24-23. The 262 Mission was Accepted

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from June 4th

When the first 262 summits started, I had no idea it would be so big, so impactful, so illuminating and so exciting. Now that the book is here, with all 262 authors sharing snippets of passion and wisdom, the celebration continues in a big way.

I have had the honor of interviewing many of the authors in this book, and today I share but a few and a snippet of what they are sharing with you. I invite you to take a listen to their shows and hear/see for your self the inspiring knowledge and wisdom they have to share.

Each one has a passion for being and doing what they are called to do, the book reflects that, as do their story’s they share with me. Starting with the amazing Deb Drummond, the seeder of this adventure. Her dedication and passion in getting this book out, and sharing it around the globe, is truly exemplary. She has done six shows with me, each one of them filled with content that will illuminate your way in business and life.

My self and my daughter Tabytha Towe are in the book too, pages 62 and 82, I am very proud of her work as a custom mixologist designing the right cocktail for any event.

Here are but 40+ shows with these inspirational people, do enjoy and do not forget to buy the book and share the shows.

24-22. Spirited Cosmic Nature

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from May 28th

As the wind blows and releases me from my wows, I feel connected to nature and all it has to give. The wind clears our thought’s and our trees speak to us so deeply, the water is a conduit that feeds our souls, nature along with the cosmos, is here to serve us.

We get so caught up in the expectations of life that we lose our selves. We are divine beings here to have a wonderful human spirited experience, to feel, touch, hold taste, and immerse our selves in to the wonders that the universe and earth has to gift us. But, are we listening? are we FEELIN? ARE WE ALLOWING ? are we Hearing what nature and the cosmos are saying to us? ARE WE CONNECTED?

We keep on driving blindly, mindlessly forward, when the divine is asking us to turn right, to go down a different path, it is speaking to your Gut, Your Soul, Your heart, Your spirit and your very Being. Are we hearing or are we ignoring the messages that is always speaking to you. ARE WE SO COUGHT UP IN HUMAN EXPECTATION AND ILLUIONMENT THAT WE SHUT OUT ALL OTHER MESSAGES? . Is it not time to tune in, to feel in, to listen in, to absorb from the inside, all that the divine guidance and heart spirit knowingness’ that is being shared with us!

My journey has been one of letting go all the expectations of me and allow my self to become who are I am divinely. It has been a long journey because I though I had to wait for permission to explore me, instead, I was the one to GIVE the permission, me, and only me, could do that.

Now in my freedom of divine self and meaningful purpose am I being me, who is enough for the path that I am meant to be on, doing what I was designed to do, is enough, it is divine, it is connected and it is open to receive and embrace all I am and all I am hear to do. I turned right.

24-21. Try a Little Change

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from May 23rd

Are you afraid of change? I know it can be scary, but also so good for you. I have moved cities, I am in a home my daughter and husband got me, I am happy here. Yes I still have a lot of sorting to do, but as I drive around and see how many beautiful trees and water surround us, I am blessed. Everything is a few minutes away, shopping center, 4 mins, my daughter, 12 mins, the ferry 10 mins, big stores 15 mins, and all the time there is either water or and trees all around us, which I love. Trees are so wise and feed us on so many levels, water is a conduit, and that breeze is for ever clearing the air of what needs to go.

I am turning 70 in a few months. I am ready for a forever home, rooting deep, but still growing tall and allowing my branches to go with the flow of life. As a young person I moved a lot, I was deep into exploring life, living it, feeling it, being it. I explored a lot in my discovery of life. That is ok, I was young and on an adventure of life, I regret none of it, for that is how I got to live in four countries and explored life in all its colours.

Now at my age, I am glad to be rooted, but that does not mean I am not ready to keep on exploring what is possible in life, it just means I will do it from this place of grounding. I have produced and been in four books in the last five months. I am about to start the production of the next book. I am still interviewing people from around the globe and loving it. I have my family and Grandsons near and love having them here, in my home, I love the playing and snuggling with Grandma. They inspire me, to see life from their eyes and have so much joy over the little things in life.

I think change is good for us, even if we have rooted. Never give up exploring life, trying something new, stretching yourself out of your comfort zone, and let life renew you and show you that there is so much more to do, to be. It is not over until we exit our bodies, so live, maybe a bit slower, but be inquisitive and seek out the unknown, for it keeps you young, engaged and productive in your life.

You have so much more to give, more to discover and more to love about life, so allow life to happen and enjoy it all the way.

24-20 So worth it.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from May 14th

I’ve finally settled into my forever home, or at least I hope it’s forever. It’s incredibly peaceful here, surrounded by trees and the sweet symphony of birdsong. Owls chime in at night, adding to the tranquility. Despite the serene setting, the move itself was quite the ordeal, especially with my fibro and arthritis acting up like an unwelcome duo.

Moving from Victoria to Nanaimo on the Island was a challenge, but thankfully, I had the assistance of two remarkable young men from a company called Junk in your Trunk. These guys were a godsend—kind, helpful, and considerate beyond measure. They went above and beyond what I expected from a moving company, and their rates were the best I found. Their help made the transition smoother and eased a lot of my stress.

The next leg of the journey involved retrieving all my belongings from storage in Vancouver, just a ferry ride away. I’m immensely grateful to my son Tyler and his fiancée Jess for not only gifting me a couch but also for lending their strength in loading everything onto the truck and then into my new home. Their support made the process much smoother. And I can’t forget to thank my oldest daughter Tabytha for her invaluable help in emptying out the storage unit and keeping me grounded throughout the whole ordeal. Having family by my side made all the difference.

In my new home now, the task of finding places for all my belongings is both exciting and daunting. I know I’ll have to bid farewell to some of it, but as things start to come together, there’s a sense of accomplishment. My son-in-law and daughter, who generously bought me this home, have been absolute heroes. They’ve been unpacking, hanging pictures, and even replacing appliances (the old stove had a penchant for fiery antics). Their support has been a blessing beyond words.

My grandson RoRo is absolutely thrilled to be at Grandma’s, and I cherish every moment with him. And my little one is as content as can be, always adaptable. Amidst the ongoing unpacking and organizing, I’m learning to listen to my body’s signals—it’s telling me to slow down and take breaks, I have to as I seize right up painfully. We’re negotiating, my body and I, with a bit of humor thrown in. HAHA.

There’s still plenty to do, but I remind myself that I have time. I’ll tackle each task gradually, one box, one plate at a time. Patience is key, and I’m not going anywhere. This home is where I’ll settle in, make memories, and create my sanctuary.

Thank you for my home Shearers, it is so lovely living on my own and I am in such a peaceful place.

24-18. Senior Energy

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air form April 29th

As I watched my Grandson’s play with other children from one of my Grandsons 1st birthday, I realized that it was wonderful to witness, but also wearisome. It’s truly delightful to see the innocence and joy in children as they interact with each other, forming friendships and creating memories. However, as a grandparent, keeping up with their boundless energy and constant activity can also be tiring. Balancing the joy of the moment with the exhaustion it brings is a part of the beautiful journey of parenthood and grandparenthood. Nonetheless, these experiences are cherished for a lifetime, creating a tapestry of precious moments that contribute to the richness of family life.

It is important to recognize that taking breaks and allowing ourselves time to recharge is not only acceptable but also essential for maintaining our well-being. As we mature, our energy levels may not be as boundless as they were in earlier years, particularly when our children were young. This means that we may tire more easily and be more susceptible to feeling drained by raucous or energetic environments, such as those filled with lively, rambunctious noise. Recognizing our personal limitations and taking the necessary steps to address them is a vital part of self-care and ensuring that we are better equipped to engage with the world around us. Whether it means taking a breather or returning home to regroup, it’s important to prioritize our own needs in order to effectively navigate the demands of our environment.

Do not feel shame or apologies for that is not necessary, feel no guilt, for we all if lucky enough to get to a mature age, will feel the same at some point. It’s important to recognize that experiencing these emotions is a natural part of the human experience. Instead of feeling shame or guilt, it’s essential to practice self-compassion and understanding. By acknowledging and accepting our emotions, we can work towards healing and growth. Everyone faces challenges and moments of vulnerability, and it’s okay to seek support and understanding during these times. Remember, you are not alone in feeling this way, and it’s okay to be gentle with yourself as you navigate through these emotions. Embracing our vulnerabilities can lead to greater empathy and connection with others, ultimately enriching our human experience. Allow yourself the space to feel and grow from these moments, as they are an integral part of our journey through life.

So enjoy the party what ever it is, but know when to take a break, or leave and do not feel guilting about it, if people do not understand, that is on them.
