Celeste grew up with CAH (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) & PCOS (Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome) and has felt the challenges & embarrassment of Hirsutism, “five o’clock shadow, pigmentation & hair loss on her head.  She wants to help others who have had these same issues and have been negatively impacted by them.  For this reason, her approach to providing Laser Hair Removal services is to be empathetic, kind, accepting & encouraging so clients leave feeling cared for, understood, not judged & ready to show the world the beauty they possess.  She now specializes with trans women and women dealing with PCOS and excess facial and body hair.

Celeste started Lisse Laser & Skin Studio, an award-winning boutique clinic and the most specialized laser studio in Qualicum Beach, with advanced expertise in Laser Hair Removal and Laser Skin Rejuvenation because of her own journey with excess body hair.  She wanted the opportunity to start a business where she could work from her home studio and make her own hours, due to health reasons at the start of her business.  She wanted to make laser both accessible and affordable, without compromising on excellence.?  This was a standard she was not willing to compromise on.

At Lisse, she’s all about the human touch. She builds lasting relationships, not just client files. The client’s needs come first—because she truly cares, and her clients genuinely matter to her.??

Celeste understands because of her own experience with PCOS & Hirsutism, how deeply personal body hair can be, and no amount of hair will ever make her uncomfortable or not willing to serve you. She’s created a beautiful, Neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S+ judgement-free & sensory-friendly space, where it feels safe for anyone who enters to be authentic & their natural selves.  She is comfortable with others being un-masked around her & she actively does laser for clients with ADHD, AuDHD, Autism & Tourettes.
