Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from July
Why do we feel guilty in taking time for our selves? Why do we feel pressured to be active every moment always doing never still? It is because we have bought this idea that we need to be always building in order to achieve. I disagree, stillness, taking time away, reflection, re directing it essential in our success and guides us on a path that we are meant to be on, not a societies dictation.
I am shutting down for 3 weeks in the summer, one week to see family and friends, 2 weeks to write my book ( or get as much as I can in that time) I have started, but always there is something else I am meant to do, like shows, looking after my Grandson (which I love to do) and attending to my senior lady friend who always wants to go out.
It is ok to say NO, not now, I need time, got something else on, maybe later, or I simply can’t do it. It is your boundary, your choice and you have the right to do it. Time management is so important, equally so when it allows you to just have time to be you, or do that something you want to do, but life has got in the way of.
So I will not be bringing you shows after July 28th until August 30th, and I will be concentrating on my book, and the book invite for the Forgotten Children book series.

Living on her own by 16, surviving a life altering car accident at 18, and then becoming debilitated from a spinal injury at 28, LauraBeth knows well the adversities that life can present. Her faith in God was tested as her entire world crumbled, and she went from being a hands-on mom to 4 sons, ages 8 and under, to being confined to bed due to chronic pain.
In her darkest hours, she cried out to God, and found solace and comfort in words that came to her in the form of poetry, prose, and songs. Given time, she overcame her despair and pressed into God more deeply, learning to accept her situation, and determined to make the best of life, despite its difficulties.
She thought of creative ways to parent her children, and spent a lot of quality time with them in her room, which now became “the family room”. Reading stories, playing board games, doing homework, check in points, talks, and watching favorite shows were now the norm.
Once the boys were older, LauraBeth knew she was being called to share her poetry, and her story with others, to offer anyone going through difficulties a sense of comfort and hope! She had been given the name “Cheerful Hearts” about ten years prior as a vision. And knew one day she would have a company that provided “Good Medicine” to the soul.
In 2006, while still confined to four walls, that dream was realized, as she turned ten years’ worth of writing into an inspirational greeting card, gift, and keepsake line! She also began sharing her story as a motivational speaker, encouraging others that no matter their circumstance, with perseverance, faith, and determination, that they can overcome any difficulty they face! In 2009, she became a Live Your Best Life Coach, offering those going through their own challenges a clear path, with strategic steps to move forward to live their own inspired life full of possibilities!
It is her heart’s passion to encourage, uplift, inspire and motivate you, wherever you are in this journey of life! She genuinely cares about people, and wants to bring joy to others through her work.

Bill VanPatten is a brilliant expert on language acquisition and bilingualism, he tells hilarious jokes on stage, creates movies and a telenovelas and writes well-crafted mysteries with a social message. Meet Bill VanPatten. Language has been his life’s passion for nearly four decades. He taught linguistics, Spanish, and second language acquisition at Michigan State University, Texas Tech University, and University of Illinois for over 30 years, traveling around the world to deliver over 1,000 lectures, publish 200 articles, and inspire thousands of students. He retired in 2018 from that chapter in his life, only to write another. His third novel, A Little Rain, was just released.
“Language is a very powerful means for expressing who we are,” says VanPatten. “After teaching about language for so many years, I love the freedom to now use it to tell stories that both enlighten and entertain readers.”
“As a gay and Latino man,” says VanPatten, “my books shed light on two communities that are often marginalized and misunderstood. But I also provide a great escape to readers who want to enmesh themselves in the lives of others, who struggle to find their way in a complex world.”

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from July 4th
Quite simply my body belongs to me and my choices are my own….not anyone else’s.
I am not anti-pro-choice, but I am anti-birthing when it is forced on someone who can not for some reason raise a child. Women who have been raped, incest, pressured into sex by a partner, or medically, emotionally, and financially can not support a child which is a lifetime commitment. Who are you to decide what is best for them?
Being a Mother is truly a wonderful experience, but it is a long one, a life time, and unless the man who got her pregnant is willing to step up with funding, support, and time to raise that child, then who are we to demand she has a child she can not take care of.
My idea is two fold, 1. NO SEX UNLESS THE MAN SIGNS A LEGAL DOCUMENT STATING THAT IF SHE GOT PREGNANT THAT HE WOULD FINANCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND PHYICIALLY BE THERE TO HELP RAISE THE CHILD AND MAKE IT MANDITORY. 2. Demand a man have a vasectomy if he wants sex without protection.
There is NO accountability for the man who got a woman pregnant, she did not get pregnant on her own, so why is he not paying the price too? Having an abortion is not easy, so many emotions and conflictions and pain involved, and yet the man has nothing to go through? If a man does not want children and enjoys sex with consenting partners, then get a vasectomy. Free sex has a price too.
Women, we are so strong, so smart, so resilient, so empowering, so capable and so not going to give in to this. So lets us rise up and create our own laws ( like no sex until sign) and show the men that they to must step up and hold some responsibility for their actions too.
We as women have worked hard to have rights to be a woman, to be seen, heard, e qualified and that we are a force to be reckoned with. Don’t not mess with our minds, bodies, hearts, souls, spirits, for you will lose. We are mighty and we are not going to stand for this intrusion into our womanly rights any more on any level no matter how big or small.
