Animals are our friends, not our food, are you ready to change? it is not as hard are you think, even one vegan/vegetarian meal a week makes a global impact on our health and environment, let us stop the suffering of helpless animals that live in pain and fear to feed us and start investing in our own health and future by not needing to eat them.
Gene Baur is co-founder and president of Farm Sanctuary, America’s leading farm animal protection organization. Gene Baur has been hailed as “the conscience of the food movement” by TIME magazine. Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Caprice Hogg aired July 28th
We live in a world of assumption and judgment and we do not look further into what is possible from within ourselves and others. We are all capable of being great we all are given a gift that is our purpose, and no matter what life’s challenge is, we can embrace that path for it is our destiny. Caprice who has Muscular Dystrophy but does not let anything hold her back from the wonderful divine path chosen for her with her art.
Caprice first picked up her paintbrush in 1994 and quickly discovered a hidden talent. She studied with artists Karen Hersey and Keith Smith and soon found herself in a world of colourful oils, shapes, and art techniques. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge of art has become an obsession as Caprice eagerly reads each and every art book she can get her hands on.
In 1998, Caprice’s first solo exhibition gave her the confidence and courage to pursue painting as a full-time career. She has continued to exhibit on an ongoing basis and her works are now in private and corporate collections in Western and Eastern Canada, the United States, Europe, and New Zealand. Caprice works and exhibits her paintings from her Studio Gallery located in Kimberley, British Columbia, Canada.
Caprice prefers selling directly to her clients, as it allows her to get to know the unique people who purchase her work. You are welcome to view Caprice’s paintings at her Studio Gallery in Kimberley, British Columbia.
Caprice feels privileged to be able to use her talent to help others. She has donated several paintings to organizations such as Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Wildsight Environmental Society, In-Definite Arts Society which supports art programs for people with developmental disabilities, and “Reaching E-Quality Employment Services” which assists people with disabilities to find full-time employment. For two consecutive years, Caprice was commissioned by the Variety Club of British Columbia to produce a painting for their annual “Show of Hearts” Telethon to benefit children with special needs. She was also commissioned, along with five other prominent Canadian women artists, to produce a painting for the Canadian Foundation for Women’s Health. Caprice is a strong advocate for the environment, animal rights and natural health, all of which are reflected in her lifestyle.
In 2005, Caprice was honoured by her high school, The Lethbridge Collegiate Institute, with their “Wall of Distinction” Award, along with Olympic gold medal hockey player Billy Gibson. This lifetime achievement award acknowledges career accomplishments and humanitarian efforts. Caprice received yet another honour in 2011, this time from her elementary and junior high school, St. Joseph’s School when she was inducted on to their “Wall of Fame” in Coaldale, Alberta.
Teaching art has become another passion for Caprice. Passing on the knowledge that was passed on to her is certainly an important part of her career. Working with children has been especially rewarding, as their innocence and imagination is inspiring! In 2011, Caprice had a great experience teaching “at risk” teenagers at the Kimberley Alternate School and hopes to do more in the future.
Whenever the opportunity arises, Caprice does venture past her studio door and travels to not only see new landscapes but also to art galleries and museums in Canada and abroad. She finds them most illuminating and maintains a level of inspiration.
Unable to physically walk through forests and climb steep mountains, Caprice calls upon the powers of her imagination to experience their beauty and majesty. Her vibrant colours and bold strokes reflect her strong connection to mother nature. Looking at a Caprice painting is the next best thing to being there!

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Lidia Frederico aired from July 14th on.
The Lidia Frederico Project, former Global Light Project is a non-profit organisation dedicated to help people clear obstacles and find fulfilment in every area of their life: health, finance, relationships, career, personal development and spirituality. We do this by providing information, practical advice, courses, training and individual sessions.
Founded in London in 2009 by Lidia Frederico and a team of supporters, the Lidia Frederico Project is currently working towards opening a center for support, teaching and healing in London to assist those in need.
We aim to give everybody access to a range of professionals and services including conventional and alternative health practices such as acupuncture, dental care, hypnotherapy, yoga or NLP, to business, financial and relationship advice, stress reduction, feng shui and energetic personal, home and business clearing.
25% OF Lidia’s income goes to supporting this coarse.
Lidia Frederico is a lifelong Consciousness Facilitator, spiritual coach, energy therapist, trance medium and author. She is widely sought out by clients and media worldwide. Originally from Portugal, she now hails from London. Lidia inherited her medium and spiritual abilities from a lineage of female healers and mediums on her mother’s side. Lidia has been fully aware of her gifts since childhood, which she nurtured and, in due course, culminated in her developing her channeling abilities by 1993.
Having taken the route of Karate as a child, Lidia opened her own dojo in Lisbon (Portugal) by the time she was 18. At this school, which is still running to this day, Lidia taught children, adults and disabled people. Her continuous dedication to Martial Arts led her becoming Karate World Kata Champion in 1986. As a naturally creative, Lidia turned her hand as a beautician and later enjoyed a long career with government security services.
Lidia is affectionately called ‘the cleaning lady’ as she expertly and thoroughly clears clients of negative influences in their energy fields. By channelling her guides, Lidia identifies all such influences in a person’s life. Depending on the client, this could be anything from a person’s beliefs, thought patterns, entities that have attached and need removing, or the result of those not channelling the light and much more.
Whilst trance channelling, her guides pinpoint how a person’s life is blocked by unwanted energies, people and situations. They proceed to move away from the unwanted influences, sending them back to the light or neutralising their influences in a person’s life. She then works with each client at an energetic level for between three and six months depending on the degree of ongoing support that is necessary. The objective of Lidia’s work is to get clients back on track with the life they were destined to fulfil.
Lidia continues to clean and balance each client’s energy field without interfering with that person until they can stand on their own two feet and, therefore, ensuring that the unwanted influences do not return. She is an Energy and Crystal Therapist, works with the chakras, auras and uses herbs for clearing and cleansing. Lidia is highly adept at soul retrieval and clearing issues from past lives, which is an area that is becoming more widely known to the greater public as a holistic healing modality. Her abilities extend to her having the ability to access the Akashic records of individuals to clear up past karma, thus enabling their life to flow once again. The skill set she has honed over the past 25 years, whilst working with clients, who are from all walks of life, include, clearing at the DNA cellular level, soul retrieval, soul integration, past life regression, healing of past lives, clearing of karma, for individuals as well as their soul group. Utilising the angelic realms, and Ascended Masters to facilitate others lives and the planet. All of Lidia’s Ascended Masters and spirit guides have been tested, so as to corroborate the authenticity of her work. Lidia’s stresses the importance of being on integrity when working at this level and respecting fully all spiritual laws.
It is purely through her faith and belief in a higher power that Lidia has been able to evolve spiritually as she has. This has enabled her to assist those in need of her support at a profoundly deep level. Lidia’s dedication to contribution and service to her family, community and planet is aligned with the Sacred Mother Energy that is urgently needed for the spiritual evolution of Humanity. Her greatest joy is in assisting people to raise their spiritual frequency and, hence the planet, by helping them live fruitful, joyous and happy life.

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guests Joscelyn Duffy and Barry Braun aired July 7th
When he became a grandfather in 2013, Barry Braun began reflecting on what the world would be like for his new granddaughter when she reached the prime of her life. What he saw angered him and he was determined to do something about it. He founded Women Reshaping the World as a legacy project for all children.
As he reflected on why their future well-being and happiness was being threatened, he concluded that it was a simple matter of collective decision making. Like many others, Barry realised that we need a different kind of decision-making to put us on a different course. In the past, we have acted in the moment and deal with consequences only later, which has brought us to a point of threatening our well-being and the survival of our children. He believes that we need is decision making that is holistic, collaborative, long-term and connected to a deep sense of purpose — or a more feminine style of leadership. That is why Barry is spearheading one of many initiatives to help women (and the men who collaborate with them) shift our world for the better.
His thought is this: If 2 million women join together as a community to use their individual voices to shape the kind of decisions we collectively make, there will be enough power to shift the norm on decision making. This could contribute to changing the course of our world. And so, Women Reshaping the World is aiming to do just that, with a community of 2 million women, brought together through conferences across North America, an online membership platform, mentorship programs and powerful workshops. The vision is simple: Provide women with the tools to foster confidence in their sense of purpose and their voice, and support putting that purpose into action.
Barry is a visionary. He sees a world of possibility when we take the destiny into our collective hands. As a long-term student of human behaviour, Barry believes that with a deep sense of awareness, we can move beyond simply surviving. As an expert, he has developed powerful techniques to bring people the awareness of their deep purpose and how they can impact the world around them.
Barry is a pragmatist who questions how we can build the world we would all want for our children and grandchildren, where they enjoy the happiness and well-being that comes from sufficiency, security, belonging, purpose and fairness.
As a grandfather, Barry sees the world through the eyes of children and how their innocence and joy is replaced by either numbness or fear as they move into adulthood and then a questing for purpose as they move into mature adults. His vision is to help us maintain that youthful spirit as we each unfold and share our unique purpose. It is this vision that lays the foundation for the resources, teachings and community of Women Reshaping The World.
Joscelyn is a writer, ghostwriter and motivational speaker, whose purpose has been shaped by a natural ability to identify and communicate simplicity from within the complex. Her career began as a financial educator with Fortune 500 companies, where she crafted national newsletters and led countless training sessions, guiding others to find calm during chaos. When abrupt physical debilitation and a life-threatening case of lupus struck Joscelyn at the tender age of twenty-six, she was swept away from the career and life she knew and offered the greatest contemplation time of her life. While healing and growing through illness, she discovered the truths of a reshaped life path and the ultimate purpose of her being. Her passions always laid within writing, speaking and helping others; there simply had been a voice telling her that it was meant to be for more than financial education. That little voice was right, and facing adversity first-hand provided Joscelyn with the opportunity to test every belief she had about how we each can find calm, clarity and confidence, even in the heart of chaos. What she lived is what she shares with others today. Acting as a mirror, she helps others reveal their authentic voice, strength and wisdom, and fearlessly express it to the world. Her ghostwriting clients include some of the world’s top motivational speakers, a former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and an international men’s health figure. And her gentle demeanour, practical guidance and powerful perspectives leave clients and audiences feeling more assured and hopeful as they journey through life.
To find out more about Joscelyn’s personal healing journey and her discovery of personal purpose, you can pick up her first book, Unshakable To The Core, at Amazon.com.
Why Barry approached Joscelyn to be the voice and face of WRTW:
“A woman reshaping the world is a woman who is committed to knowing the real purpose and committed to putting that purpose into action in every increasing way. A woman reshaping the world is a woman of courage who in spite of fear, speaks up and does the right thing anyway. That is why I chose Joscelyn. She is and has courage, purpose and takes action in ways that inspire change.”
