20-44 What Expectations did you have for your life?

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from October 27th

We have so many expectations for our lives, do we feel let down if we do not achieve them? We have so many dreams from our childhood, so many people we want to be, want to explore, but were we nurtured to explore them or told to follow another path?

Dreams are good, acting on them even better, having a passion for something makes it easy to follow ones path, but what if you don’t know your passion because expectations got in the way, like living up to parents dreams, societies expectations, faith and control not giving the the light to follow.

It is never too late to follow a passion, a dream, a desire. It is why you are here, you were giving a gift a meaningful purpose to be, and if you were denied the watering of those beautiful seeds, you were taken of track. Pause, take time to really look at your life right now, and ask your self, who am I now, where am I, and am I in the right place doing the right thing for my purpose using my divine gift?

I speak to the conflict of living up to external expectations and the ones you have on your self, and how to follow your path right now.

IG20-44 Twiceborn. How to Keep the Faith, Find your North Star, and Follow It.

Ignite your heart and soul with Sara Troy and her guest Yoichi Utebi, on air from October 27th

How to Keep the Faith, Find your North Star, and Follow It- the driving message in Twiceborn, the inspirational new biopic from Japan

Twiceborn is based on the life of Ryuho Okawa, the founder of Happy Science, Japan’s fastest-growing and most influential spiritual movement with 12 million members across 100 countries. Based on true events, Twiceborn tells the story of Satoru Ichijo, a highly successful businessman who relinquishes everything to pursue his true calling, the happiness of humankind. The film opens in July 1991 with Satoru lecturing to more than 50,000 people in Tokyo Dome. The story then flashes back to the months leading up to his college graduation when Satoru, a top scholar and athlete, begins receiving messages from the spiritual world. After graduation, Satoru is invited to join a highly respected international trading firm, where he soon becomes very successful and is positioned for a vault to the executive suite. Meanwhile, he is spending all of his leisure time reading spiritual philosophers, recording the messages and insights he is constantly receiving from his spirit guides, and coming to terms with the astounding and overwhelming message his spirit guides have for him: “Your mission as the Buddha reborn is to save all people by spreading the Truth.”

About Yoichi Utebi, Executive Vice President of HS Productions

Born in Japan in 1968, Yoichi Utebi grew up in Beirut, Lebanon and New York City. Raised in a rare Japanese Christian family, he was deeply touched by Muslim culture and the beauty of Lebanon during his formative years in Beirut. However, the Middle East also exposed Utebi to the horrors of war, as he and his family dodged bullets and bombings before fleeing to London and back to Japan, leaving everything behind in a sudden evacuation.  In the 7th grade, Utebi moved to New York for 10 years, where he was exposed to friends from multiple cultures and ethnicities. His rock band produced a popular album and gained quite a following in the city before Utebi decided to forego his musical pursuits and return to Japan.

After 12 years of experience in marketing and senior management at various American IT companies in Japan, Utebi joined Happy Science in 2010, where he quickly rose to Director of International Communications. Utebi is currently leading Happy Science’s International Media Division and is the Executive Vice President of HS Productions and producer of Twiceborn

Allowing the Knowingness

My soul is open to the divine and it speaks to my heart in truth, which ignites my spirit into opening my mind to what I need to know, when I need to know it. This is knowingness, being open to the source of life’s divine energy and allowing it to come through you into knowledgeable wisdom we can use.

This is my life’s beingness and only when I allow I do  receive, for anger, hate and mistrust, closes these doors, and only caringness, kindness, willingness and love will open you up the power within and above.

So how do we get there, this place of divine trust and allowing? We feel our thoughts, so much of what is in our heads is just a reflection of what is going on around us. So, STOP, close your eyes, take a breath and go in deep into your soul and allow the wisdom to come through. You can’t think it there, although allowing the thoughts to flow and not dictate is key, you give your mind permission to open up to what can be, and let the source run through you.

I know for many, this is scary, letting go of thoughts and control, but the only control we have is when we let go and go with vibrational love. We are all energy, and energy needs to be in flow, it needs constant movement, just like the oxygen and blood within us,  but we need to be still enough to know how to attach to that divine flow of life.

I have always been a knowingness person, even when I did not understand it, I knew, it was for someone else to receive the knowledge, they would understand it. In a world where you are being told what to do all the time, it can be hard to step into one’s self and let it be. When we choose to take that path of self love and alignment, we find a place within us that is one of peace, truth and enlightenment, and that is the wisdom you need to allow to flow as it will lead you to your own divine path and meaningful purpose.

We are here in these bodies on this planet to learn to experience and to live in harmony with our spirituality and humanness. We are spiritual beings having  human experience, and that uniting of our souls to human heart, gives us all the direction we need to allow life’s adventures and expand out hearts and minds into what we are really here for.

Our purpose is to be of service to one another, to live in the higher vibration of kindness, compassion, collaborations, and LOVE. With these things driving us, we will walk the path of wonderment and inner love will exude that love wherever we go.

May you know how to open you soul, heart spirit and mind to the knowingness, and let yourself flow into life with a service of love and skills that helps everyone.

One of the greatest gifts Pink Lady( now 88) gives the world is how she challenges stigmas about ageing that seniors face on a regular basis.  She has become a powerful voice of today’s 60+ community, that challenges skeptics and proves that it’s “absolutely possible to be vital, creative, enthusiastic, energetic, sexy, and “shout-out” fantastic.”  Senior Star Power Productions produced fifteen musical reviews, including “Rockin’ With The Ages,” “The Beat Goes On” and “We Have a Dream.”   These musical reviews feature the only talent that is 60+; some have extensive experience in stage, film, and TV industry; some are newcomers.  Her shows are nothing short of bursting with talent!

See says “You don’t stop laughing, you still grow old because you stop laughing”

Life is a wonderful experience, and with a blueprint already to go, we can use every single second of it to our advantage. We should be grateful just to be here…now…with the ability to grow older with our friends family and all grand children, Part of Getting up and Getting Out, is learning to live again by opening new doors and finding exciting adventures and beautiful relationships. I believe the best investment you will ever make in your whole life is in investing in your self- at this time in your life.

Ester Shifren is a Poet, Artist, Musician, Author and a woman of exuberance in her young 83 years. She has written a poem every day of Covid19 and her positive energy gives us hope and lifts us up to greater heights.

When writing poems and giving vent I feel my gift is heaven sent. The saying goes, “There’s none so blind”… If I may only change ONE mind Then I’ll continue on my quest, NEVER will I stop to rest! Many are now opening eyes—-they took a while to realize. The one they worshipped, idolized, was not the one they should have prized. As long as I have words that flow, I’ll vent—my hat into the rink I’ll throw! Seek the truth that sets you free—do research–not just from me! Don’t spend your life in misery because you voted abysmally. Be strong, just change, it’s not too late—your vote can change the hand of fate. If you’re honest, have heart and brain, you’ll see these leaders inflicted pain. On many of our brethren—admit it! Change your party—bravely quit it! Please don’t miss it—make a note. November—soon—they’ll count your VOTE!

Life in a day of Ester.

No one’s coming over so I’m just not dusting much–
can almost write my name on every surface that I touch!
I live between two freeways and sometimes have to sneeze–
the fault of dust brought in by every wayward breeze.
My time is mostly hijacked by computer, iPad, phone–
result of spending too much time at home and all alone!
And sometimes I feel wonderful, but sometimes I do not,
and then I readjust to count the blessings that I’ve got.
I have friends with difficulties so much beyond repair!
It balances my thinking and reduces my despair.
And think of all those seniors who live on high up floors,
with long and darkened passages leading to their doors.
I’m lucky that my building, though convent-like, is small,
and when my neighbors walk, or swim, I can see them all!
The antidote for me has been, (and maybe you?), I’m certain,
Creative ways of staying in touch ’til Covid’s final curtain.

I was born in China, Hong Kong to be exact
We really were from Shanghai—and that’s a real fact.
The  Japanese were fighting the Chinese at that time
My mother left to safe Hong Kong—where conditions weren’t sublime
We then returned to Shanghai, but then during  World War Two
The Japanese interned us, our fears for safety grew!
We, and other Allies, were prisoners of war
And suffered deprivations we’d never had before.
Three years of isolation were serious and sad
So I’m comparing Covid—and both are mighty bad!
But I am free, not punished, as then, enduring war.
So I’ll still count my blessings—each day—and pray for more!
But, just can’t understand the ones who fail to wear a mask
Endangering all—and seniors. I’M  NOT AFRAID TO ASK.

That day when we left China, I was just a teen.
We moved to nascent Israel, to times I’d never seen.
The war had stripped our family of comforts we once knew,
We left with very little—our possessions were so few.

?

Canada refused us, $10,000 was their fee—
Australia said, “Our quota’s full.” Just Israel was free.
We quarantined at first, then moved into a tent,
A transit camp facility—where most newcomers went.
We had no running water in our tent or, later, hut.
We showered using hoses—I was viewed as teenage nut!
But we were free—and many strangers became friends.
It was a real melting pot, all colors and all blends.
Languages were barriers, but somehow we survived,
Living with so many of the recently-arrived
From Europe, and the Middle East, their stories full of pain…
Food was scarce, and rationed, it didn’t help us to complain!
But soon the Hebrew language was getting to be heard—
A marvel! We shared stories, always searching for a word.
And now I’ll end this chapter and continue ‘nother day.
I hope that you will join me as I travel on my way.
