Laura Davis is a fee-only, certified financial planner. Her new book, was inspired by her years of working with clients to help them gain clarity and confidence around their money. Fiduciary financial advice is usually reserved for the very wealthy, and Laura wanted to write a book that would help middle income Americans get the knowledge they need to do better with their money.

8 years ago Laura became a financial advisor. Prior to that she had a brief stint as a recruiter, and before that she was a real estate agent and sold foreclosures during the great recession. It was during that time that she started to become really interested in personal finance. She saw how flawed financial decisions resulted in people losing their homes and their incomes. This inspired her to help people do better with their money and create better outcomes.
