CHASING HEAVEN – THE EXTRAORDINARY STORY ABOUT PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION AFTER VISITING HEAVEN.

On December 10, 2009, Crystal McVea was being treated in a hospital for pancreatitis. Her heart stopped pumping for nine minutes before doctors managed to revive her. In those nine minutes, she went to heaven, stood with God, and was forever changed.

Ever since Crystal’s incredible experience, her life has been profoundly different. She has become a brand new person in every conceivable way—heart, mind, soul, and spirit. By dying, Crystal learned how to live. Crystal realized that heaven is real and our true home, but we are still meant to have meaningful lives full of passion and purpose right here on earth. She believes we have to chase heaven while we are still alive and allow God to turn our lukewarm love into a fire-storm of faith. Chasing Heaven is the story of how God called to Crystal, what He told her, and how she found a way to get closer to Him again here on earth.

Crystal assures us that we don’t have to die and go to heaven in order to ignite our faith. We also don’t have to abandon the lives we have in order to experience God and heaven. Chasing Heaven is about following the path to the Lord, and discovering your spiritual destiny.

The journey that followed Crystal’s time in heaven has been difficult, complicated, and surprising—full of twists and turns, setbacks and triumphs, drama and comedy, and everything that makes life so messy and beautiful.

The Fight For Free Speech with C.J.SAILOR

46cbf92a-b4ad-4e1d-a88c-6f6b30cc8fb8

Early Screening of “Can We Take a Joke?” and Activist Events

On Freedom Day, April 13th, Young Americans for Liberty launched the Fought for the Free Speech campaign, a national movement committed to ending unconstitutional speech codes and combating threats to Free Speech on college and university campuses, by hosting more than 340 coordinated events nationwide.

Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is the largest, most active, and fastest-growing pro-liberty organization on America’s college campuses.  With more than 600 YAL chapters and 204,000 youth activists nationwide, YAL seeks to identify, educate, train, and mobilize young people committed to winning on principle. This is not a new beginning but a continuation of a youth movement already brewing in this country. Our objective is to facilitate its success.

C.J. Sailor, YAL’s Director of Free Speech said of the program, “College campuses are under threat from authoritarian voices that only look to stomp out ideas and viewpoints. Our Fight for Free Speech campaign is the largest coordinated attempt to combat these threats and encourage the healthy, free flow of ideas.”

The Fight for Free Speech campaign will ran from April 13th through April 20th. During that time there was be more than 340 events in all 50 states. At these events, YAL chapters hosted a sneak-peek screenings of Can We Take a Joke?, starring comedians Adam Carolla, Lisa Lampanelli, Gilbert Gottfried, and Penn Jillette. The film is set to release later this year. Campuses include Clemson University, University of California – Berkeley, Auburn University, Morehouse College, University of Georgia, Temple University, Ithaca College, American University, Rutgers University, University of Pennsylvania, and many more.

The film gained distribution this month from Samuel Goldwyn Films, the production house behind The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and other recent hit productions. Recently news about the documentary has been featured in Reason Magazine, The Interrobang, Variety, and the Federalist. The Federalist titled their piece on the film, “Go Watch Can We Take A Joke?” and called it, “Required viewing by everyone in this country.” It premiered to a sold-out crowd in November at the IFC Center in New York and has since been featured at several film festivals including the Sun Valley Film Festival.

Along with organizing screenings of Can We Take a Joke?, YAL chapters are strategically reforming campus policies across the country to respect Free Speech rights. Dozens of reforms are occurring right now in coordination with legal groups, like the Foundation for Individual Rights and Education (FIRE).

YAL was founded in 2008 by former Ron Paul Youth Coordinator Jeff Frazee. It has grown from 96 chapters in 2009 to more than 650 chapters and 257,000 activists on American universities today. Their mission is to “identify, educate, train, and mobilize youth activists committed to ‘winning on principle.’” During an election season where more young people than ever are beginning to vote, YAL hopes to educate students about the vital principles of liberty so that we can elect leaders focused on principle over popularity. YAL hopes to continue their growth and bring their message of Free Speech to more students.

YAL encourages education through its chapters and website. To start a chapter, request information kits for an event at your campus, or to learn more about YAL and its activism across the country.

A Dream Long Dreamt 04/26 by Sara Troy | Motivation Podcasts

Over the years I have dreamt of creating certain things, now closer to a possibility of making it happen, I am looking at the collective picture to make happen, come hear my dreams and see if you want to be a part of them. I believe if we bring the business world and the wellness world together in ethical, dignified, respectful and enlightened collaboration, we would unit the good vibrations this world needs to move forward into global well-being productivity. Back in 2001 when I stated The Art of Positive Living, I desired a large old house that would provide holistic services for those willing to embrace a new path to wellness. In this house was an aromatherapy room, a massage room, a yoga room, an acupuncture room, an intuitive room, an inferred sauna room, a child care room for parents, a social guidance therapy room, and a juice bar with healthy snacks room. It would have been a membership and would have allowed 20% of its participant’s free to allow access to people like Mums, Dads, care givers and homeless who need it and can’t afford it. A dream not yet realized but still obtainable. More on https://selfdiscoverywisdom.com

TSM16/17 Are Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia one and the same?

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Ann Bird aired from April 26th

Statistic 1 in 20 over 65 affected by dementia over 80 1 in 5 affected

people-living-with-dementia-globally

Many people use the words “dementia” and “Alzheimer’s disease” interchangeably. However, they are not the same thing. A person can have a form of dementia that is completely unrelated to Alzheimer’s disease.

The term Dementia does not refer to a specific disease, instead it describes a group of symptoms which affect memory, thinking and social abilities severely enough to interfere with daily functioning. It includes memory loss, personality change and impaired intellectual functions resulting from disease or trauma to the brain.

Dementia is progressive and can arise from many different causes which will all involve loss of memory, but they have other symptoms which are different depending on the cause.

HAVE YOU EVER FORGOTTEN ANYTHING?

HAVE YOU EVER FORGOTTEN ANYTHING SO SERIOUS THAT IT CAUSED YOU TO WORRY?

ARE YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW PLAGUED BY FORGETFULNESS?

My name is Ann-Noreen Bird, of Global Dementia Care and I am a dementia care expert. Over the last 24 years, I have been a ward nurse, a community nurse, a turnaround specialist Nurse, a practice development nurse, manager, teacher, trainer, educator, nurse advisor and Lead nurse of a Borough, all in the field of mental health of the older persons.

With ageing populations across the globe, the number of people living with dementia is set to rise worldwide, so now is the time to take action!

AAEAAQAAAAAAAAl2AAAAJGFjZmI5ZGE0LWE0MTAtNDhhMi04NmZjLTMwMzExOTg1ODViZQI teach people to recognize, cope and embrace dementia so they can help those living with the disease to live dignified lives.”

My mission is to inform, educate, empower people globally to recognize and understand dementia so they can appropriately care for those living with the condition.

Despite our developed understanding of dementia, there is still more work to be done. Presently approximately only 10% of people receive a diagnosis of dementia in developing countries, which puts an enormous strain on families and communities to care for those affected.

Through education, discussion and raising awareness I hope my contribution will diminish the stigmas surrounding dementia and enable those in need to be treated and cared for effectively and with the dignity they deserve.
