Performing, it is an art, a gift, a skill, but it is also a thing of courage. Putting your self out there for all to see is something that requires a great deal of faith in who we are and in our gift and what we stand for. How much channelling is done in order to bring such artistry to the stage and is that we call channelling our gift into being? Sara Troy

We see famous actors and actresses channeling the role they are stepping into, and we award and praise these talented individuals for their unique ability to “step into” that role. This type of channeling requires total nudity of self, total relinquishment of ego self, and fierce courage to be “seen”. The performance turns into “be-ing-ness”, and is a spiritual practice that we can all embody in our daily channeling and meditations. We can channel and “be” a dolphin, a puppy, our Higher Self, or even a song we love! Christina Hill.

One has to channel all energy into what one loves. If that is done and one is prepared, one’s natural gift will show itself.

I have had the opportunity to live a varied life and to have achieved in multiple areas. I’ve been told I’m lucky and I firmly believe that there’s no such thing as luck. I believe in staying disciplined, staying focused and staying prepared for when that opportunity arises. At my age, I have realized that I wasn’t necessarily a gifted swimmer, or a gifted gymnast or a gifted dancer or a gifted actor. I have realized that my actual gift is discipline, focus, training and preparation. By channeling my gift I have found a certain measure of success in my life. Cliff Simon.

On any given day, nearly 437,500 youth in the foster care system in the United States. Of the thousands of youth who enter the system each year, most arrive carrying little more than the clothes on their backs. If they are afforded the opportunity to collect any personal belongings, many are then given a trash bag in which to place and carry their personal items. It is a time of great upheaval and instability, and their first foster home placement is unlikely to be their last. Many youths in foster care will be moved from home to home multiple times, carrying their life’s treasures in a trash bag. At Comfort Cases, we believe that every child deserves to feel a sense of dignity. Every child deserves to pack their belongings in a special bag that they can call their own. It is our mission as a charity to provide a proper bag, filled with comfort and essential items, to these brave youth in foster care on their journey to find them forever home.

Every child deserves to know that they matter. When Comfort Cases provides a case to a child in need, we not only offer them new items that they can keep during their journey, we also provide them with dignity and the notion that someone cares about what they are going through.

We have now reached youth in foster care in 34 states, DC, Puerto Rico, and Canada. We have distributed over 30,000 Cases. We are so excited by the progress, but also remain steadfastly focused on all the kids we haven’t reached yet. With nearly half a million kids in care in the US, the need is great, and we have lots of work to do! Our goal is to put a Comfort Case in the hands of all of the kids in care.

Terra Floor Plans is a digital floor plan company working to address the housing crisis with its innovative multi-family building design to address the lack of rental units available on the market.

Young entrepreneur Christopher Bauer wants to help solve Victoria’s housing crisis.

The 27-year-old draftsman launched Terra Floor Plans in March 2017, a company that sells cost-effective digital layouts for homes.

Although he has yet to see one of his plans transformed into a bricks-and-mortar building, he is dedicated to his mission. “I’m trying to address the rental shortage side of the housing crisis,” said Bauer, who is focusing on designing multi-family residential dwellings. MORE HERE

Christopher Bauer started his first company in 2014 after going to post-secondary school till 2013. During that time he got a Drafting Certificate, a Diploma in Arts and Social Science, a Diploma in Collision and Refinishing, and an associates degree in Business. Terra Floor Plans was founded in March of 2017 with single-family floor plans which are available on the website for homeowners to buy or builders. In the fall of 2017, after speaking to Lisa Helps and Shayne Ramsay (Ceo of BC housing), Terra Floor Plans came up with our innovative multi-family design which can work for any town or city anywhere in North America, Europe, and Australia. It is unique as it can be built from a two-story with 6 units to a 10-story with 54 units and has co-housing built into the design.

Charles Eduardos is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and an ordained minister with 40+ years of experience in pastoral and evangelistic ministry. He is Pastor at All Saints Lutheran Church in Olmsted Falls, and also serves on the Advisory Board of Cleveland Clinic’s CPE Program and Chaplain for the Olmsted Township Police Department. He is an experienced Executive/Corporate Coach, trainer/facilitator (Registered Corporate Coach with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches) Certified Hypnotherapist and Certified NLP Master Practitioner who has worked with organizations (profit and non- profit) to support them in identifying and tackling their challenges. Charles is an attentive listener, who gives a different perspective to perceived barriers.

Charles has attended Cuyahoga Community College (major in LE), Cleveland State University (major in psychology), Trinity Lutheran Seminary, and is currently completing his Doctorate of Ministry.
