S15/20 The Foundation Of Respect

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Dawn Marie Westmoreland aired from May 19th on.

Dawn Marie Westmoreland author of The Empowered Whistleblower: A Practical and Spiritual Path to Personal Power, prompted the need for a foundation for women being bullied in their workplace.

The Foundation of Respect is a non-profit organisation established by Dawn to help empower women who are being bullied in the workplace. The Foundation of Respect offers women the ability to seek guidance through coaching, speaking engagements, on-line training, and free tips. The Foundation of Respect also offers women the ability to recover and to step into their personal power, feeling more confident and empowered. Dawn is constantly sought out by media to discuss the mission and underlying story of The Foundation of Respect.

11265423_762914530492103_8928654530032823575_nDawn Marie Westmoreland is a speaker, writer, “breakthrough” coach, and hypnotherapist.

She used to be a former leader in hiding! She used to hide from being her greatest self. Why? Dawn was scared of her power and was afraid of failure. She was also disappointing a lot of people because she was not living in her zone of genius, but the hardest critic was herself. After many struggles and lessons, she learned how to achieve everything she set out to do that is alignment with her goals and values. Dawn took her past challenges and made them into triumphs. After working 25 years in the government, she took the initiative and left an unfulfilling career to now help empower professional women who are struggling to get through their “blocks” and realising their zone of genius.

Lili Dion is an early 30’s food activist, animal activist, and mother to a 6-month-old son. She had been organizing the March Against Monsanto in Vancouver since the fall of 2013 with the aim of changing the event’s tone from a protest to a family-friendly educational event.

If you don’t know what Monsanto is, watch this movie. If you don’t know what GMO stands for, look at the film. If you have a health condition(like colitis, gastrointestinal, extreme food allergies, etc.) with unanswered questions, watch this movie. Find out how Agent Orange and your food supply have something in common.

Be a part of the solution, not the problem.

Teresa Lynne:

Speech-TLynne

Teresa Lynne is a mother and grandmother with a passion for ensuring a healthy, sustainable food system for generations to come. She is a marketing and communications professional, campaign strategist, and a Certified Life Coach and Wellness Counselor.

After watching the film ‘Future of Food’ eight years ago, Teresa got curious and started researching genetically engineered foods (GE or GMOs). Soon she concluded that our food system is in danger – that GMOs and their associated pesticides were harming the environment and all of life.

Since then, she has been volunteering with GE Free BC, a grassroots non-profit society which supports non-GMO, sustainable agriculture. A few years later she started a GE free group in her community, the Tri-Cities. Teresa liaises with other groups and organizations across Canada on campaigns.

Current campaigns: Stop the GM Apple campaign, GE Free zones in BC, GMO Enquiry 2015 (with Canadian Biotechnology Action Network, CBAN)

TSM P14/28b Veterans Regain their Dignity and Purpose in life

Originally Aired on July 15th, 2014 on Positive Living Vibrations Roundtable with Sara Troy and her guests Kathy Gambill and Colonel John Pettit

VNF9-vi

The dignity of a veteran should always be honoured for their service to their country. So why are so many coming home to nothing? We should not just celebrate them for dying for their country, but be there for them now in rebuilding their lives. They are shattered, they have had to do things that no man or woman should have to do, they are suffering from post-traumatic syndrome and many are unable to work. They are not the same people they were when they left, how can they be? they need help and support more than ever in that they can find dignity, meaning, and purpose once again in their lives.

Today we talk about the stress and anxiety and depression and what is being done to help the veterans to find a prosperous life again. Kathy Gambill and Colonel John Pettit are helping their soldiers regain their dignity and sanity with support and a nutrient called Q96. I have used this myself and know in how it helps, and if we can help the veterans around the world regain their lives, then let us find a way to do it.

Kathy Gambill

My background with the military goes back to 2006 thru 2010 When I was elected   President of the “Everett Navy League”. This was not a paid position, but truly a labour of Love.  Fundraising in the community and a very generous group of businessmen and women afforded me to supply our Navy families, with much-needed support.

kathy

My latest involvement with the Military is very exciting, but a much different path.  A little over a year ago I was introduced to a Micronutrient that was helping restore tens of thousands of people’s lives who suffer from everything from mild and severe stress and depression to ADHD and many other brain disorders.  The 25 clinical studies were very impressive, and the people I shared the product with were getting better.  One of the people I was introduced to, who was desperately looking for help, happened to be COL Pettit’s daughter in law who was suffering from a severe case of Anxiety and also depression.   I worked with her over approximately a 3 week period.  COL Pettit was taking notice of her amazing recovery and that is when I was introduced to John.   Little did I know that this was the beginning of a new and exciting project to help our Veterans overcome the challenges and the debilitating effects of what COL Pettit calls mind wounds.  And our new project began. We have been working with active duty and veterans who are suffering the effects of long tours of combat duty, past and present.

0021 From Roses to Thorns, Overcoming Domestic abuse

Originally Aired on: 07-23-2013 on Positive Living Vibrations with Sara Troy and her guest  Maxine Browne.

Domestic Violence has to stop and if we know the signs we can avoid the pitfalls.

Introducing Maxine Browne on surviving spousal abuse and how she finds love again when she found love in self.

FROM ROSES TO THORNS, OVERCOMING DOMESTIC ABUSE66731_449707641766708_431696576_n

Maxine Browne is the author of Years of Tears and an inspirational speaker on the topic of domestic violence. She has dedicated her life to increase understanding of domestic abuse and how to enjoy healthier relationships. In her workshops, Maxine brings you into the world of an abuse victim and describes how an abuser takes control. She describes why people stay in abusive relationships. She also tells stories of abuse and recovery that will inspire you to press past your present circumstances to create the life you want for your family.

Years of Tears

maxine-browneMaxine Browne’s first marriage was volatile. Her playboy husband became a drug addict, selling cocaine to support his habit. After six crazy years, she divorced him.

Then, one failed marriage and two kids later, Maxine met a minister who she thought was the answer to her prayers. Instead, he turned out to be her worst nightmare. He was a controlling tyrant.

He cut her off from her friends and family, including her children. He took control of every aspect of her life…the mail, the phone, transportation and money, to name a few. By the end of 10 years, there was nothing left for Maxine to lose but her life. Years of Tears shares her family’s story of this life-shattering experience, her courageous escape and their journey of recovery.
