Welcome Msomi is a gentle giant in the Arts and Communications industries, who had a very special connection to Nelson Mandela and continues to keep Madiba’s spirit alive! Find out in this show what prompted him to return to live in South Africa from New York.

He started writing at the age of 15 and his name has become synonymous with Zulu literature as an accomplished author.

A multi-faceted man in the Arts arena, who has won numerous awards, Welcome has won international acclaim as a playwright, actor, choreographer and director.

Welcome’s significant success was UMABATHA, a Zulu adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, which was hailed as the only cultural classic to come from South Africa. For some 30 years, UMABATHA was performed in many parts of the world, including the UK, Italy, Israel, Canada and all the major cities in the USA.

Besides writing for the stage, Welcome Msomi has written and acted in radio plays, hosted his own radio show; composed and produced songs for all his musicals. He also created music and movement for TAMBURLAINE THE GREAT, a Royal Shakespeare Company production and was subsequently nominated for Sir Lawrence Olivier Award for Choreography.

Welcome Msomi has a leading reputation in the creation of value networks and leading business concepts. His products have become towering examples of partnership, innovation and outsourcing in the communications industry of South Africa.

Having the innate ability of bringing specialists together to stage global events of enormous proportions, he successfully conceived and directed the 1994 Nelson Mandela Inauguration in just 18 days, without even knowing who the next President was going to be!

He was also involved with Nelson Mandela’s 75th, 77th, 78th, 80th and 88th and 90th birthday celebrations.

Paying tribute to Nelson Mandela, Welcome formed a partnership with Michael Hankinson to create a musical narrative ‘The Mandela Portrait’ and more recently staged ‘Footsteps of Mandela’ a musical in New York.

She is the founder of the Community of Mary, an online interfaith spiritual community that celebrates the Divine Mother and the Feminine Path of Awakening. She has been working as a healer for over 25 years and has developed her own style of Intuitive Healing, using her intuition to talk directly to her client’s energy field, known as the Chakra System. By doing this, she can help you discover the underlying issues of problems in your life, as well as your Sacred Life Purpose. In 2012, after a year-long “dark night of the soul” Frances began working with and for the Divine Feminine, specifically Mother Mary. I am faced with yet another challenge and it feels a little like a visit from Mr Murphy again, so I have to look at why he is back and in how I can stop him from interfering with my life again.

Why is it when we feel we are in sync with the flow of our lives, something comes along to rock our boats. I speak candidly about my predicament and I try to understand what invited him back and how to change that.

Every so often a book of powerful honesty comes along to jog us out of our comfortable existence. Lessons is such a book. Author Scott Magri has lived the painful life of drugs, crime and physical brutality, and Lessons tells that story in his own words. He pulls no punches in the telling of this story, particularly when it comes to his own failings, but he firmly believes that the lessons he has learned so far in this lifetime were meant to be learned so that he might fulfil a higher purpose. Lessons chronicles Scott Magri’s forty-four years on this planet, the lessons he’s learned along the way, and his real purpose for being. His greatest hope is that his story will spark in others a desire to examine their own life in order to discover their own true purpose.

Scott Magri was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, now lives in Pitt Meadows, B.C. His story tells of a life of drugs, crime and physical brutality that began as a bullied youngster. He tells his story in his own words, so don’t expect great prose. He tells of the lessons that he has learned and the impact they have had on him. Now, at 44, and out of that life, he is looking forward to a purposeful future and hopes others will read what can happen in this crazy world that is called ‘life’. Scott says “When I made the decision to write this book, I was going to dig down deep and tell every single thing in hopes that it would help other people,” says Magri.

“If I told only half of it, it wouldn’t do what it’s supposed to do.”

Magri decided to start writing after his third suicide attempt.

“I felt my body was somewhere else. There was a message there,” he says.

Magri bought a computer and began typing the next day.

As soon as he started writing, he got chills and goosebumps. It was the start of his catharsis.

Magri soon used began using words as a way to deal with his demons brought on by years of drug abuse, criminal activity, broken relationships and aggression.

Scott now works with the police in helping kids prevent living a life or crime drugs and fear, he is an exemplary example of how life can be turned around when we decide to embrace our true value and not feed the fear hate or greed. He is open honest and in action to live a life of truth and purpose and helps others to leave crime behind. He is in resurrecting an old sanctuary called the Katzie Slough so that others may find peace and harmony in a sacred spot.

Man sentenced for sexual assault of Pitt Meadows child, 37 years later

Sat, Mar 12: He was sexually assaulted by a neighbour 40 years ago. When he finally told police what happened, the man who molested him was arrested and pleaded guilty. Now, there’s a worry more victims may be out there. Jill Bennett reports.

Dying, we are all going to do it at some time so we may as well know what to expect and go in enlightenment.

I wish to share with you the listener attorney and afterlife expert Roberta Grimes who illuminates what for some can be a difficult topic, but one that we must increasingly face as the boomer population ages. For those who worry about dying or losing a loved one, or those who fret about the death of a pet, Roberta brings her passion for the subject and 40 years of scholarly in-depth study to deliver concrete answers to all your questions.

After two “experiences of light” in childhood, Roberta was determined to understanding the afterlife. She spent decades studying nearly 200 years of abundant and consistent communications from those who have died. As a result of this disciplined research and her study of quantum physics and consciousness evidence, she can delineate with clarity what comes next. In doing so, she removes the elements of darkness and superstition that once permeated this topic and brings us a comprehensive understanding of death that is uplifting and even joyful.

What are the kinds of evidence about the afterlife that are available to us? Where is the afterlife and how does it work? How is it that quantum physics is related to the physics of the afterlife? Why is it that we have little or no awareness of the awareness of the afterlife? How does death happen, and how does it “feel”?

There are so many questions and who can answer then but the dead who come back and the dead who communicate with us.

Heaven, Hell, God, we all want to know and here in this interview we will discover some enlightening events that have answered so many of these questions.

Roberta Grimes is a business attorney, novelist and speaker based in Austin, Texas, who had two extraordinary experiences of light as a child. In an attempt to understand her experiences, she has spent decades studying nearly 200 years of abundant and consistent communications from the dead and other afterlife-related evidence that eventually enabled her to assemble an in-depth understanding of who and what we are, how reality works, the nature of God, and the meaning and purpose of our lives.

Roberta has learned so much about the death process and the period immediately following death that in 2010 she published a brief summary of the best information called The Fun of Dying – Find Out What Really Happens Next. Her second book about the afterlife, The Fun of Staying in Touch, will document the many ways in which the dead contact us, and the wonderful recent research that is making it easier for us to contact them.
