Marilynn Hughes founded The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation in 2003 (Mission: Reduce Spiritual and Physical Hunger Worldwide). Marilynn has experienced, researched, written, and taught about Out of Body Travel and Mysticism since 1987 and has appeared on dozens of radio and television programs to discuss her thousands of out-of-body experiences.
Marilynn Hughes has studied the Ancient Sacred Texts of all Major and Minor World Religions, as well as Catholic Mystical, Ascetical, Biblical, Doctrinal, Dogmatic, Systematic, Liturgical, Catechetical and Moral Theology. She has also studied Individual Schools of Theology, including Franciscan, Carmelite, Ignatian, Dominican, and Benedictine.
Marilynn has trained as a Remote Viewer in Transdimensional, Controlled, and Associative Remote Viewing and is a Hypnotherapist. She received certifications in various psychological and therapeutic modalities including NLP, REBT, CBT, ACT, DBT, MBCT, EFT, TFT, SFBT, and NBA Therapies.
Marilynn has authored 104 books, 40 magazines, and 18 CDs on Out of Body Travel and Comparative Religious Mysticism including her seminal classic The Mysteries of the Redemption: A Treatise on Out-of-Body Travel and Mysticism, which is now in development with a Hollywood production company to create a feature film/tv series based on her experiences shared in this work. Marilynn also joins James Van Praagh on the board for The Afterlife Uncovered, a television project.

Marilynn Hughes is the author of The Voice of the Prophets: Wisdom of the Ages, the first and only English-language encyclopedia of ancient sacred texts. Her work in out-of-body travel has been featured in multiple documentaries, including The Road to Armageddon: A Spiritual Documentary and The Grand Phases of the Soul. She is developing a feature film/TV series based on The Mysteries of the Redemption with Ubiquity Entertainment.

Marilynn’s research appears in The Encyclopedia of the Unseen World and Extra-Planetary Experiences and has been recognized by Simply Amazing Women author KC Armstrong. She co-authored a chapter in The Change with Dr. Rudy Schild of Harvard. Formerly a consultant for The Dr. Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Experiences, she now serves on the board of The Afterlife Uncovered alongside James Van Praagh.

Experiencing out-of-body travel since childhood, Marilynn founded The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation in 2003. She has extensively studied ancient sacred texts, theology, and mystical traditions across major religions. BRAVE Books has released a “Matrix” parody video ahead of the release of “The Matrix Resurrections.”

The “Woketrix” video echoes the notorious explanation of the Matrix that Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) gives in the first film, but this video urges a child to take the “red pill” of Brave Books to escape the false reality of “Wokeism.”

“You are here because you know something,” a character in a suit and black sunglasses says as the video opens. “What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. Do you want to know what it is? Wokeism.”

“Wokeism is everywhere,” the Morpheus-like character continues. “It is all around us, even now in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window, or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you play in the ball pit or when you go to sleep in your crib. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth: that you are a slave, like everyone else you were born into bondage. Born into a prison for your mind.”

“Unfortunately, no one can be told what Wokeism is, you have to see it for yourself,” he continues. “This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take ‘Woke Up My Baby,’ the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take ‘BRAVE Books,’ you stay in wonderland, and I tell you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

The camera then pans away from the man to show a little girl, who seems far more interested in a “juice cup” than in deep questions of reality.

The parody serves as a clever ad for BRAVE Books, a series of children’s books written by conservative authors that promote conservative ideas. Ashley St. Clair wrote “Elephants Are Not Birds,” addressing gender. Elizabeth Johnston wrote “Little Lives Matter,” addressing the sanctity of life. Jack Posobiec wrote “The Island of Free Ice Cream,” showing the dangers of communism. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, wrote “Fame Blame and the Raft of Shame” about cancel culture. The Hodgetwins wrote “More Than Spots and Stripes,” inoculating kids against critical race theory.

Our child safety journey began just after our son Markus turned two years old. He was sitting in his highchair eating some fresh fruit that I had cut up for him for breakfast, but little did I know that just moments later, everything would change.
As I was watching him eat, all of a sudden, he just froze. Everything stopped. I instantly knew something was very wrong, and then I realized he couldn’t breathe. He was choking. He dipped his head slightly and looked up at me, and in his eyes—the only way I could possibly begin to describe it—was a look of silent desperation and panic.
What I felt at my core while looking in his eyes was the sense that he was calling out to me to save him. But here’s the thing: I didn’t know how.
Fact is, I had never learned a core set of fundamental life-saving skills that we all should know as parents, but the reality is, most parents simply do not know any of them. I certainly didn’t… but I decided to make it my mission to change that as parents need to be prepared for the unexpected—because our children deserve it!
