As part of their own spiritual quest, miracle experts, Katie Mahon and Joan Luise Hill, discovered that when we are truly awake and present, miracles abound. It started by sharing their own stories which quickly prompted an unexpected outpouring of stories from others. Stories that had never been told, stories that didn’t seem to matter, and stories that had been forgotten. While some defy explanation, others invite us to take a closer look, to discover common ground with each other, and to seek meaning in a whole new way.

The stories of courage, forgiveness, gratitude, faith, hope, and love from The Miracle Collectors, allow us to notice and appreciate the miracles that are available to each one of us, while opening us up to a part of the Divine mystery we can absorb and understand.

Katie Mahon became a miracle expert in a hard way. At nineteen, she walked away from serial killer Ted Bundy with the help of a stranger who appeared, seemingly, out of nowhere. Mahon has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Santa Clara University and spent nearly twenty years in banking before staying home with her two daughters. A transplant from the San Francisco Bay Area, Mahon now lives in New York City with her husband and enjoys chasing more than miracles with her three grandchildren.

Joan Luise Hill’s introduction to miracles evolved as a series of coincidences that ultimately could not be ignored. After a thirty-year career in medical administration and advancing innovative medical solutions, her expertise was put to the test to save the life of her son. She has a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College. Having lived in a number of states and with three adult children and family spread across the country, Hill and her husband are avid (and constant) travellers.

My name is Christopher Booth and I am the songwriter and founder of the By, Christopher brand.

I write original piano music for (self) mental health awareness. I started my brand almost three years ago as a hobby and wrote three songs dedicated to mental health awareness. I wanted to help some friends and family out with the relaxing style I write in. I quickly realized it was a much needed resource for people with mental health challenges and was being asked to write more music.

Before I even started my brand I was dealing with issues of my own stemming from the loss of my own mom to brain cancer in 2012. My mom was the one who encouraged me to write in the style of music I do. She dealt with depression and growing up and as a child I didn’t understand what that was. What I did understand was that the music I composed for her brought her out of her dark days and in to my life. I quickly made the connection of what my music could do for people if it could do that for her. 

I began to write again in 2017 as a way to cope and begin a healing process for myself. I wanted to do something that could bring mental health awareness (a passion of mine) and music together. Hence the start of my brand By, Christopher. 

COVID has had a tremendous impact on this world and more and more people are looking for ways to get their mental health resources online. One of my many goals with having the By, Christopher brand is bringing an awareness to ones own mental health through music. Music is such a powerful form of healing. In the world we live in with COVID people are looking for more way to de-stress and find inner peace.

I make my music available through the YouTube platform.

I feel my story is a very relevant one in the world we live in today and can be of use to many people, businesses and organizations.

Char is passionate about inspiring & empowering her audiences to heal from the past and to move forward through life challenges, to thrive as their authentic self and to embrace their truth, inner power and strength, to gain a new vision and perspective to live their best life yet. Sharing from her journey of having overcome a lifetime of abuse, thriving after cancer, loss and grief – moving through it with a positive attitude and gratitude, to re-discover and re-create yourself to be who you were meant to be – balanced heart, mind and soul.
