WJ18-04 How To Create A Life of Purpose, Serenity, and Joy In Mid-Life

The Wellness Journey with Lynnis Woods-Mullins and her guest Christina Sharp, on air from January 23rd

Many people have the expectation that once we reach mid-life that we should already have it all together.  We should be financially sound, have the “wisdom” thing down pat, and be spiritually evolved.  The reality is that is not always the case.  We are always a work in progress and NONE of us have it ALL.  Recognizing this truth is always a form of freedom and acting on the truth is always the first step to real growth. In this interview Christina Sharp, spiritual Life and Mindset coach, shares 3 essential keys we need to unlock the answers to creating a life with purpose, serenity, and joy.

She now knows that path leads to the blessings only a truly authentic, self-aligned life can bring.

WJ 18-03 Moving Forward On Life’s Journey By Spiritually Surrendering

The Wellness Journey with Lynnis Woods-Mullins, on air from January 16th

It’s a New Year and as usual, like many of you, I took some time to take stock of 2017.  For me, 2017 was a great year but it was full of negative, non-value add distractions.  It wasn’t so much what was going on in my personal life, but more about what was going on in the world around me.

The world has so much going on.  Much of it is not positive.  I can not recall a time in my 60 years when life has been so tumultuous and eventful.   Controversial elections, natural disasters, the threat of nuclear war etc…  All of this can take a toll no matter what your beliefs or politics are.   It can be overwhelming.

As I went through my period of self-reflection I came across a session from Oprah  Winfrey’s Soul Sunday series.  Gabrielle Bernstein was talking about the need for all of us to spiritually surrender and to start trusting God and the Universe in a different way than we have in the past.

This message had a profound effect on me and I decided to share this message with you. It’s time for all of us to spiritually surrender and move forward in 2018 with an air of great expectation and breakthrough!

WJ 17-51 How To Write Your Own Self-Care Prescription and THRIVE!

The Wellness Journey with Lynnis Woods-Mullins and her guest Dr. Marcus Penn, on air from December 19th

Wouldn’t it be great if we could just write our own prescriptions whenever we aren’t feeling well?  You know…come up with something we know will work, write the prescription, get it filled, and then we are cured…just like that.  Unfortunately getting well doesn’t work like that.  Many times, we try several things to get over a cold, lose weight, stop feeling depressed and on and on.
But what if few really could write our own self-care prescription.  A prescription that would be preventative and help us stay well and not have to use any unnecessary pharmaceuticals or surgeries.  The good news is that you can write your own self-care prescription.  You can figure out what works best for you to be well in your mind, body and spirit.   Dr. Marcus Penn shares with us how to do exactly that. Write our own self- care prescription.

It is still rare to find a traditionally trained Medical Doctor that also recognizes the importance of the mind, body and spirit connection. Dr. Marcus Penn, MD, C.Y.T. is such a Doctor and Renaissance man ( He is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Artist, Author and Photographer) and is passionate about the importance of taking care of our mind, body and spirit. Dr. Penn shares with us his prescription for wellness. He also shares how we can inform our bodies, empower our mind, and heal our spirit every day to achieve wellness. Join Dr. Penn and me for an informative and inspiring interview.
