We each of us have an important role to play in collaboration of uniting the world

We speak words spoken in excitement, but in the end, it is an action that speaks louder.

We live in a world were we are either too busy or don’t care to commit to our words.

We have a conversation with someone, a spark ignites and we say that we would love to work together, but in the end they’re just words.

We say it is so good to meet someone with the same interests, let’s keep it going, but forget to call.

We are looking for someone to work with, share with, grow a dream with, and when we think we have found them, we let them go.

Why are we so fickle, why be in the moment, all “gong ho” only to fall flat?

We need each other, we are not designed to do it alone, do we forget that?

I have met so many people I would love to build with, to collaborated to expand each others work, to unit to introduce to connect to, but it never follows through, why?

Now I am not going to put this on me, no why me, but ask why people say one thing and do another?

Have we become so short-sighted that we can only see what is in front of us in the moment and not retain a longer thought?

Have we become to Instagramed that we only live for that moment then go seek the next frill?

Are we so what’s in it for me $$$$$$$ that we miss the real worth?

Have we become to wrapped in EGO we have forgotten our message?

Are we just seeking fame, glory, self-importance and lost our way?

What happened to nurturing a relationship and seeing where the possibilities go?

Life is not a quick fix. Life is not instant gratification. Life is not a drug, but a slow methodical vibrant flowing energy that needs to grow needs to move, needs to be fed.

I would love to work with many of the people I have interviewed, I would love to build them up, connect them and celebrate their work in unified collaboration. I am doing that now, but it is very one sided except for a few.

I can name a dozen people right now that I see a synergy with, I see a connective growing collaboration building a matrix of divine healers, leaders, builders, and inspirer’s, that if we built a unified umbrella to house us all in, would give the world a place to come to that would have the answers, tools, wisdom, health and love they need.

imagesI am building such a place, the Self Discovery MEDIA network houses many of them right now, I am building my Mentors check here  and a Orchard of Wisdom that is in service to all we can help find their own footing in life. 

My Invitation is to those I have interviewed to join me, to build a place to call home, figuratively and virtually and eventually in a solid platform.

I recently did a show on Child Sex Slavery and it makes my blood boil and my heart ache.

This is not a nice topic, it is uncomfortable as it should be if we felt comfortable with this topic something is wrong with us. So I ask what kind of person (mostly male) can look at a child as a sex object? How can they see them and even think SEX? How can their consciousness allow them to go there?

Sex is a beautiful thing between consenting adults, it is not in any way a good thing between an adult and a child. Where does this sickness come from, how do we stop it and where is the accountability?

16/17 A Dream Long Dreamt

Over the years I have dreamt of creating certain things, now closer to a possibility of making it happen, I am looking at the collective picture to make happen, come hear my dreams and see if you want to be a part of them.

I believe if we bring the business world and the wellness world together in ethical, dignified, respectful and enlightened collaboration, we would unite the good vibrations this world needs to move forward into global well-being productivity. 

Back in 2001 when I started The Art of Positive Living, I desired a large old house that would provide holistic services for those willing to embrace a new path to wellness. In this house was an aromatherapy room, a massage room, a yoga room, an acupuncture room, an intuitive room, an inferred sauna room, a child care room for parents, a social guidance therapy room, and a juice bar with healthy snacks room.

It would have been a membership and would have allowed 20% of its participant’s free to allow access to people like Mums, Dads, caregivers and homeless who need it and can’t afford it.

A dream not yet realized but still obtainable.

I also dreamt of a community where holistic, alternative life styler’s and practitioners would live and work. Not a hippie commune but a professional healing arena and training ground for people to come to in order to heal and healers to learn how to heal and grown their own businesses.

Having now interviewed over 550+ people who are doing great things for people in the world, I know the one thing lacking is a PLACE for like-souled, minded and spirited people to come and embrace their like collaborators and expand on their personal gifts.

Working with Bill Mackie for over 11 years now, and sharing many visions, both of us desiring to make things better for mankind, we have come to a place in time where we are in the same book but both have our own chapters.

Bill Maquis has a tool the Mindology tool that will help any and everyone stay focused by understanding how to live in their ZONE of productivity. This tool which will be free to the individual guides us to staying on track and recognizing what takes us out of our ZONE and shows us how to stay in self-production.  Bill has designed an incredible building that will be a training/convention centre for companies and small/large business to learn this tool and in how to apply it in their own company to increase productivity. It is also a place to host spirit and wellness events to a larger well-being community.

His philosophy a lot like mine is always to give a portion away to seed others in their own productive possibilities, which in turn helps mankind grow by building stronger communities. A portion of the overall proceeds go back into the community giving the opportunity to those who need care guidance and hope who budget does not allow for it.

Self Discovery Radio has led me to some extraordinary people doing wonderful things for the people and the planet, and as a possibility seer, I see lots of cohesive collaborations with many. BUT, if they do not see it or feel it or do not wish to pursue it, then it is a no go.

So I keep my fishing rod out there, always looking for those collaborations, those potential co/ventures and soul alignments that could propel any of us forward in to that bigger picture. I know there is much to seed to water to grow, I know there are others who see the possibilities, I know that like-minded, souled, spirited, and visionary s are out there desiring the same if not better dream in creating a united community that serves all who need it.

Globally we are each doing our own thing, but by weaving our thread together we can have a blanket of hope, possibilities, actions and production with a solid foundation to grow and unit on.

I have asked the universe to send me such innovative active souls who share a similar vision so we may start building a foundation in which to build all those possibilities.

So far I have someone who sees the bigger picture and shares a desire, and someone who has the people who could build it, and many of those who will use it. Now like a good piece of music, we need to bring it together in harmony and produce a musical piece that inspires illuminates and invites all those who are ready to take action in building a better life for themselves and a stronger world for us all to live in.

Here I go, leap of faith, for I believe in my meaningful purpose and the journey it took to get here. I am ready to make this vision a reality, I am open to partnerships with those who share the dream and step forth in action, I am in joy to know that this will build a safe haven for all those who wish to embrace their soul, heart, spirit freedom and become part of the solution to the worlds problems.

It all starts with us, within us and because of us, let this be the platform that unites us all in unity and dignity and meaningful global purpose.

16/15 Children of Mixed Race.

I married a Chinese guy much to my mothers horror, and although we are not together any more we have 3 incredible children to be thankful for. Yes they are mixed, does that mean any thing? Not to me, I see them in all their divine beauty and in unison of races only builds a broader future.

Today I will share my perspective on mixed race children and the whole race divide. Please read the story my mother wrote when my oldest was born.

My mother who was British  and raised in Indian with a father who was a  Colonel in the British army, was bought up to believe that no race should have mixed children. This is her letter to my first born child of mixed race, Tabytha.

My Mother Wrote.

When I was young my father said “In all the books I have read it was considered very best that the East should never mate with the West.” Now I am older and alone the oracle is one of my own, I feared to say the very least taking the hand one from the East.

When my golden girl with East did mate I mourned within for this unknown fate of my father’s words, that he knew best.

As I waited the result of East and West betwixt with pain and joy, I tried to prepare to take into my heart the child that was near.

That day dawned and away went fear, my heart overflowed the child was here.

From my head the old words returned, but I had a lesson learned.

That East and Wests love conquers fear, as in my arms they put you there.

Two pairs of eyes, Blue and Black filled pride they could not hold back. I looked at the link that came from this pair and my heart opened wide with such love for her.

We joined in rejoicing over one so dear, this black haired doe eyes rosy Tabytha.

If not around when you are grown you will never be alone, for I will watch over you and guide you path of truth.

Tabytha is now 33 and her Grandmama past, Tabytha is loved deeply as was the 2 more children Tyler and Natasha that came from this marriage.

Tabytha shares her view on growing up of mixed race. 

12642612_10156527142695581_5139872355156635349_nGrowing up as mixed in the 80’s I was marked as “yellow”. I was too young to understand other cultures, or that I am half Chinese, half British. I did dream of having blue eyes like my Mother though…. As I grew older mixed culture was part of every day life, our friends were Italian, Western, Chinese, Japanese, East Indian,  African…..we saw more people in Canada, especially in B.C. be of mixed race, not even just immigrants but black and white couples, Latino and European kids etc. We knew no difference we were all just kids.

I’m very glad I was raised by different multiculturalism. I even joke today that if I ever get married, I hope to have mixed children myself, one day -well, maybe-if I marry, so that they get the best of 2 or 3 worlds: My brother and sister and I were born in BC Canada with ‘North American’ ways, with a Chinese father and British mother. Tea time with Earl grey after school with scones, then Chow mien for supper (different in Europe, actually tea time is supper but anyway), let’s just call it dinner then, followed by oolong Chinese tea.

The world is a vast place, but it can also be a small world. Everyone should be able to live harmoniously and enjoy what each culture can bring. Racism is weak, for people who are afraid. Imagine never having pizza or tacos or sushi or listening to old blues or having different art and music and language influences? Pretty boring huh. Thanks Mom and Dad for making us not a majority of white kids in a Canadian city.

Glad it has changed today and has become more acceptable to be different. SEE ME FOR WHO I AM.

Tyler says that he never saw the difference, he was Tyler, he has many friends of mixed race to this day and he does not see skin colour but who they are from the inside out.

“Not being able to identify with one particular culture. Made it difficult to place my self somewhere. And was perhaps the provider for my inability to find attachments to things throughout my life. But I’m not sure that’s a bad thing; I don’t feel apart of any one category. And though that can be confusing, it’s also allowed me freedom to be whatever I feel I need to be in that moment.”
