Sheri began writing as a child, and continued throughout her award-winning marketing career. In 2010, she decided to leave the comfort of her corporate job, and pursue her passion for making a difference in the lives of others through her uplifting stories.
Sheri’s first children’s book, The Little Rose, is an enchanting tale about a rose growing in a weedbed who learns to accept and love herself despite her differences. Exploring the Garden with The Little Rose, debuted on the Amazon best-seller list in October 2012. The story takes young children on an educational alphabetical adventure alongside the Little Rose.
Sheri’s most recent work, The Little Firefly, became a #1 best-seller 18 days prior to its March 2013 release date. The Little Firefly follows the tale of a late-blooming firefly who is surrounded by fireflies already gifted with the ability to glow. Essential themes such as love, friendship, and acceptance are highlighted in this inspiring story.
Sheri’s children’s books have won numerous literary honors, most recently including the esteemed Mom’s Choice Awards® Gold Medallion, a B.R.A.G. Medallion Award®, a KART Kids Book List Award®, and a Gold Medal in the Reader’s Favorite International Book Awards®.
