The only reason she survived the house fire is her father carried her out first before running back in for her sisters where they all perished. Lynne Cockrum-Murphy was three years old and living in an idyllic family in Northern California. Raised by a mother whose life was shattered by the tragedy, Lynne’s childhood was jolted again when her stepfather died in a logging accident a few fireyears later and culminates in the murder of her mother years later. That could have been the end of any hope of happiness, but it wasn’t. Living Hope follows her life from those tragedies forward to today.

Sisters dead, Father dead and mother murdered.

With a transcendent spirit that knew there must be something better ahead, she kept searching for answers and with much time, trial and error, wise teachers, communal support, deep research and reading, and personal introspection, she ultimately triumphed over her pain and suffering, finding the steps to a joyful, deeply fulfilling life that includes a loving partner and a calling to help others. It’s those steps she interweaves in Living Hope as she tells her own remarkable story that takes her from surviving to thriving.

51rGymlXW8L._SX322_BO1,204,203,200_Lynne’s common sense and compassion are evident throughout Living Hope, as she guides people with actions, steps, tools, even a reading, and movie list to help them achieve the happiness and joy that changed her life. Hers is a model of hope, action, and success that a joyful life is possible no matter how heartbreaking the past. The message in her book addresses the basic needs of the 8 million Americans who suffer from PTSD.

In her case, instead of giving into family dysfunction, she moved beyond the events of the past and writes about dealing with trauma, loss, abuse, family alcoholism and shows there is a way to inner peace.

Living Hope is critically acclaimed by experts, ministers, coaches and therapists.  Rapid sales of the book show the deep need and the enthusiastic response from people looking for a way out of depression, fear and a sense of doom.

TSM16/08 Teachings from God: with Courtney Amundson

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Courtney Amundson airs February 23

She May Only be a Teenager, but the Wisdom She is Bringing Forth is for the Ages

Ca4wT4hUkAAplx8Where most teenagers are worrying about wearing the right lip color, or following the right YouTube star, Courtney Amundson is only worried about whether the messages she is astonishingly being delivered from the Divine are reaching enough people. Because Courtney was a mere 16 when she began following in the footsteps of Esther Hicks, Jane Roberts, Edgar Cayce and JZ Knight as an extraordinary powerful channeller.

Now, a ripened 20 and wise beyond her years, she is introducing to the world Teachings from God, Greeting Your Soul and Revealing the Divine Within, a book of loving channelled wisdom brought forth to light mankind’s path in challenging times.

Courtney’s spiritual life began to awaken at the age of 12! Beginning to practice the ancient art of Qigong, she became aware that something was happening. She says “I started to experience more of myself. The meditations were so beautiful I found that’s all I wanted to do. I learned to move my own energy so that the channels in my body could remain open and flowing in a healthy way. I experienced my third eye opening.”

Her desire to know more welled within her and she committed to exploring this new path. In early 2012, she was guided to sit and meditate, and she immediately felt a natural and beautiful feeling “as if an angel was in my body, just pure golden light and a voice began to speak to me.” That’s when she began typing the words, as she described them “messages filled with a love bigger than anything I had ever experienced, a reverence for all of humanity and a wisdom that continues to expand me.”

                         Teachings from God:

Greeting Your Soul and Revealing the Divine Within

                              By Courtney Amundson

398bf291d1a0ab0a28654f484c6d00eaAnd now those messages are compiled in Teachings from God. In reading the words, the reader experiences an immersion in love, compassion, and encouragement. It’s as if you have your own heavenly cheerleading squad, heartening you, gentling nudging you in the direction of life-affirming choices. Through Courtney, the guides offer a perspective of one’s place in the cosmic landscape and how we can make the most of our time here on Earth while enhancing our eternal energetic footprint.

The book postulates a path to greater happiness, self-acceptance, understanding of ourselves and how we can make a difference by “sharing the truth, holding the love and sharing our magic.” The guides point the way toward getting into the natural flow and rhythm of life so that life becomes easier, more satisfying and more divinely guided. The book makes the reader remember our Oneness with all and encourages us to step fully into the awareness of living live as part of the greater whole.

The essence of Teachings from God is to uncover our true nature, the divine within, that once discovered will launch every person on a path of empowerment.  The teachings help seekers to find, discover, remember the limitless aspects of human capacity so that we can attain more freedom in our daily living.  Free from limiting beliefs that hold us back from our potential. Free to create outcomes that we dared not imagine previously. Free to live unencumbered, for those who dare to lift the veil.

Listen within to live out…..

TSM16/07 “Who I Am” with Gods Blessing

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Monika Wilczynska on air from February 16/07

TRANSGENDER. The Pope said I don’t care what your faith is as long as it is about love and kindness. So if a Transgender person wants to be in faith who are you to dictate NO.

Oriol

Who I Am is a drama short film based on true events, and is based on from the life of a friend of mine from Sweden, with an original script written by Monika Wilczynska . It is a coming of age tale about Elijah, a young transgender teenager from a very religious background, who has to try to reconcile their identity with their faith and their family’s expectations of them.

It is about believing in ourselves and not compromising our own integrity in order to please our surroundings.

Can an LGBTQ-identifying person benefit from religion whilst staying true to who they are? Why is it important to tackle identity in regards to religion? How restrictive is our perception of spirituality and divinity? Who I Am does not attempt to answer these questions but it aspires to open the dialogue to the public on subjects that have been under-represented or taboo for far too long.

A lot of progress has been made in the past few years regarding LGBTQIA community and rights, but we still have a long way to go. Especially with transgender people, who are, in certain places, even less accepted than the rest of the LGBTQIA community. By giving visibility and voice to a transgender character, we aim to not only bring to life an honest and candid portrayal of their daily struggles but also to help educate people who may have never been directly confronted with this subject matter.

Monika the filmmaker says, “I am interested in the subject of identity and how different human beings identify themselves versus how they are seen by society and portrayed by the media. Religion and spirituality are also an interest of mine because we are wired in such a way that our actions come from our beliefs. Most of our deep-rooted beliefs, as well as many social, economic and political systems are based on religious teachings; whether we ourselves are an atheist, agnostic or a member of a particular religion. Therefore changing, or at least questioning our beliefs can help a positive change in the world happen much faster.”

Paul O’Deawho plays Elijah

paul

“I think having a voice as an artist is really important because we can speak up about issues that are close to our hearts but which are also socially relevant. Historically, creative people have always been pioneers when it came to ‘taboo’ subjects and revolutionary ideas. We are continuously being told that we are separate, that we don’t matter and that we cannot change the circumstances in which we live. But look at Rosa Parks, look at Martin Luther King, look at ‘Tank Man’ in Tiananmen Square. We do matter and the more we realize that the more we can achieve in a quicker amount of time. The first step to that is ending all sort of prejudice, especially one based on an individual’s ethnicity, religious affiliation or sexual orientation.”

Who I Am is aiming to help do just that.

When writing the script for Who I Am, it was important for me to stay true not only to the subject’s essence but also to the representation of a transgender person on screen. There is a history of misrepresenting transgender and non-binary characters by cis-gender people, and I wanted to steer clear of that. This is the reason why I not only spent countless hours talking with my friend on whom this story is based but also engaged with the transgender community through social media.

One of the reasons behind our fundraising campaign is our objective to screen this film at as many International Film Festivals as possible to raise awareness about its subject. We aim to submit it to Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, BFI Flare, San Francisco International LGBTQ Festival, Melbourne Queer Film Festival and Berlinale Film Festival (Teddy Award section) amongst others.

C16/05b The Propelled Heart

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Dr Toni L Rivera aired February 2nd

YOU HAVE THE CAPACITY TO HEAL YOUR BODY, MIND, EMOTIONS AND YOUR LIFE!

The Wisdom to Heal is Within You

images There is a wisdom within each of us. This intelligence creates our entire body from the joining of two cells. It is that intelligence that heals our body, no matter what mode of treatment we might choose. This wisdom is attempting to communicate with us all the time. Our body speaks to us through the language of sensation. Our emotions and thoughts inform us of all that is significant for our learning and growth in life. Our intuition serves as the bridge between the all knowing soul and the ego.  This wisdom within longs to be heard!

When there is a recurring physical symptom or sensation, our body is speaking to us. The way it feels to us is the clue to the message. Some people are visual and may see color, or an image or a shape. Others may hear words or have a memory or be reminded of something or someone.

These clues are important for they reveal the messages from the body. The messages that can guide our decisions and direction in life. If we listen, we can adapt and increase choice in our lives. If we don’t listen, the sensations may grow in strength until we have a constant worsening symptom or disease.

We begin the relationship with calming the mind and either sitting or lying in a quiet and comfortable position. Breathing into the area of sensation and allowing the messages to emerge. Then acknowledging the area by simply stating: “I know you are (blank) right now.”

Many times some inner knowing will emerge in the moment. Thanking the place for sharing and then asking, “Do you have a message for me?” may be the next step in the conversation that opens the door to understanding and insight.

Habitual emotions and thoughts can be utilized for greater understanding and knowing of ourselves and our lives. The lessons there are to be learned as we progress on our spiritual path. Sometimes strong emotions accent the need to explore something or let us know when something is very important for us to consider. These insights guide us as we grow and learn in life. Without them, we get stuck in recurring situations and feel trapped. Insight brings choice and the incentive and power to redirect our lives.

We are here in this life to learn and grow. Open your heart and mind to a relationship with yourself! Not to indulge every whim, but to nurture and cultivate true growth and a freedom of choice to live a full and rewarding life.

Toni smile smallToni Luisa Rivera, Doctor of Chiropractic, and Certified Rubenfeld Synergist, started her first private practice in Puerto Rico after graduating from Life Chiropractic College in 1985. Her fascination with the body/mind/emotion/spirit connection grew as she provided service to thousands of people in rural PR. Dr. Toni saw how recurring mental/emotional states resulted in physical conditions that were unique in each person. On discovering the Rubenfeld Synergy Method in 1993, she began to study and then work closely with Ilana Rubenfeld, the founder of the method. Toni learned to listen to the body’s wisdom through her hands and intuitive insight. While increasing awareness of the client to themselves and their inner body wisdom, she facilitates the healing of their body/mind/emotions/spirit. Dr. Toni founded Intuition Mastery to provide training, to both the general public and other healthcare practitioners, on accessing the intuitive wisdom within themselves and those they care for.
