23-26. GRACE AT ANY SIZE

Sara Troy on Sara’s View of Life, on air from June 27th

I’ve always believed that grace and elegance are not exclusive to slender women. Women of all sizes, shapes, and ages can exude grace. I’ve seen this in women like Oprah Winfrey and Queen Latifah, who despite being full-figured, are seen as graceful and elegant.

Grace, to me, is not just about physical appearance. It’s about the essence of a person, their tone of voice, and how they carry themselves. It’s about the aura you project, the energy you radiate. It’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin and letting that comfort and confidence shine through.

As I’ve aged, I’ve noticed changes in my body, as all women do. I’ve learned that adapting my clothing style to these changes is crucial. I’ve found that good quality fabric and the right cut of clothing can enhance my gracefulness. I’ve learned to accentuate my best features and to feel comfortable and confident in my clothing.

I’ve also noticed that the fashion industry and media often overlook full-bodied women. I believe that we need more representation of women of all sizes. We need to see more full-bodied women who look elegant, graceful, and beautiful in their own unique way.

I’ve never been a slave to the latest fashion trends. I believe in wearing what I feel good in, what represents my essence. I encourage all women to do the same. Don’t be afraid to wear that colorful dress or that patterned top if it makes you feel good. Remember, when you feel good in your outfit, you elevate yourself. You exude grace and confidence.

In conclusion, I believe that all women, regardless of their size, can be graceful. It’s all about how you carry yourself, how you feel in your clothing, and how you let your essence shine through. So, dress to feel good, and when you feel good, you will show good and do good.

23-24. Serenity and Abundance.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air form June 13th

May we all find serenity within our thoughts, love emanating from our hearts, and peace residing in our very essence. Let us not forget that there still exists a destructive virus of hate in our world. As we react to the tragic loss of life caused by individuals consumed by inner turmoil, let us unite in our collective determination to prevent even a single life from being lost in any manner, whether at the hands of another or due to the contagious nature of the hate virus itself.

As we navigate through these challenging times, it is crucial to prioritize your safety and well-being. Let us not allow fear to guide our actions, for fear thrives in darkness and lacks clarity until illuminated by light. When we understand the source of our fears, we gain the power to address them. It is important to acknowledge that there may be legitimate concerns that warrant fear, but even in those moments, we can find empowerment to take action.

Gratitude is a powerful tool for finding balance in life. When we express gratitude for even the smallest things, we cultivate a deep appreciation for them. True richness extends beyond material wealth and power; it resides within a heart and soul that live with purpose, love, and an abundance of spirit and soul.

Let us strive to be not only rich in our own lives but also to create opportunities for others to thrive. By sharing our abundance and uplifting those around us, we contribute to a more harmonious and fulfilling existence for all.

Enrichment and abundance are not merely external acquisitions; they are profound experiences that envelop us, transforming our very being. When we truly encounter enrichment and abundance, we are embraced by their presence. They become an integral part of who we are, permeating every aspect of our existence.

This deep sense of fulfillment propels us forward, guiding us on our unique path and purpose in life. It ignites a fire within us, driving us to pursue our calling with unwavering passion and dedication. The richness we feel within resonates outwardly, touching the lives of those around us and creating a ripple effect of positive energy.

When we are aligned with our true selves and living in harmony with our values and passions, enrichment and abundance flow naturally. They are not fleeting or external rewards, but rather an intrinsic state of being that allows us to navigate life’s journey with joy, contentment, and a profound sense of purpose.

May you be open to receiving the gifts of enrichment and abundance, allowing them to embrace you and propel you forward in the fulfillment of your calling and show you the serenity that awaits you. .

23-23. Celebrating 10 Years of my Podcast Network.

Sara’s View of Life, with Sara Troy, on air from June 6th

Hello, I’m Sara Troy, the host of Self Discovery Wisdom. Today, I’m taking a moment to reflect on a journey that has spanned over a decade. Yes, it’s been 10 years since I started my own network, after a year of podcasting else where. This journey, unbeknownst to me at the start, has become the most meaningful and rewarding endeavor of my life.

Looking back on my 11 years in this field, I’m filled with profound gratitude. I’ve had the privilege of interviewing extraordinary individuals who’ve shared their heart-wrenching and inspiring stories of courage, resilience, strength, and self-discovery. These stories have not only illuminated the inherent magnificence of the human race but have also deepened my own self-awareness.

This journey has expanded my understanding of humanity and instilled in me the belief that we all possess the capacity for greatness, for heart, spirit, soul, and an open mind, if we choose to embrace it. The individuals I’ve had the honor of interviewing have shared their experiences with honesty, openness, and heartfelt wisdom, serving as beacons of inspiration and propelling us forward on our individual paths of self-discovery.

To all the listeners who’ve tuned in with the intention to learn and apply these teachings, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your engagement, support, and willingness to share and care have created a vibrant community that encourages us to continue bringing the enrichment wisdom that we do week after week.

As I look ahead to the future, I’m filled with excitement and a deep sense of purpose. My commitment to uplifting and enriching lives through podcasting remains unwavering. I’m eager to continue on this journey of growth, discovery, and meaningful connections, for we all gain when we rise up to a higher vibration.

The past 11 years have been filled with extraordinary interviews. The people I’ve spoken with have been willing to share their life journeys, their struggles, and their discoveries. They’ve shared their passions and convictions, and their commitment to helping others. These stories have been extraordinary, and I’m honored to have been able to share them with you.

As I embark on my 10th year running my own network, expanding into Pod-Books, I’m looking forward to bringing more collaborations with more people. I’m eager to work with others, combining our skills and expertise to create a harmonious orchestra of wisdom.

I’m only 68. Can I go to 78? Can I go to 88? I’m going to try. As long as I can still hear, see, and do, I hope to keep doing this until the end of my days. Sharing the wisdom is truly illuminating, and I hope that each podcast brings something new to your life.

Thank you for all the 10 years. I’m immensely grateful to all those who have generously contributed to our endeavors through donations. Your support is instrumental in enabling us to bring forth this valuable knowledge and create a platform for sharing wisdom.

As I look to the future, I’m filled with excitement and a deep sense of purpose. I’m committed to uplifting and enriching lives through my podcasting. Here’s to the next decade of Self Discovery Wisdom, and to all the wisdom and inspiration it will bring.

Here is to the next ten years…………

23-22. Seen, Heard, and Respected

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from May 30th

Are you seen, heard, and respected? And are you receiving what you’re worth in life and being compensated accordingly;? Are you being valued for your contribution? Do you feel worthy of yourself?

We all want to be seen, heard, respected for who we are and what we contribute in life; but it is NOT up to others to place that value on us, but for us to do it for ourselves? We have no control on what people think about us, all we can do is put our best foot forward authentically, and represent ourselves in our own light.

Trying to live by someone else’s expectations is a killer of your spirit, heart, and soul, so know you, care for you, be that light in your own life, stand tall in your own commitments, hear yourself, see yourself for who you really are from the inside out, and not what you WANT people to think of you.

People, nature, the divine wisdom, can guide us along the way to our Self Discovery, but in the end, it is whom we have become that is up to us, no one else, and no one else’s business. You are not here to just please other people while losing yourself; you are here to discover why you are here, to do what, to serve whom and how and with what your gift is. That is your path, and while others can help, prod you and support you, it is still your life’s journey to take.

HOW YOU VALUE YOURSELF, HOW YOU RESPECT YOURSELF AND HOW YOU LOVE YOURSELF, IS WHAT OTHERS SEE IN YOU. SO BE YOUR OWN LIGHT AND SHINE BRIGHT ON OTHERS PATHS, SO THEY MAY SEE THEIR WAY ON THEIR OWN SELF DISCOVERY BECUASE YOU ARE THE INSPIRATION THAT THEY SEEK, JUST LIKE YOUR SOUGHT.

23-21. Trevor and Jay’s reflection of ME.

SARA’S VIEW OF LIFE with Sara Troy, on air May 23rd

Trevor Noah and Jay Shetty’s talk really spoke to me on their podcasts together; so much of what they say is speaking to me. Being grateful for our resilience to overcome what strife that happens to us and not being grateful for the experience itself.

Trevor is why I watched The DAILY SHOW, it was not just the humour, it was also those profound moments and perspectives that I found so aligning and spoke to the depths of society and our consciousness. He speaks to being an idiot, just a person who asks questions, and is willing to learn, I so relate. I know I am not educated, I speak a lot to knowingness, knowing what I need to know when I need to know it, but always be intrigued and have a willingness to understand a different point of view.

When you are an outsider, which I am also, I need to know why you see, what you feel, or do what you do, so I can understand. Trevor and Jay both are feeling different from others in what ever way, and understand why people can’t always see them. .

THEY SPEAK OF LOSING OURSELVES, the fitting in, the changing for approval, the conditioning of society institutions like religion, society’s dictations, it is easy to lose yourself. Trevor talks about home being the familiar, not the premises the building, but what feels familiar. Trevor is a number 8 which is the achiever and measures life by the goals it reaches. He has a good business sense, a powerful presence, and a strong drive for success. The 8 is also a symbol of balance — you can see it in its symmetrical shape. For every blessing it receives, it puts one back out to the universe. When things are balanced, they feel stable, controlled, and supported, which is the most productive environment for the 8 to work in. I am also an 8, life path, I relate.

Jay purpose is to help others find their purpose. His numerology is a 22 a divine enlightener, which explains why he chose to be a Monk, and now helping others to become who they really are. These profound energies represent the three phases of creation: envisioning, building, and sharing. 22 is the architect, to the world. Master Numbers take a long time for a person to master, so this potential often isn’t reached until later in life. The more of these numbers a person has, the more burdened they may feel. Patience and perseverance are required, but the reward will be so, so worth it.

Trevor speaks to feeling comfortable in chaos, I relate, as hard as I try in having order, chaos is where I end up, there I can make sense out of the chaos.

Trevor is friendly, consistent ,mercurial, ( volatile, capricious, temperamental, excitable, fickle, changeable) I so relate to this, we are perceived as stubborn, but we are mindful, never assume, and we like to seed the opportunities for others. The mind is not everything, soul, spirit, heart connection brings focus. Honour the question with a thoughtful answer.

They speak to the parts of us, is for us, or a disconnect or us. Friendship is the only thing that is your choice, everything else is circumstance. They speak of loneliness, even though they are always around people, but feel so alone; this speaks to be in such a big way, loneliness even in a crowd, has always be a part of me, only when I am personally engaged do I feel connected, but with the wrong crowd utter loneliness. As I grow in my podcasting, I find myself, wanting to retreat from the crowd, and want to less and less be out there with a group or crowd of people, much like Trevor, as even depression can seep in if one is not careful.

Feeling safe in life, is in choosing the people around you that know your vibe, that truly get the real you. There are so many who see you for how your make them feel, but not necessary know you and your many layers. We all have roles we adopt, some are instinctual to us, some conditional, I took on the role of being a people pleaser, the need serve to receive approval, the discovery of self is to know is the role really you intricacy because if not, we become trapped in the expectation role.

Trevor is the most successful comedian in Africa and was the host of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central. He has written, produced, and starred in 11 comedy specials, including his most recent, “Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia,” which launched in November 2018 on Netflix. He is the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood” which I loved. Trevor opens the conversation by sharing what it was like growing up, how he sees the rest of the world, and why it felt like it was okay growing up the way he did.

He says if we can see and feel what the least of us feel, it would make us all a lot more appreciative and reflective on what each other really needs.
