We are still in a pandemic, an economic crises and a redirection in our lives. Christmas, or any other celebration, is going to be different this year, we may not be able to be with our families, or at least our large families, we may even have to zoom Christmas, but that is ok, we can get through it, for we still have each other.
This pandemic is out of control, largely to people who think it is a government conspiracy and a control over their rights. But, it is a killer, and with over 12 million infectected in the US alone, and other parts of the world overwhelmed by it all, we will not see the light for a while yet.
I wish people would wear a mask without making an argument. I wish people would take this seriously and respect we need to guard lives and protect each other from this deadly disease. Science has shown us, masks work, washing hands work, social distancing works, so why are we not using our common sense and following the rules in order to save lives.
We are going to have to adjust this Christmas, we are going to have to do things differently. We can get creative and participate with each other in different ways, like Zoom, Skype, Messenger etc. We can reach out to those all alone, young or old, and send them a card, or call them, or have a zoom call, ever a sing-a-long.
It is time to come together and support our local community in any safe way we can, and not leave anyone alone or out, for all we really want is to matter in people’s lives.

I hear you body, you are in a spasm and have been for weeks now, and you are in constant pain. It is easy to get angry but that tenses you up and hurts even more. I have spent the last few days just resting, the pain has not gone away, but I can cope with it better. These are the joys of fibro, as in all things in life, it is how we handle it. Rest, nurture, and feed your spirit and soul to heal, you are never 100% for that will never happen, but listening to the body makes things easier.
An open heart can feel pain, but sometimes it is the only way to know joy, the difference is not to hold that sorrow and pain in, or take it on, but to let it go through you and out into gratitude and joy of living. I know it can be hard when living in pain daily, but feed the gratitude and joy of life, the purpose, and meaningfulness, and the pain will not take hold of you.
As a podcaster and producer of a podcast network, I work daily to bring shows to people to help them on their journey in life. We all have struggles, and yes some are really hard to live with, but it gives me a reason to get up each day and do something meaningful, that feeds me joy and lessens the pain, for which never goes away, but lessens. Pain becomes your partner, and you learn to listen to it, and when it needs you to stop and rest you do, for if you don’t you will pay for it.
For me, it is the fatigue I have to live with, the constant feeling of tiredness, never recharging, always being in some discomfort, legs feeling like they are made of lead, waking up with pain all over, back hurting, and always working through it, but that is what we have to do, work with our pain, our bodies and find a balance that helps us live with it daily.
I listen to music and that can rebalance me, I watch movies/TV and that redirects me, I go for walks in nature and that feeds me, I see what I have and live in gratitude of it, and I don’t feed the mistakes of disappointments, but the successes and accomplishments. I find joy in all I do, I love what I do, I love the love it gives and the joy it brings and the answers needed by those on their own journey in life.
I find meaning in life, I find purpose, and that stops me from dwelling in my pain, and allows me to get up every day in spite of it, but at the same time honouring my body and its needs.
I wrote this four years ago, and I can add today that I still live in daily pain. Since this podcast, I have written my own memoir, contributed to three books, and produced an anthology called Our Forgotten Children. I also have two grandsons with whom I spend a lot of time and energy, but the love both ways is so worth it.
I have done a few shows on this disease, and many have shared their ways of managing it in their lives.
What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia (FM) was recognized as a true syndrome (now upgraded to a disease) by the American College of Rheumatology in 1990. FM is thought to exist in 2% to 3% of the population. It occurs in both men and women and women are affected 6 to 9 times more often than men. In women, FMoccurs most commonly between the ages of 30 to 60. FM can also affect teenagers, children, and the elderly. FM has no known cause. Current research into how the nervous system deals with pain has shown that various abnormalities are present in people who have FM.
Other studies have indicated that genetic (inherited) factors may predispose some individuals to develop FM. These genetic factors can affect how the body responds to pain, physical or emotional trauma, and illnesses (such as viral infections).
This work is at the research stage and not yet available for doctors to help diagnose patients with FM in their offices. But this knowledge can be helpful in the management of FM.

In this Pearls Of Wisdom show, I ask you to open your heart to let your soul in. Why you ask? because only when the heart is open can you hear and feel your soul wisdom.
We have been conditioned to only come from our head intellect, and we have switched of to that soul Intuition which guides us, nurtures us and shows us what we need to know when we need to know it.
An open heart feels, yes it can feel pain, but it is through that pain we learn, we discover, we grow. Do not be afraid to have an open heart, for without that you are not living, you are just mindlessly doing. Being open to love on all fronts, life, purpose, joy, hurt and pure love, is the experience we are mant to have. Shutting of that experience will only hurt you and stop you from being guided and from really knowing how to love life in every way.

Our Past is our experience, it teaches us how to grow and builds character, it shows us our strength and courage and abilities, do not let the past pains, suffering, and difficulties stop you from living in your now.
Our Present is in the gift of the now, what we choose to do, and how we choose to do it and our current attitude will dictate your future. Be present in your now, be open to what is in front and around you, you have the power to change what is not working, but only if you leave the past suffering behind, and seed the possibilities for tomorrow.
Our Future is up to us, we may not know what will happen to us, but what we choose to do will dictate how we benefit from it. Seed, water, nurture your future but understand it is in the NOW that things grow, your life will be what you feed, so feed positively the now for your future to grow abundantly.

AUTUMN, (FALL) IS A BEAUTIFUL TIME OF YEAR, BUT IT IS ALSO DEATH OF A SEASON AND ALL OUR TREES ETC. Is death so bad? not when it means time to reflect, in the winter to renew again in the spring.
We see beauty in in life, but why can’t we see the beauty in an ending? Even in death we are still transitioning, life is a full circle, always new chapters, always renewing its self. Let us go with nature and let this chapter of our life die, so we can seed a new so the spring can renew us in new opportunities.
