Bolstered by history and backed by the Bible, Work Hard, Pray Hard explores seven steps that will put the true power of faith into action, in your life, every day. God is there to give hope to those who need it, peace to those who seek it, and fearlessness to those who desire it. History shows us proof of this all the time—moments when the un-healable are healed and the unwinnable is won. How is that possible? Work Hard, Pray Hard explains by sharing Lynch’s lessons from the course of a lifetime in one, easy to read book—a book that he hopes will change your life for the better, the way faith itself changed him.

Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Rick Lynch has commanded at all levels of the Army, from companies of 100 soldiers to corps of 65,000 soldiers, to the commander of all U.S. Army installations—120,000 civilian employees and soldiers worldwide. He spent more than thirty months in Iraq after 9/11, including fifteen months as one of the leaders of the Surge in 2007. A West Point graduate, he also served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Kosovo. After his baptism at the age of 32 and continuing throughout his career—including during combat operations—Rick made it his mission to provide spiritual leadership to those under his command who sought a closer relationship with God. Today, Rick continues his dedication to spiritual leadership through speaking engagements at churches, businesses, and leadership conferences all over the country. He is the author of Adapt or Die. When he’s not on the road, Rick can be found spending time on his ranch in Texas with his wife of thirty-three years, Sarah.

TSM 17-17 MASCULINITY ANALYSIS: with Dr. Dathan Paterno

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Dr. Dathan Paterno, on air from April 25TH

CAN YOU FIND REAL MEN IN HIGH SCHOOLS?
CAN YOU FIND REAL MEN ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES?

We have a great guest who is appalled by these growing trends on our college campuses. Dr. Dathan Paterno, a practising clinical psychologist and leading author on the subject of the “Alpha Male”, can provide insight into the thought process behind this outrageous pandering to leftest ideals:
MASCULINITY ANALYSIS: Dr. Dathan Paterno, is a Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Director at Park Ridge Psychological Services in Illinois, and leading author of the book Desperately Seeking Parents.

We are wondering if you have seen any of these stories about liberal run universities’ attacks on both masculinity and century old traditions:

University of Wisconsin’s class of Male students to undergo ‘critical self- reflection of masculinity Millennials lack basic survival skills…
Millennials most narcissistic generation ever…                                                                             SURVEY: Millenials Using Sex Before First Date As ‘Interview’…                                                               Wall St Millennials Living Fast and Hard… Take Meth, Compulsively Pay for Sex…
First, it was the University of Wisconsin’s class for male students designed to teach them a “critical self- reflection of masculinity”, and now its sister school, the University of Minnesota, does away with the tradition of crowning a homecoming king and queen instead favouring “Gender Neutral Royals”.

TSM 17-16 “Living My Illusion” with Joel Van der Molen

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Joel Van der Molen, on air from April 18th

Living My Illusion

Joel says “Like most people, I too have been a victim of living in an Instagram/Facebook world and have become very good at wearing masks to hide the pain. I take a selfie and say, look at me, I’m successful, my life is amazing and I have it all together, when inside I’m anxious, stressed, depressed and lonely.

In this interview with Sara Troy on SELF Discovery Radio , I share my journey working with the world renowned Life Coach and Human behaviour expert Tony J Selimi and how it ignited the idea to co-create the documentary series Living My Illusion.

It was not an easy thing to do, in fact, it was the hardest and most challenging thing to go through periods in my life where I had to address thoughts and feelings that deep down I was afraid to acknowledge.

Many people have grown up in a world where we suppress our truth and live our lives according to other people’s values and expectations, whether they are parents, society, culture or religion. I trust by sharing my personal story it becomes a lesson for millions of people to self-reflect, addresses their fears and awakens their true authentic being.

In today’s fast-paced, demanding, and the technologically driven world it is easy to move with the crowd and create our lives based on what everyone else is doing, and what we are told to do. We are programmed from birth about how the world is and what we have to do to fit in.

We learn to suppress our inner truth, voice, and heart desires in order to seek the approval from those we love, be accepted and feel worthy. It is this change in our way of thinking, feeling and behaving that brings us out of our natural state of inner balance, creates disease and drives the segregation we experience worldwide.

Recognising from a young age that something doesn’t feel right about his way of being, but unable to express it, Joel Van der Molen sought the help of Tony J. Selimi, the world renowned human behaviour and cognition expert known as The See-Through Coach to address the nagging feeling deep down which he could no longer ignore.”

Tony and Joel

Joel’s mission is to use his creative abilities to move people into action through making inspiring films and documentaries that are emotionally engaging, mind illuminating, and heart awakening.

Today we will be talking to him about a new documentary series titled Living My Illusion, created to help people ask questions about their own reality and not be afraid to honour their truth and trust their inner knowing. In part 1, Joel turns the camera on himself, looking at the decisions and choices he has made based on social conditioning, fulfilling other people’s values and expectations of him, and how his life coaching journey, with world renowned human behaviour & cognition expert, Tony J. Selimi, helped him to get beneath the surface of his own lies and live his truth without fear of what others may think of him.

TSM17-14 Understanding Fibromyalgia with Dr Ric Arseneau

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Dr Ric Arseneau, on air from April 4th

What is Fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia (FM) was recognized as a true syndrome by the American College of Rheumatology in 1990. FM is thought to exist in 2% to 3% of the population. It occurs in both men and women and women are affected 6 to 9 times more often than men. In women, FMoccurs most commonly between the ages of 30 to 60.  FM can also affect teenagers, children, and the elderly. FM has no known cause. Current research into how the nervous system deals with pain has shown that various abnormalities are present in people who have FM.

Other studies have indicated that genetic (inherited) factors may predispose some individuals to develop FM. These genetic factors can affect how the body responds to pain, physical or emotional trauma, and illnesses (such as viral infections).

This work is at the research stage and not yet available for doctors to help diagnose patients with FM in their offices. But this knowledge can be helpful in the management of FM.
