David Christopher is an award-winning author and teacher of the “new story,” a story that integrates the science of the 20th and 21st centuries with a spiritual sensibility toward the creation of the Universe.

He missed the lyricism of the liturgy and the sound of the scriptures. He wanted more. He wanted a story that also felt like the story given to him in his youth.

This led him to write The Holy Universe: A New Story of Creation for the Heart, Soul and Spirit, which just recently won the Silver in the Nautilus Book Awards for Religion and Spirituality. David brings life to the scientific study of the Universe, transforming it into a lyrical narrative of the story of Creation.

Leaving behind corporate and airline careers, David has pursued his passion for exploring the answers to humanity’s questions about our place in the Universe, bringing forth this new story for our turbulent times.

The Holy Universe front cover w_award The dialogues within The Holy Universe are an outgrowth of 15 years of David’s delving into the works of transformational scientists, philosophers, and theologians, along with his work with the Pachamama Alliance’s Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium.

He wrote the book in part for people like him who call themselves “spiritual but not religious,” who are trying to make sense of the craziness going on in the world and who seek a meaningful path through the global crises we collectively face.
