Originally from Cleveland, Scott Spacek has lived in China for most of the last two decades, working as a technology executive and advisor to leading corporations and governmental organizations. He attended Harvard University and speaks Mandarin Chinese. Teaching at an elite university in Beijing after college provided revealing details for CHINA HAND, his first novel.

It’s 1998, and China’s political and military leaders are torn by ideological divisions. Amid these seething rivalries, Andrew Callahan arrives in Beijing fresh out of Harvard, planning to spend an adventurous year studying Mandarin and teaching at the renowned International Affairs University. The IAU is known as a training ground for diplomats and spies. If Andrew agrees, he’ll face lethal odds against China’s ruthless security services to help pull off one of the greatest intelligence coups in American history. If he refuses, it could cost Lily and her family their lives.

We are dependent on healthy marine and coastal ecosystems for billions of livelihoods around the world, as well as regulation of weather and climate.  When the oceans lose their regenerative capacity, we face profound, even existential crisis.  Meanwhile existing laws are proving inadequate to deter and protect from the destructive side effects of many industrial practices and exploratory extractive projects.  But it doesn’t have to be this way.  Momentum is growing around the world towards criminalising severe and either widespread or long-term damage to ecosystems (increasingly known as “ecocide”) at the international level, which could create a desperately needed legal safety rail for commercial activity, deterring the worst harms, strengthening existing laws and, importantly, creating the enabling framework for strategic change and innovation. Find out how this powerful legal initiative can protect key marine ecosystems into the future, deterring severe threats, transforming our relationship with the oceans and protecting our own place on our planetary home. This event will be simultaneously translated into French and Spanish.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy on air form June 21st

Do not conform to please others, be your own joy your own way. We are inclined to celebrate ones mile stones in life in a way that empresses others, but that can stress you out and end up being fake. Be your own joy and have that celebration in a way the represents you and the joy you feel, think out of the box of tradition and conformity.

I have recently come from a 4 day wedding that was set on a lake and which was totally different to other weddings. It was fun, original and relaxing because the expectation of what that joy of celebration was not dictated to be, but was instead a joy of love that was meant to be.

We stress out trying to impress, serve and live up to an expectation that will never please everyone and will leave us disappointed. Instead, just have joyful fun, do what feels right for you, you set the stage and even ask others to help, and let the fun and celebration be what it is meant to be. We have forgotten to allow fun and joy and celebration of life happen, we try to mold it and manipulate it until it is not more a representation of our joy. So set the stage, invite the people, be the joy in that celebration and allow the fun to be, keep it light, fun and happy, and all will have a good time that will be truly remembered.

At age 36-41, I went from taking allergy shots to having a tragic deforming disease on my face that caused me near blindness. I knew that medication wasn’t what I was lacking but had no understanding of my body/mind/spirit connection. It was my spiritual awaking! I went on a journey. At age 42 I experienced the natural building blocks of self-healing without taking drugs. My self-healing story has been PUBLISHED IN 23 NATIONAL MAGAZINES. I have written 4 self-help books.    The topics I can talk about: 1. My healing story 2. For generations we have been taught as children to not cry, feel, or be real, conditioning many of us to disconnect from our Sacred Self. Many of us have taken on addictions to cover up our internalized disconnected feelings, mine was work- addiction. Teaching how to heal and return to our Sacred Self.

Georgie is a gifted intuitive healer, combining her wisdom with that of her life-long Angel Helpers. International clients rely on her to interpret how to make long-term and everyday decisions from their heart desires. Example, she interprets for others how our emotions manifest in health issues as a language, as our Sacred Self tries to get our attention, wanting to show us a more joy-filled way to live. 

Georgie playfully teaches others how to bless their lives, affairs, heal and increase their prosperity, the houses that have been for sale even 3 years, have sold in 3 to 5 days, she gives credit to her Great Divine guidance.

She teaches others how to connect with the Sacred filled with possibilities and love, and how to move out of socially conditioning internalized self-doubt.
