Scott began walking in the holistic healing world when his wife of 39 years died after a 20-year battle with breast cancer. After years of caregiving for his daughter and wife, the world of coaching, healing, and energy opened. His soul journey has been to help heal others through one-on-one sessions, teaching, and volunteering with a local hospice. I grew up with two older brothers and incredible parents who taught me the value of hard work from a young age. I’ve been self-employed for most of my life, and I’ve always loved the hustle of running a business—looking ahead, setting goals, and achieving them.

My path to becoming a mortgage broker is a longer story, but the short version is this: I’ve always been drawn to real estate, and in my other businesses I genuinely enjoyed the numbers side—keeping the books in the black and making sure things ran efficiently. Over time, I realized that mortgage brokering combined my love for real estate, numbers, and helping people reach their goals. After raising my 3 beautiful sons, I returned to university to finish my bachelor’s and then master’s degree in School Psychology. I then worked in schools for a few years and later decided to attend a weekend training to become a life coach. Walking out of the training, I had this inspirational thought: “I’m a parent coach!” Since this was in 2000, there were no other parent coaches, so I set out to create the role. I’ve now certified over 850 parent coaches worldwide, and also helped a treatment foster care organization to build a team of 24 parent coaches to help kids stay put in their homes instead of being moved from home to home because of their behavior. They’ve been highly successful while using my Present Moment Parenting methods. I wrote a book by the same title, and also the “Healing the Heart of Your Traumatized Child” e-book. My TEDx Talk is “How to Stop Kids’ Meltdowns and Gain Their Cooperation.”

There was a time when I felt small and insignificant. A total misfit and failure because I didn’t measure up to society’s ‘norm.’ I had no value and had nothing of value to offer. Today I feel liberated – empowered and able to be authentic because I know and appreciate my innate value which I use to add value for the greater good.

I do this by empowering others to let go of rules, regulations and roles that society uses to define our value; guiding them to discover their True North and how to cultivate the conditions for their soul, heart, mind and body to thrive.

A brief narrative of where you started, how you arrived at your current work, and who you are behind the profession.

My journey evolved organically, each experience building on the next instalment. I’ve worked in a number of industries – social welfare, law, hospitality, advertising, marketing, media – newsroom assistant for live nightly programme and won the franchise for the first radio station on the Isle of Wight in 1990.

Started studying child development with the Open University in the UK because I wanted to understand my own children who were 3 and 1 at the time. It ignited a dormant curiosity to learn and I ended up studying for 6 years, gaining a Batchelor of Science Honours Degree in Psychology in 2003 – all while juggling 3 jobs and bringing up two children. I continued feeding my soul, studying quantum science, human ecology, energy psychology, ontology, philosophy, epigenetics, psychoneuroimmunology and the environment.

I’ve trained as an Equine Assisted Learning facilitator and level 2 Reiki practitioner. I’m fascinated in sacred geometry and feng shui and have used the principles to design and build my tiny home in 2024.

I walked 280km along the Camino coastal path between Portugal and Spain last year with my brother.

I’m an eco warrior and thalasophile (ocean lover). My GGG Grandfather, Sir James Clark Ross discovered the North magnetic pole in 1831 and the Ross Sea region in Antarctica in 1841. I was involved with international campaign to get marine protection for the Ross Sea for 4 years which finally succeeded in 2016. I visited Antarctica for the first time in 2016 and going again in January 2026.
