God’s role is to guide us in life, he is our custodian so do we have free will?

Author of The Barrenness, Sonja Lewis proudly introduces her second novel, The Blindsided Prophet, a riveting read about a modern day prophet who fails to predict a tragic event, which alters his life forever.

Though psychological fiction at its deepest, the novel is a story about redemption. No matter how broken you are you can be restored. This is God’s message to the people through his prophet, Isaiah Brown. All that is a required is a willingness to look within and exercise the freewill He gives us to govern our own thinking.

Sonja has appeared in national media in the USA including CNN, Black Enterprise, and The Tom Joyner Morning Show and in a host of regional and local media. In addition, she has been featured in media in Canada (The Toronto Star and The Canadian Press) and the United Kingdom.

A former newspaper journalist for The Albany Herald (Georgia, US), Sonja has also written for The Guardian, and has run a successful communications consultancy in the UK. Clients included the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB), The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) and CBHA, a subsidiary housing association of The Peabody Trust.

Today, she writes a blog for the Huffington Post UK and sonjalewis.com. In 1984, she received her BA in English/Journalism from Valdosta State University, Georgia, and in 1999, her MA from the University of Westminster, London. A member of the Society of Authors and English Pen, Sonja lives in London with her husband, Paul.
