Author: Steven Dillon has been writing philosophical treatises for over five years, spending time in a Roman Catholic seminary where he majored in philosophy. He works as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a nursing home, and lives with his wife in South Dakota.
I’m the second oldest in a large, Catholic family; and spent much of my childhood moving between the States and Germany due to my father’s service in the Army. I now live with my beautiful wife in a small town in South Dakota where I work as a C.N.A. at a nursing home. I’ve always taken a keen interest in studying philosophy and religion. I entered seminary after high school and studied to be a Catholic priest, majoring in philosophy on campus. But, after continual exposure to scholarly critiques of Catholicism and Christianity, I became disenchanted with both of them and left everything behind for the time to soul search and research. Long story short, I ended up finding Paganism to be true, good and beautiful, and have been Pagan ever since. I’ve taken my love of philosophy with me over the years, and it’s inspired me to write about my developing perspectives. The Case for Polytheism will be my debut publication, being released on Feb 27th; and highlights what is for me the most interesting area of philosophy: the philosophy of religion. My work focuses on synthesizing Aristotle’s school of thought with Pagan ideas such as Polytheism and Reincarnation.
