Knowlie is a free site (soon to be app) designed with the user in mind. Our mission is to provide accessible, customizable, and engaging wellness content to users in an app that is anonymous and free. We believe wellness is in the eye of the beholder, so Knowlie is open to conventional wellness techniques like mindfulness and meditation, and less conventional methods like sound healing, Chinese medicine wilderness therapy, and much more. We want users to find what words, to find passion and purpose however they see fit. We believe the best person to control your wellness is you.
I’m a father, husband, and passionate creator. I grew up in a small Massachusetts town and spent a lot of time outside and playing sports as a kid although I wasn’t very good. I’ve always been my weird self and known as a mellow kid who’s always joking. I went to the university of New Haven for a year after high school but dropped out after 2 semesters after dealing with deep depression, paranoia, and mood swings. I was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder and spent what I call a sick kids gap year trying to write several novels, drinking heavily, sometimes avoiding public situations for weeks on end and sometimes contemplating big life changing moves. I spent the next few years unmedicated and self medicated openly struggling with bipolar disorder. I started dating my wife who suffered from a severe eating disorder and stood by me while I struggled through my own mental illness. I have a 1 year old son named Nohl (Nohlie) a cat named ozzy, and a daughter on the way named Leala Bowie, I love to paint, write, listen to music, hike and cook.

Ignite Your Heart and Soul with Sara Troy and her guests Dave and Carla, on air fromAugust 30th
We never got the Manual…Did you?
Here we reveal the Twelve faces of man created by God, along with:
Sacred Geometry,
Astrological Signs,
Traits,
Archetypes,
Angels, Spirit Guides&Elementals
??How are we created?
How are our astrological signs determined from life to life by our karma?
How does God help us overcome our karma through astrological signs, traits and archetypes?
Does our individual angel relate to our astrological sign and karma?
Doppelganger or Pod-mate?
Famous people from history are used as examples as well as one of our past-life stories to illustrate our carefully created lives.
How does our free-will come into play?
WE ARE NEVER ALONE.
The concepts in this book are intertwined; that is with karma, your astrological sign, your trait, your archetype … and are all significantly intertwined throughout this book. It requires self-evaluation and reading this perhaps like a manual rather than a novel. Just remember, this book isn’t simple but our lives aren’t either.
Carla has said her whole life, I never got “The Manuel”. So with the help of our spirit guides, angels and God we wrote one. How are we created and how is our next life planned? Carla and Dave have shared 29 lives together. Love is always the answer.
Dave and Carla are like-minded souls. They have been close friends since 1998. The two have a spiritual kinship that has taken them through 29 past lives together.
The story they tell in The Gift of Past Lives with Mother, Isabella, God, and Elizabeth aims to liberate people from the traps of conceit, jealousy, and selfishness and choose love in all actions.
Dave and Carla have been close friends since 1998. Feeling a deeper, spiritual kinship for each other. Dave and Carla had spontaneous memories of 29 past lives together while meditating. They went on to get past life regression training with Dr. Brian Weiss. Now Dave and Carla spread the message of love and kindness and teach holistic approaches to healing. They teach meditation at their local university and senior centers. Dr Dave was a Registered Nurse for 10 years before returning to medical school. He recently retired from his private practice. Dr. Dave now serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at a small midwestern Hospital. Carla recently retired as his office manager. They now share their message together. The gift of past lives and love is the answer.
David Bettenhausen Dr. Dave serves as the vice president of medical affairs at a small Midwestern hospital. Whether he is at the hospital or his private practice, he daily coaches his patients about their well-being mentally, physically, and spiritually. He believes in a holistic approach to life and regularly lectures and conducts discussions with groups of patients and physicians on healthcare. He has a personal interest in the stages of grief with death, dying, and spirituality. Before he entered medical school, Dave practiced as a registered nurse for ten years.
After years in private practice as a physician in Ohio, Dr. Dave was approaching personal burnout. He had always valued being a positive example to his patients, and as his life became less joyful, he felt he was no longer doing that. He had weight issues, and his life was spiraling downward. Carla, as his office manager and friend was the vessel that carried Dave to meditation and the ultimate healing of himself. Meditation led both of them to an encounter with a set of wise spiritual beings known as Mother, Isabella, God and Elizabeth, which revealed many past lives to Dave and Carla. Through the insights Dave received during meditation, he underwent a personal transformation and regained his sense of self, which led to a weight loss of 116 pounds. He again found his joy in practicing medicine and with his patients.
Carla Bogni-Kidd Carla Bogni-Kidd has been on a lifelong journey of spirituality, always seeking her purpose and very often serving as a vessel for others’ journeys. The theme running through her life has been to help others—that is where she feels the happiest.
Carla is quite comfortable speaking with people about their innermost feelings and challenges. Her closest friends have often referred to her as their personal counselor.

Mental Health Awareness with Sara Troy and her guest David Richman, on air from August 2nd.
Expressive writing, from journaling to structured creative writing, can be extremely therapeutic. Health outcomes include fewer doctor visits, improved organ function, and reduced depression. In an expressive writer’s daily life there are fewer sick days, focus on tasks is enhanced, and interpersonal interaction improves. Once learned, expressive writing opens the door to explore the emotional aspects of one’s traumas, leading to increased emotional health. My expressive writing workshops are led in a guided, personal manner, providing participants a safe and immersive space where they can explore their musings, reflections, and emotions. The process creates a foundation for participants to continue their expressive writing journeys long after the workshops have ended.
BENEFITS TO PARTICIPANTS AND ORGANIZATIONS Expressive writing workshops deepen the relationship between participants and sponsoring organizations. As a result of the improved mental, physical, and emotional health, gratified participants and their supporters will help organizations grow their donor and referral base. THEMES With a goal of showing the traumatized how to examine the suppressed emotional aspects of their experience, this program’s design empowers a transformative and long-term healing process. Traumatized populations include cancer patients, survivors, loved-ones, and caregivers, as well as those in communities that have experienced physical or emotional abuse, including combat-related trauma, sexual assault, childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, and their loved ones and caregivers, and, importantly, the practitioners who serve those communities.
David has been leading very moving and transformative Expressive Writing Workshops geared towards people affected by all manner of trauma. He combines traditional expressive writing techniques with elements of both narrative and creative writing so that the participants will be well-equipped to continue their expressive writing practices well beyond the workshops. Mental health is such an important topic and David brings his passion, skills, and unique approach to help people connect with their emotions in a whole new way and begin a healing journey.
David was born in Miami and raised mostly in the Los Angeles area. He and his wife split their time between homes in Southern California and Southern Nevada. He has worked in real estate, lending, construction, started both an animation company and a skincare company, and then went into financial services. He has college-aged twins who are as aspirational as their father. After losing his sister to brain cancer, David has organized a yearly fundraiser in her memory, the most recent being the impetus for his upcoming book, Cycle of Lives – 15 People’s Stories, 5,000 Miles, and a Journey Through the Emotional Chaos of Cancer.
