It is the year of the Dragon, which represents CHANGE, and oh boy, do we need it. As is evident by the state of the world, if we do not change in all areas of the world and life, we are doomed.

TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW…LET LOVE RULE YOUR CHOICES.

Reflecting on the state of our world often leaves me pondering with a heavy heart, “How did we arrive at this juncture? How have we permitted the resurgence of conflicts, the rise of dishonest, misogynistic leaders who strive to regress rather than progress, who foster division rather than unity among nations?” It’s undeniable—we’re witnessing an era of profound desolation, where despair hangs heavily in the air, leading many to believe that life holds no more promise, no hope for what’s to come.

BUT, let me be clear—this is the moment for a pivotal shift, a resurgence of hope and action.

For nearly a dozen years, my life’s work has been to amplify the voices of optimism, the individuals who not only hold hope close to their hearts but also actively seek and create solutions. These are the souls who care deeply, who tirelessly work towards a future brimming with love, hope, and boundless possibilities for all. Their stories are the lighthouses in our stormy world, and it’s time we set our sails towards their light. It’s time for change, it’s time for hope.

“We must embrace the profound truth that we ourselves are the architects of our present and the sculptors of our future. Contrary to the often disheartening narratives spun by the media and those in positions of authority, hope is not a scarce commodity—it’s a bountiful essence that resides in each of us. This hope is waiting, like a wellspring, to be released and shared. Let’s not contain it; let’s allow it to flow freely from us, for in doing so, we become beacons of possibility and promise in our collective journey forward.”

On the 20th of February, 2024, I am embarking on a vital journey—a journey that begins with the launch of an anthology that speaks directly to the heart of our future: our children. This book, part of ‘Our Forgotten Children’ series, is not just a collection of words. It is a clarion call for transformation in the way we nurture our young ones.
