All my life I have sought permission to BE ME. NO more, I came to an understanding that I was the one to give my self permission and that I did not need anyone else to give it to me.

When we spend our lives trying to be what everyone wants and needs from us, it stops us from becoming who are really meant to be. Society has dictated that we must be, a certain size, colour, faith, intelligence, rich, sexy, useful and that if do not fit into that mould we are useless.

We waste so much of our lives trying to be, that we deny who we really are. Our wonderful complicated topsy turvy lives and our journey of self-discovery is coming home to our inner selves. For it is only when we look in and connect with our soul that we ignite our heart and set our spirit free and open our minds to know who what and why we are.

So do not sell your self short, do not wait for permission, but ALLOW your self to be all that wonderfulness you are and be willing to go through the process of that self-discovery of your meaning beautiful gift that you are in services to life its self.

Have we got to a stage where we have stopped thinking for our selves? Do we rely so much on APP’S that we can’t deduce anything our selves and have lost the need t feel and be connected to self and those around us?

We are so afraid of robots, yet we have given our lives over to artificial intelligence with our phones, and we are losing our ability to think, feel and interact with anyone.

These are tools, not a replacement for thought or for interaction and taking productive action in our lives.

Get back to hearing life in nature, within our selves, and hear our selves from the inside out while hearing what is around us and who is trying to communicate with us directly.

I have something to share……….but not yet

Over the years I have invested and support collaborated and aligned with people in openness and in the belief that we can do wonderful things together.

I am always open to trying new things, new ways of exploring options, new possibilities, but my alignments have not always been conducive. I have invested time and money in people, ventures and to date, I have not found a cohesive balance from it all.

Could it be this time I have found that person who will align, collaborate and in unison with a shared vision for the future actually make it happen? I am in the belief that it is so.

I never one to shy away from the work, doing my part, introducing people to people who could possibly be a good mix, it has backfired on me where they go off together and leave me behind, NOT THIS TIME.

This time the benefits are too positive for all involved no matter what happens personally for me, this benefits all my wonderful peeps (listeners and guests) here on Self Discovery Media and the Self Discovery Community organization for anyone to lose.

The wonderful thing is that it is totally FREE, which means I can share this with my Directory and media guests which will benefit them considerably.

18-14 Sara’s Seven Years of Podcasting

April 4th is my 7th year of podcasting and I have learnt so much about me and humanity from it.

When I was asked to join a podcast network back in April 2012, I was not sure if I could do it. I had been interviewed before, I was a storyteller, but that does not mean you’re ready for podcasting. My first show was a hoot, I pressed all the wrong button and of cause, it was live, so a total gong show, but I learnt fast and adjusted to the needs of live podcasting.

I was on that network for 13 months, then branched out in developing my own network in June 2013 (PLV RADIO). That too was an eye opener and took some time to adjust to, but as one does, we learn as we go and adjust as is needed along the way. In 2015 I changed the name to Self Discovery Radio, and the Self Discovery became a brand that people could identify with. But, radio we are not anymore, we are so much more, book publishing, Business Discovery Directory platform Discovery Services Directory platform and opening up to podcasting classes, the name had to reflect our new platform. Self Discovery Media was born, the Self Discovery had to stay and Media was my game now, so a no brainer.

More than that, I saw the need for people who are in a redirect in life and whose resources are challenged to receive the help they need to get back on their feet going in the right direction. My belief is we invest in people, people become our abundance and bring their wealth to one and all.

I have to say, that all these wonderful shows I have done over the last 7 years have been a soul and heart opener. I have learnt so much about me and set me inner voice free. I have learnt about the strength and courage we process when we are faced with life challenges, and what s required to get through them and become what we are meant to be in service here on this earth.
