18-27 How do you use Social Media?

Sara Troy on Sara’s View of Life, on air from July 3rd

Social media is a wonderful platform for meeting people and sharing what you have got. I have met some of the most wonderful people over these last few years through social media that are supportive and have become part of the family.

However, there are warnings with social media, and that is, do not cross the line, respect and at all times, holding back is needed, for if we just blurt out everything we feel in the moment we can offend very easily. I know you want to respond to that Tweet, that comment, but remember everyone is going to see it, and as we have witnessed, it can destroy you.

So do not post anything you are not willing to own, do not wish harm on others or send out hate media, for that will backfire on you. Always tweet, Facebook, etc with integrity and respect, and remember you are what you TWEET.

Social Media can be so beneficial on so many ways, it is a wonderful platform for meeting new people, it is a great platform for sharing your business, and it is a fabulous place to hold a conversation and share different perspectives.

Interaction is key, respond to people, comments in support of dialogue, share in support and keep good info moving forward, and invite people to see you and hear what you have to contribute to the world. See which platform is best for you and your business or the most friendly for your pleasure.

We need not be afraid on what info we put out there as long as will are always willing to own it.

18-25 Flowing in Authentic Spirituality with Sara

Sara Troy on Sara’s View of Life, on air from June 19th

Authentic Spirituality, what is that? is it something to do with being spiritual as opposed to doing spirituality? So many will say that they are spiritual, just like so many say their a person of God, but when it comes to action, they are far from what both represent.

Whatever you are, a person of a religion, a person of faith or a person who lives in the vibration of spirituality, we must own it, be it and not speak of one thing and do another, because of we then state that we are this or that, we need to stand by it and not conveniently forget when it suits us.

Understanding in our authenticity of spirituality requires us to not try and contain it, but flow with it as it is pure energy, pure love, and truly our truth that we need to know in our now. Spirituality is freedom, it is constantly moving, always in flow and cannot be boxed, shelved, walled in or controlled, for it is a divine energy that is constant in action.

Action in whatever your faith, must be true, we cannot bend our faith to a personal agenda, we cannot control it, we cannot use it against others and it cannot be hoarded for only a few. Spirituality is love, the caring kindness of loving humanity and showing compassion to one and all. WHEN YOU ARE IN DIVINE SPIRIT you flow, your growth, and you are being a person who acts and not just speaks.

So are you living in your authentic spirituality? are you walking the walk and showing caringness and kindness to all life? we are constantly being tested to our own authenticity, and we must rise up to a higher vibration in order to bring a more cohesive balance to our planet and to our humanity.

18-24 Is Sara Ready for Dating again?

Sara Troy on Sara’s View of Life, on air June 12th

Is Sara ready for dating again? that is the dating world ready for Sara?

I have been single for years now, and so busy building this radio network I have let life pass me by. I have not rushed out to date again, I am perfectly ok living with me, but to share ones life would be good, and this time to do it differently.

I have known loneliness within relationships, and they are heartbreaking, so this time my heart is full with who I am and what I stand for and the need to be loved is not required but the desire to have love in my life has stepped forward.

Come join me here as I share my view on dating and opening up to love again as a mature woman of age.

Something I wrote back in 2003.

So far, I have met single men looking at young single women, or men far too content with themselves to be looking at anyone at all. So I decided to look into a dating service. I had met a delightful English lady of about 58 who was on her third husband, whom she had met through an online dating service. Her delightful comment was, “Darling it is easier to get a man than job in this city.” I should have got the dating services name because the ones that I tried have not been very successful.

First I tried a service that could not get my sex right. They kept insisting that I was a man looking for a man. When they did get it right, I can honestly say that I was not turned on by men wearing ‘Wife beaters’ (vest tank tops) nor by a man with a beer in his hand, nor with another woman on his arm.  So I then hear of this dating service that questions and scrutinises their clientele fully. Only professionals allowed, completely above board. I spend two hours there, all the time asking what the price was to join. When she decided that I could join, I was told it would be $1600 CND + tax for six dates $3000 for unlimited use. Well they do have a lot of clientele and maybe there would be someone nice there, but not on my budget. So back to online dating? And maybe one day I will be lucky with it?

Well I have also heard of speed dating where you have eight minutes to meet someone then you change places on to the next. I believe that you write down the one you would like to see again and they connect you if that person wants to see you too. Well, a friend of mine did this and has met someone dishy, so maybe I will give it a try. I have thought of joining things, no not the gym or church or political party, but something with exciting lively people who enjoy life and conversation. I’m still looking, it will present itself soon and I will know when I find it. I am off to England to visit my mother and family soon, and you never know, I might meet someone on the plane. I have been bumped before and it could happen again. That’s the thing, you do not make new friends by design but mostly by circumstance and fate. Therefore, I will keep my eyes open my mind clear and my aura positive, and my next best friend will materialise.

I did meet someone in 2002 as a friend that later became a short-lived relationship but a long friendship instead. I have not dated since, so this is going to be interesting.

18-23 Another Mile Stone, Self Discovery Radio is 5 years old.

Sara Troy on Sara’s View Of life, on air from June 5th

5 years oldWhen I started PLV RADIO (with the help of Bill Macquis) I did not know how far it would really go, or the transitions it would go through. It started out as PLV Radio, short for Positive Living Vibrations, but the PLV confused people, so in 2015 I changed it to Self Discovery Radio, which is exactly what we are about.

We have had many looks along the way, including logos, and I will endeavour to embrace change where ever I can if it serves our community. Thank you to Bill for designing my Logos.

In those 5 years and with over 1900 collective shows from my hosts and my self, over a 1000 shows for me alone, I am so proud of the enormous “Orchard of Wisdom” library I have here for you ready for the clicking. We have interviewed some of the greats, those that have had their own self-discovery into wisdom and meaningful purpose, and who are now sharing that wisdom with us.

18-22 Does Childhood Neglect and Trauma make Villians?

Sara Troy, on Sara’s View of Life, on air May 29th

When you look at leaders who become dictators and narcissistic egomaniacs, do they have in common a traumatic childhood in common? We see in adults today an insecurity that very often stems from an unloving childhood, it can come in abuse both psychical and mental and also in a  form of neglect. We know children develop their empathy frontal lobe early on in childhood, and if they are not shown love and how to care for others, animals and nature, they become very immersed in self, the self-importance, self-obsessed, self-motivated, everything self and very often at the expense of everyone around them. See more here on Narcissistic Sociopath and Psychopath

Something we see in common with villains that we see in the movies is that they are terrible at connecting to the heart as it was neglected as a child and very often through abandonment.  Are all the people that are evil today, hurt children that are cruel to other people because they were hurt themselves in childhood and that pain was so much they need to inflict on others to release it?

You would think that if they have suffered such pain that they would seek love more, strive to find love within themselves to heal, look to placing love around them in order to love that inner child. Alas, what we see is a blame game and inflicting their pain on others to try and feel better themselves. Is it entrenched in the patterning of their DNA? a habit so built in they cannot see a way out?  Very often we see this leads to addiction, be it drugs or alcohol or manifesting in many other forms of addiction? or is it a choice to stay in victimization because it is easy to blame others for your pain, rather than do something about it?

When do we stop holding on to our past and start taking ownership of our lives now and choose a better more loving life? Only when we choose not to make our childhood an excuse for our behaviour today and when we do something about finding our way back to love by loving our own inner child.

Being a tyrant, a villain, a dictator, a power-hungry leader who hurts its own people to feel more powerful only makes that so-called leader weaker than everyone else. True power is in the EMPOWERMENT of your people, not bullying, terrorizing or crippling your people to feel important.

What do you feel about this topic? Can you see the correlation between our power-hungry leaders of today and their past as being children of neglect? If so what can we do to heal them or empower our selves with love against their infliction of pain upon us?
