“for the LOVE of Music” with Sara Troy and her guest Celeste Walmsley, on air from Janaury 13th
Light Your Path: A Song of Self-Discovery
Celeste has created a song for Self Discovery Wisdom that beautifully captures the essence of the journey inward. With an angelic voice and uplifting, joyful tones, she reminds us that self-discovery begins with listening, learning, and allowing inspiration to guide us. Her music reflects the wisdom shared through lived experience—encouraging each of us to find our own path and, in doing so, become a light for others. It is both a gentle invitation and a joyful celebration, calling us to move, to feel, and to dance together as we illuminate our way forward.
Singer, songwriter, and performer; Celeste’s unique range of vocal style, from soothing love songs to powerhouse ballads, clearly sets her apart. She has been coined “The Voice” for good reason. In 2005, is where Celeste started to really shine in her musical career. She entered 5 consecutive contests, taking 1st place in every one, including being named Port Moody’s Golden Spike Days Idol. Her win at the French Quarter Pub in Coquitlam led to performing at the Merritt Mountain Country Festival, the Hyack Festival in New Westminster, and the Show & Shine Car Show. For several years afterwards, she had the opportunity to perform at the PNE and closing the Pride Parade Event of Picnic in the Park. She won the Ultimate Vocalist Contest which granted her a spot on TV on Urban Rush and her winning video performance onYou Tube. We wrapped up her performance years with the Cloverdale Rodeo and the Merritt Mountain Country Festival one last time. Celeste dabbled in film composition co-creating the soundtrack for ‘Chinese Winter’ and was brought into the studio for several artists to record background vocals. She also helped create the Artist Development department at Harte Music Productions & managed the band, Darker The Sky, and set them up to record their 1st EP with Harte Music Productions. For a couple years now, she has made her main focus songwriting. She is working towards getting songs published by other artists, businesses and used in film and TV. She currently has her music used in Podcasts (Self Discovery Wisdom), Award Shows (WIN – Women of Influence Awards), & considered for Plays (Pivot).
For people wanting a song to commemorate a friend or family member that has passed on, she has also crafted several memorable songs for those occasions.

Do Your Brand and Website Speak To Those You Serve, Or Is It All About You?
These days we hear a lot of talk about authenticity. It’s a cornerstone of trust. Of the big three, “know, like, and trust,” trust is the most important. Without it, the others don’t matter. What about your website? Do you come across authentically, but even more importantly, is it aimed at those you serve, rather than being all about yourself?
Hank Eder began his career as a news reporter, and over nearly five decades gained experience in graphics design, advertising, marketing and public relations. When he approached 40, he wanted to “give back,” and spent 13 years teaching print and broadcast journalism in public schools both in South Florida and North Carolina. When he left the school system, he went back to his roots and started his current “incarnation” in 2011. Having worn all the hats over the years, he now is chief instigator at Hank Eder Branding, Marketing, and Web Design, a “one-stop shop,” specializing in customer-driven branded content writing to demonstrate clearly how you serve your target audience with authenticity.
Ignite Your Heart and Soul with Sara Troy and her guest Ross Tayler, on air from January 6th
As an adult trying to make sense of my past, my Dad was asked what I was like as a child. He told me I was sensitive. That one simple truth clarified both why I struggled to fit into a world that felt so intense and why the path of being in service to others was chosen. Discovering life coaching sparked a passion to help people learn about themselves. My lived experiences transformed into wisdom which can support others to learn to trust their own nature and create meaningful change. Witnessing the amazing shifts that people make in their lives is deeply satisfying.
A career as a manager in the food service industry for 27 years became my first conscious classroom for understanding the human experience. Since discovering life coaching in 2006, work that is truly aligned with my purpose, I pivoted and have been supporting others both individually and in groups.
I help empaths and sensitive souls stop people pleasing, find their voice and feel confidence in their relationships. I value connection, sharing lived wisdom and facilitating spaces where people can show up as their true selves, heal and learn to thrive.

Authors Kiss with Sara Troy and her guest James Sulzer, on air from January 6th
All That Smolders is a New Murder Mystery Focuses on the Search for Redemption on a New England Island with a Buried Secret.
A past he can’t escape. A secret that won’t stay buried. A murder that changes everything. It’s 1980, a time of peace and tranquility on a legendary island off the coast of New England. Inhabiting the island is a vibrant cast of locals that includes scallopers, tradespeople, and a mysterious recluse -the wealthiest man in Massachusetts. But that peace is shattered by the murder of a prominent lawyer, a pillar of the community.
After writing two literary novels inspired by Emily Dickinson and John Keats, he turned to the mystery genre with All That Smolders, a shift that invited new creative challenges and preparation. Set on a small New England island, the story is deeply informed by his family’s more than forty years of living on Nantucket, where the rhythms, isolation, and intimacy of island life naturally lend themselves to mystery. His protagonist, Peter Christie, is given a compelling backstory as a distant relative of Agatha Christie, creating subtle parallels between Peter’s life and that of the famed author. Scalloping plays a central role in the novel—not only as a community tradition and industry, but also as a potential cover for murder—drawing directly from his own experience as a scalloper. While a murder mystery relies on pace, action, and carefully placed misdirection, he also explores how to craft characters who are vivid and memorable, revealing how he selected and shaped his cast, whether inspired loosely by people he has known or imagined from the deeper truths of human nature.
James Sulzer was an Intensive English major at Yale, worked in television for a number of years, then moved with his family year-round to the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts. In his early years on the island, he labored as a commercial scalloper and sang professionally in a barbershop quartet, then taught English for three decades. Other published works include a novel about Emily Dickinson, The Voice at the Door and a novel about John Keats, Writ in Water, as well as the novel Nantucket Daybreak and a trilogy of middle grade novels for children, The Card People. All That Smolders is his first murder mystery and is written in honor of his mother, who was a big fan of Agatha Christie. Sulzer’s novel is heavily inspired by Agatha Christie. He even creates a backstory for his protagonist that places him as one of Christie’s relatives.
