Along with basic yoga poses and simple practices like deep breathing, THE ENERGY TO HEAL teaches how to use a unique tool: the 5E Star. Based on Chinese medicine’s Five Element Theory, the 5E Star sheds light on the five main difficult emotional responses we have for any event—fear, anger, anxiety, worry, and grief—and acts like a compass for calming whichever powerful emotion we’re feeling.

Lauren Walker has been teaching yoga and meditation since 1997 and created Energy Medicine Yoga while teaching at Norwich University, the oldest private military college in the country. She now teaches EMYoga across the US and internationally.
