of wise consciousness and loving kindness.
The wisdom from the universe is begging us to grow up and step into our spiritual compassion, kindness, awareness, consideration, collaboration, and love. If we do not, we are doomed.
It is ultimately our choice, but I choose to rise up, not spiral down.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from June 25th
What is your body, tone and words really saying to everyone?
We speak words but are they resonating with others, are they engaging the listener, are we speak to not only be heard but felt too? We long to get our message across and have people want to reach out to us, but, unless we are speaking from the heart and soul how are people going to truly hear us.
It is not about the silver Tung, many a dictator has a gift for rile people up into atrocious action, but more about the passion and true calling of our intent and meaningful purpose.
55 % of our presentation is in how we look, dress in your own light and let your aura show, 38% is your tone of voice, are you speaking to be heard in a way that is inviting and open. only 7% is about your content, if they have not bought your presence and tone, your content wont matter.
