22-08 This week I will…..

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from February 15th

The words we speak to ourselves are just as important as what we speak to others. Here I speak to what I want to seed and feed and not to what I do not want to grow.

This week there will be no I cant’s
This week there will only be I can’s

My thoughts will be kind and caring

My heart will be full and sharing

My soul will be enlightening and giving

My spirit will fly and encompass and embrace

I am not afraid of my darkness for I am the LIGHT

I will share my light and be the light in their darkness

I will seed what I want to see grow, water them, nurture them and allow them to BLOOM
I will only think only on the possibilities of tomorrow that I can begin to make happen today
I will step into my own beingness and empower others to do the same

I will only believe in what can be, not what Iit is presently
I will think forward not dwell backwards
I will be optimistic, not pessimistic
I will have faith for I do believe in Universal energy

I will speak positively not negatively

I will always speak on inner honesty and strive for integrity

I will listen to others and truly hear them

I will not judge but ask, for I do not know the journey of others.

I will listen in to my own heart and feel the wisdom of the universe

I am kind to my pain but choose to release it
I will be all that I have grown into and not fall backward
I am what I think I am, I will be what I want to be, I am FLAWSOME

I love my inner child

I will nurture my inner child

I will love the adult I am

I am the PEACE I seek

I am the LOVE I seek

I will vibrantly feed the seeds of possibilities

I am ABUNDANTLY ENRICHED AND EMPOWERING and do not LACK

I can do what I think possible, if only I keep believing in myself and the universe.
WILL YOU?

POSITIVE THINKING = POSITIVE LIVING

CHOOSING TO SEE THE GOOD AND NOT DAM THE BAD BUT GIVE IT LOVING LIGHT

RG22-08 Patrice Badami Educating Special Needs Children

Raising our gifted children with Sara Troy and her guest Patrice Badami, on air from February 22nd

What exactly does it mean to be an advocate for a child with special needs? Our goal, as caregivers, is always to raise children to be happy and successful. But how does a caregiver navigate the overwhelming and sometimes complicated world of laws, resources and programs in their community?

I am a special education teacher and mother of three. I have advocated for families with children who have special needs to ensure that they receive the special education services that they require for them to be appropriately facilitated at their home school district. I created a website to help students as they navigate their way back into the in-person educational settings. The website is entitled Acorntotree.com and it offers free academic and recreational support for children and families.

IG22-07 Kristi Pederson Igniting Your Soul Power

Ignite your hart and soul with Sara Troy and her guest Kristi Pederson, on air from February 15th

My mission on this planet is to help people stand in their own power. I want to see people claim their power and understand how beautiful they are.

Kristi Pederson is an internationally known psychic medium, author, and public speaker who specializes in helping people discover who they are so they can stand in their own power and live the life their soul intended them to live.

Kristi began her own journey into the world of metaphysics in 1976 but in 2010 made a commitment to herself to heal no matter what that looked like including body, mind, and spirit in her current life as well as past-life trauma affecting this life. That also meant going public with her gifts of being a psychic medium and Reiki Master. She has never looked back.

Her first book was published in 2010 and titled An Extraordinary Life. Another major step in healing was to write and publish her second book in 2019 titled We Are Not Alone…my extraterrestrial contact. Shortly after her book was released, she was contacted by a film company proposing a documentary about her experiences with alien contact. Filming was completed in 2021 and should be ready for release late summer 2022.

While in sessions with clients, Kristi noticed a pattern. More and more people were having paranormal experiences and didn’t know what to do with what was happening to them. Those experiences included contact with deceased loved ones, psychic predictions, or even alien contact. Mostly clients were just tired of living a life they thought others expected them to live.  They were ready for change in their lives but didn’t know how to make those changes or even what those changes might be. This prompted the writing of her third book Between Earth and Heaven…a beginner’s guide to living a spiritual life.

Kristi compassionately works with individuals to help them understand how they got to where they are today and how to make permanent, healthy, and happy changes in their lives and have the courage to step into the power that is theirs waiting to be claimed.

As a public speaker she addresses groups of all sizes with the same compassion she has for individuals.

She has been featured on several podcasts including Meeting the Masters out of Sedona, AZ, Follow the Woo out of Los Angeles, CA, Bloop out of Omaha, NE, and Breathe Love and Light out of CT.  She has been speaking publicly for more than 30 years. To book Kristi as a speaker for your event contact click on Her Extraordinary Life from the menu page and go to speaker request form.

TM22-07 Kenny Xu, An Inconvenient Asian Minority.

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guests Kenny Xu, on air February 15th

From a journalist on the frontlines of the Students for Fair Admission (SFFA) v. Harvard case comes a probing examination of affirmative action, the false narrative of American meritocracy, and the attack on Asian American excellence with its far-reaching implications?from seedy test-prep centers to gleaming gifted-and-talented magnet schools, to top colleges and elite business, media, and political positions across America

The Asian American minority, transcending its impoverished history, has quietly assumed mastery of the nation’s technical and intellectual machinery and become essential to the workforce that makes modern American life possible. Yet, they’ve been forced to do so in the face of policy proposals?written in the name of diversity?that serve to exclude them from the upper ranks of the elite.

In An Inconvenient Minority, journalist Kenny Xu, who has covered the sensational Students for Fair Admission (SFFA) v. Harvard case since its inception, traces elite America’s longstanding unease about a minority potentially upending them in the race for group status. Their policy proposals, such as eliminating standardized testing, doling out racial preferences to non-Asian minorities, inflaming anti-Asian stereotypes, and lumping Asians into “privileged” categories despite their deprived historical experiences have forced Asian Americans to fight back?a battle given a boots-on-the-ground perspective here.

Going beyond the Harvard case, Xu unearths the skewed logic that has had ripple effects throughout the US, from Mayor Bill de Blasio’s attempted makeover of the New York City Specialized School programs to the battle over diversity quotas in Google’s and Facebook’s progressive epicenters to the rise of Asian American political activism in response to unfair perceptions and admission practices.

For too long, Asian Americans have stood in the shadows, operating the machinery in the back. But their time is now. An Inconvenient Minority chronicles the political and economic repression and renaissance of a long-ignored racial identity group?and how they are central to reversing America’s cultural decline and preserving the dynamism of the free world.

Kenny Xu is the lead insider on the Harvard case and a commentary writer for The Federalist, The Washington Examiner, The Daily Signal, and Quillette. Xu has spoken on the consequences of the Harvard case and its identity politics ideology in front of groups as diverse as the nationally renowned Pacific Legal Foundation to the Boston Rally for Education Rights to the all-Black Connecticut Parents Union. His commentary has propelled him to interviews with NPR and features in the New York Times Magazine. He lives in Washington, DC.

Kenny Xu, is the author of the new book, An Inconvenient Minority: The Attack on Asian American Excellence and the Fight for Meritocracy. He is the President of Color Us United, which advocates for a color-blind society.
