C15/36b The Right to Believe in Your Faith

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and Pastor Aubrey Shines aired September 8th-14th

images (1)We all have a right to believe in our own faith and no one government, fanatics, or activists have the right to take that away from you. Christianity is under attack and discord is prevalent throughout America, how do we keep the faith out of law and keep it as a human right to believe?

Faith, prayer and uniting in a belief gives us strength, gives us sanctuary, and shows us, unconditional love. Today we are speaking to Christianity and the erosion that is taking place, we all have the right to free will and to stand tall in our faith and when we come together in respect not dictatorship we understand the meaning of faith.

Pastor Aubrey Shines speaks to the activist who are dictating the rights of Christians to practice and believe in their own faith, and how they need to stand tall in their faith and not let political correctness erode their belief. The right to embrace God in their own way.

Prophet-Shines-200x300Pastor Aubrey Shines, a Chicago native, began ministering in the Cook County Correctional System in Chicago, IL as an evangelical minister licensed by the late Bishop D. Husband (Churches of God in Christ). In 1987 God moved greatly upon Pastor Shines’ heart and he became the founder of Glory To Glory Ministries. The ministry has since transcended denominational, cultural, and ethnic boundaries. Glory To Glory Ministries is now located in the inner city of Tampa, Florida. Over the past twelve years, this congregation has grown tremendously because of the anointing that God has placed on Pastor Shine’s life. In September of 2014, Glory to Glory Ministries International will extend its boundaries by opening the doors of ministry in their second location, Glory to Glory Ministries of Orlando, Florida. Pastor Shines most recent accomplishment is being one of the seven founders of the International Communion of Evangelical Churches organization under the dynamic leadership of Presiding Bishop Harry R. Jackson, Jr.

HOMOSEXUALITY? Things That The Media Won’t Tell You!

By Bishop Aubrey Shines

homosexualityIn this timely and provocative book, Bishop Aubrey Shines focuses a spotlight on the gay agenda and the current status of legal efforts to legitimize same-sex marriage. He issues a clarion call to the church to get informed and to get involved.

With a well-reasoned and balanced perspective, Bishop Shines offers a cogent analysis of the contemporary debate including:

  • The insidious attempt of extremists to re-define marriage
  • Legal, political, social, moral, and religious implications of same-sex marriage
  • Intentional blurring and confusion between “civil rights” and “human rights”
  • Exposing the “myths” of same-sex marriage
  • Why Christians must become more educated and engaged to defend traditional marriage.

Homosexuality? will help you understand exactly how this is a watershed issue for the church today and why Christians must step forward and let their voices be heard!

Positive Vibrations

526741_439436436086043_127510390611984_1647496_317439898_n1We are living in a downward spiral and if we do not stop this it will continue until the end of this planet. We do have the power within us to change, mother earth is pissed at us, but all life is energy and if we can elevate our own energy then we may just be able to aid this poor planet into staying around for us.
As Carol King said, “We have to get up every morning with a smile our FACE AND SHOW THE WORLD ALL THE LOVE IN OUR HEARTS“. We must stay upbeat no matter how beaten down we feel. We must give a dam and not relinquish to someone else. We must believe in something greater than ourselves and we must come together as a community a village and help each other out and not turn away. A problem shared is a problem solved; it is time to get back to the sharing of pain, hope, love, life, planet and populations. For if we do not then we will pay the price with our lives.

No matter what is going on in our life good or bad, make an effort each day to be kind, caring and considerate to some else. When we take the time to value some else, it reflects back on us with an elevation of good vibrations. If we all make the effort each and every day and add to it every day, this good vibe will flow into the air and be contagious lifting other people’s spirit and igniting them to follow and create the good vibrations themselves.
Turn of the news (especially CNN) reach out to those that need us, start with your loved ones, a smile instead of a scowl, an acknowledgment of something great they have done instead of a reprimand, a reason for them to pass a good feeling forward, a proud smile goes a very long way.

We can make a difference; it is a CHOICE then an action on that choice. Don’t be a part of the problem but look to be a part of the solution. Don’t feed the pain but fuel solution. We can take back our lives our planet and our positive way of living, just DO NOT ACCEPT THE NEGATIVE, JUST DON’T LET IT IN.

Sara Troy (1)

Sing it out loud, say it clearly, speak to your heart and soul and believe in something greater than yourself and ask the Gods for guidance to a more harmonious way of living. Send out the good vibrations and make this world into a better place to live.

C15/37a Cancer and Alzheimer’s Liberation

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Dr. Constance L. Vincent aired from September 15th-and on

To lose yourself or a loved one to Alzheimer’s or Cancer is heartbreaking, but with the right knowledge and action, we can empower healing and some prevention.

images (9)

A HIGHLY CANDID AND INTIMATE MEMOIR OF INVESTIGATION INTO DEVASTATING DISEASES LIKE CANCER AND ALZHEIMER’S.

images (7)

Cancer such a common word and disease these days and Alzheimer’s there is not much known about it, so how do you prepare and what tools do you need to take action in healing and empowering your health? Your health is your responsibility and the more you know and do, the longer you live and healthier you will be.

There are two different paths of aging–and you can choose which one you take. Accountability or Neglect of Your Health?

A dynamic fusion of story and science, “Not Going Gently” offers a fresh look at Alzheimer’s and dementia from both personal and professional vantage points–and provides a plan for prevention. In this poignant mother-daughter memoir,  Constance L. Vincent, tablets you, shares her mother’s experience and feelings living with Alzheimer’s as well as her own perspective both as a psychologist and a potential victim of the disease.

Most books about Alzheimer’s focus on only one aspect of the disease from either a scientific or personal perspective. Not Going Gently expertly melds the two into an all-inclusive portrait of the disease. Dr. Vincent describes her own age-related memory changes and compares them to Alzheimer’s–the warning signs, myths, risks, diagnosis, and stages of the disease.  While she honestly addresses this devastating illness that affects millions of people and their loved ones, she also offers hope through groundbreaking discoveries in science. Dr. Vincent includes specific advice on the newest ideas in nutrition, lifestyle, and building a cognitive reserve that she is following to prevent Alzheimer’s and gives suggestions for more enlightened treatment.

Mimisparty070copyConstance L. Vincent earned a Ph.D. at UC Irvine and taught classes in developmental psychology, especially psychology of aging, at two different universities. In addition to her book Not Going Gently about Alzheimer’s disease, she has edited the long-awaited Dr. Tom Wu’s Different Approach in Natural Healing: Conquer Cancer and Other Diseases with Simple Foods. Her husband got his life back because of Dr. Wu’s approach to food and lifestyle.

As the daughter of a father who suffered from dementia before he died and a mother who has Alzheimer’s disease, I likely have a genetic risk for these diseases. Although my role as a long-distance caregiver for my mother was limited, I devoured the research about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in order to learn the best diet, the best supplements, and the best activities that would help my mother, who was already showing signs of mild cognitive impairment. I wanted to fight back to save her from slipping into Alzheimer’s.

PPNativeCover4795834_FrontCover300wUnfortunately, I learned that the time to prevent dementia is now, while our brains are healthy and early prevention is still effective. Clearly, we have no time to waste. If I was too late to save my mother from Alzheimer’s, I still had time to use what I learned for myself. I’ll share the steps I’m taking now to fight against Alzheimer’s disease. I hope you’ll join me. Like my mother, I am “not going gently.”

Learn the steps you can do to prevent and or deal with cancer and  Alzheimer’s, and what tools the family needs in dealing with a loved one who has it.

Constance and her husband Ed live in Menlo Park, CA. They have a blended family of a son, four daughters, and twelve grandchildren. The Vincents have always travelled extensively, but now their travels are mainly to visit their widespread family! They enjoy their book clubs, operas, symphonies, and movies.
