QS22-19. Lauren Walker’s Energy to Heal

Quantum Spirituality with Sara Troy and her guest Lauren Walker, on air from May 10th

Lauren has been named one of the top 100 most influential yoga teachers in America.
Her new book outlines Walker’s system to help anyone who feels overwhelmed or anxious, as well as those struggling to recover from an intensely traumatic experience.

In Lauren Walker’s THE ENERGY TO HEAL: Find Lasting Freedom from Stress and Trauma Through Energy Medicine Yoga (Llewellyn; May 2022), Walker offers a crash course in her unique combination of energy work and yoga: Energy Medicine Yoga (EMYoga). Grounded in science and ancient healing practices, EMYoga provides tools to help us in the face of anxiety. Walker provides simple, step-by-step practices and gentle tools anyone can use to make EMYoga work for them. Whether in the midst of a crisis, on the brink of a meltdown, or just grappling with the stress of day-to-day life, EMYoga can help anyone alleviate stress and reclaim the joy in life.

In down-to-earth language, THE ENERGY TO HEAL explains what energy and Energy Medicine Yoga are, and why EMYoga is so effective. This approach to restoring emotional balance draws on two powers everyone has: energy and the mind. With knowledge and compassion, Walker discusses why energy is not only the best medicine but also essential for healing from stress and trauma.

Along with basic yoga poses and simple practices like deep breathing, THE ENERGY TO HEAL teaches how to use a unique tool: the 5E Star. Based on Chinese medicine’s Five Element Theory, the 5E Star sheds light on the five main difficult emotional responses we have for any event—fear, anger, anxiety, worry, and grief—and acts like a compass for calming whichever powerful emotion we’re feeling.
As Walker emphasizes, “life isn’t a one-and-done thing,” and likewise EMYoga is not a “one-and-done practice.” EMYoga is replicable and accessible, regardless of age or physical abilities, and even for yoga first-timers. Through her guide, these practices can readily become incorporated into daily life.

22-19 Poison or Empathy?

Sara’s View of Life, with Sara Troy, on air from May 10th

I have just finished doing a show on Stalin, Lennen, and Putin and their love of poisons and killing people who offend them. It is very scary to know that there are still people in the world that will kill so easily and also take such pleasure out of it.

People who take such pleasure in killing others because of their existence or who challenge their authority because they feel threatened are people who are empty inside. They have no soul, or heart consciousness and therefore can not take responsibility for their actions and they do not care. When they take such pleasure in killing and the pain and suffering of others, there is a sickness inside of them that is more than just emptiness.

All these dictators are lost souls, little boys trapped in an injured empty vessel and they need power, lots of it to feel important. But, no amount of power will ever feed them enough, for they are forever empty of kindness, caringness, and love. It would be sad, but for the souls that have been tortured by their hands.

Now with Bio-Weapons being threatened of which they are prepared for and we are not, who knows what will happen if we do not stop this man Putin.

We all face pain in our lives, we all have challenges to overcome, that is where we find our strength, courage, skills, and abilities in life, through the process of healing, growing, and discovering how awesome we can be when we feed the right will.

The Devil is within every one of us, if we do not feed him, he has no voice, but when we feed and invite him in, he can take over very fast, leading one down the rabbit hole of hate despair, violence, and death. The only way to beat the devil is to face him, stand tall as a whole, in unison and in force of self-love, inner strength, and higher vibrations of love, for that will shatter him, them, into pieces.

They will never embrace love or consciousness, for there is too much loathing inside of them for themselves. While they blame everyone on the outside, their inside knows it is their choice and they must own it, and that scares them the most. The bully must face a stronger force, a force of unity, empowerment of the community, and in the power of love, but know this, imprisonment won’t kill them, but to take their power of control away from them, is death in itself.

So while we see all the hate pain and suffering we have inflicted upon each other over the centuries, let us look to the power of empowerment, of the higher energy of love, kindness, caring, and compassion, for these, are the weapons that will win, hate only destroys, love creates.

Each and every one of us faces the devil in some way, will you let him win, or rise up to a vibration he can’t reach? it is up to every one of us. Choose wisely.

Happy Mama’s Day

It is beautiful being a Mother, and truly a gift of life in so many ways. When we hold our child for the very first time, there are no words to describe the love and bond we feel, it is divine in every way. When we see our children grow up and make their own discoveries along the way, it is exciting and a reminder of the inner child within ourselves.

Being a mother is a great responsibility, we are their custodians, their guiders, their nurturers, and disciplinarians, with that comes great responsibility, and we do not always get it right, for we are not all whole when we become that Mother.

We raise our children from a pattern of how we were raised, which is not always good. No blame on our parents, for they are following a pattern too. If we feel something is lacking, or we want to do things differently, then follow your heart, it will guide us well, listen to your soul for it can not lie, and allow ourselves to go in and reach out, for our own children will show us how to go in and be the heart and soul that we are.

Your children will test your limits, they will push every button, and they will test the boundaries of life over and over again. Show them how to always live from the heart consciousness, and to listen to their own instincts as to go over those boundaries or not. When they make mistakes, discipline yes, but never ever leave a child feeling unloved. Love and discipline are 2 separate things, you are addressing the mistake from them to learn from, but it never should have how much you love them or not dangled in their face.

Love is pure, true, and unconditional, and never should be used as a punishment. as to if you love them or not when they do wrong.

My own children are in their 30s now, one with a child of her own; seeing her with her son and the light that exudes from her, is truly an illuminating blessing, and warms my very soul. Seeing his Uncle and Aunt croon over him and how much this little soul lights up their lives is also totally divine.

As a GrandMama, I am so in love with him and can now take the time to see him discover life in a way I could not while raising my own children. and I am enjoying just gobbling him up and seeing him in his own discovery of life.

Children are our future, teach them well and show them the way to live from the heart and listen to their souls, and always have a loving consciousness in everything they do, and they will live a life of beautiful meaningful purpose that serves us all, allow them their own self-discovery to being that awesome human being that they are.

TO ALL YOU MAMA’S OUT THERE, WELL DONE, YOU ARE THE ROOT OF THE FAMILY AND THE BRANCHES THAT FOREVER GROW.

Keep on being Mama, but remember you were a child, a woman before you were a Mama, SO MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LOSE YOURSELF ON MAMAHOOD BUT FIND A BALANCE THAT ENCOMPASSES THE WHOLE OF YOU.

From one Happy Mama/GrandMa to you all Happy Mama’s Day.

Truly

C22-18 Dreama and Bob “Gilligan” Denver & Autism

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Dreama Denver, on air from May 3rd

Dreama Denver: is the wife of late classic TV icon Bob “Gilligan” Denver and the award-winning author of ‘Gilligan’s Dreams’ who has single-handedly carried on her husband’s legacy since his passing. The Denver Foundation is a non-profit foundation started by Bob and Dreama in honor of their severely autistic son, Colin. They understood firsthand in an up-close-and-personal way exactly what families face when presented with the challenge of caring for a family member with special needs. Today, the Denver Foundation assists special needs individuals in  West Virginia. Under Dreama’s tutelage, its mission has expanded to include West Virginia’s Always Free Honor Flight, which recognizes the sacrifices of our veterans with free trips to Washington, DC, to see the memorials built to honor their service.

Actress, writer, radio station owner, and personality Dreama Denver met her husband of almost 30 years, television icon Bob Denver (Gilligan of Gilligan’s Island, Maynard G. Krebs of Dobie Gillis), when she was cast as his love interest in the Woody Allen play, “Play It Again, Sam”. After marrying the popular television personality, Dreama continued her acting career, appearing in a Gilligan’s Island reunion movie with Bob, co-starring with him in a TV pilot titled “Scamps” and touring the U.S. and Canada successfully and happily with her husband for over a decade.

The birth of Denver’s son Colin, diagnosed with severe autism, changed everything for Bob and Dreama, who retired from show business and moved back to West Virginia to devote the next two decades to Colin’s full-time care. During this time, the pair also founded The Denver Foundation, which honors their son and is dedicated to assisting special needs children and their families.

“The Denver Foundation and Little Buddy Radio, a nonprofit radio station owned and operated by the Foundation, were Bob’s last and most important legacies,” Dreama says, “and making these two entities as successful as possible became my mission after Bob passed away. His desire to give back to West Virginia was huge. He loved this area, considered himself an adopted West Virginian and was a tireless ambassador for the state. Regardless of how important and far-reaching his television legacy was, and is, his love for our son and his desire to help other families like ours trumped even that.”

Since Bob’s death in 2005, Dreama has discovered new passions and new directions in which to take the foundation. Founding Always Free Honor Flight, WV’s first Honor Flight program, honoring WV veterans with free trips to Washington, DC to visit the memorials built to honor their service is especially close to Dreama’s heart, as is the Denver Foundation’s Always Free Walk of Honor, installed and dedicated as a poignant addition to the War Memorial and Museum in Princeton.
