There are a lot of reasons to eat more plants and a lot of misconceptions about what that means. What we’re trying to do at Plant Based on a Budget is to show how affordable, easy, and delicious eating a plant-based diet can be, how you don’t have to shop at specialty grocery stores or restock your pantry with all kinds of unfamiliar products and substitutes, and, most of all, how you don’t have to sacrifice time, taste, or money in the pursuit of healthier, tastier eating.Though all of our recipes are plant-based, we’re not advocating a political agenda, and we’re not making a list of Things You Shouldn’t Eat. We’re just a bunch of people who love food and cooking and want to share some of the recipes and tips we’ve learned along the way.More than anything, we think that everyone should be able to cook delicious, healthy food without spending a fortune. That’s the goal of our site: plant based, on a budget.

Why Do Some Crimes GetTonsof Media Attention While Some Get No Coverage At All?
A chilling look at human nature in a context where the lines between right and wrong become sadly blurred. It’s a compelling account of one woman’s life, and what drove her to take the life of her six-year-old son. How everyday choices shape our perceptions, justifications, and actions. One must consider how close to the edge we all are. It’s a true story told in layman’s terms, with the hope of preventing another tragic loss.
My backstory is, I spent forty years inside the cockpits of corporate jets and airlines and because of my flying career, I believe I acquired a unique perspective on life. I was fortunate in 1992 to fly Ridley Scott on a location scout in the Caribbean islands. We talked about writing and building an image with the words. He was an awesome mentor to a new author. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts. I have been involved in feature films in Hollywood and Indie films in Phoenix. I’ve done voice-over radio commercials, and stand-up comedy. I’m a proud male member of the oldest women’s writers club––the Phoenix Writer’s Club, and a member of the International Thriller Writer’s. Bestselling authors Clive Cussler and Tim Dorsey endorsed my “Stealing Atlanta.” My five Jake Roberts Novels are Readers’ Favourite Five Stars in crime fiction and psychological thrillers.

Were men joined in a “brotherhood,” like matrimony, by the Orthodox Church?
“Fearless in dealing with sensitive subjects, its pastoral conclusions are insightful and helpful for discussion of the subject within all Christian churches, not just Orthodox Christianity… Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down,” writes Wendy Mayer of the Centre for Early Christian Studies (Australian Catholic University) one of the world’s leading authorities on John Chrysostom and co-author of John Chrysostom: The Cult of Saints and The Homilies of John Chrysostom — Provenance. Reshaping the Foundations.
She goes on to say, “Fearlessly and unprejudiciously delves into not just historical approaches to homosexuality, but a much wider range of sexual relations and unions within the Orthodox Christian past… engages the topic with objectivity, courage and grace; a timely book in light of the current debate about marriage equality.
“I found the book refreshing and courageous. It puts the status of homosexuality within the Byzantine tradition carefully in context. The suggestion that John Chrysostom’s stance was the result of personal experience of sexual abuse is novel and insightful. A sound piece of historical writing.”

Children grow up hearing make a wish, keep it secret – wrong! – the secret is to shout it out!
Based on author’s amazing true-life story. Finally available for the first time in the U.S., The List: Shout Your Dreams Out Loud To Make Them Come True By Yuval Abramovitz is a unique book full of practical advice and inspiration that will help you achieve your goals. Already an international bestseller, the book began as a blog post written when the author was a teenager unable to walk, listing 10 things Abramovitz wanted to accomplish in 400 days. He posted the list on his blog and asked for help—and within 24 hours was overwhelmed by responses. Refreshingly honest, fast-paced, and full of humour, the key idea is as simple as it is powerful—let others know about your dreams and they will help you achieve them.

“When we see a falling star, we make a secret wish. When an eyelash falls out, we make a secret wish. Even on our birthday, our happiest day, we blow out the candles and make a secret wish. Why secret? Who actually hears our wish if it whispers only inside our heart? Why shouldn’t we ask out loud, in the presence of those surrounding us, for our dreams and wishes to come true? Let others know about your dreams and they will help you achieve them.” – Yuval Abramovitz
Why do some people succeed where others fail? What makes some push past their financial hardships while others lag behind? What is holding you back? Abramovitz provides thought-provoking true stories, tips, insights, and techniques including details on how to finance dreams, move past roadblocks, ask and receive help, and reach even the loftiest of goals.
Filled with exercises and prompts, The List helps make dreams a reality. The author’s journey—from writing his first list in a wheelchair to becoming a well-known author, cultural reporter, actor, and media personality—and the stories of people around the world using his method to achieve success prove that this is a motivational book that truly works.
The book is based on Abramovitz’ true-life story. At 16-years-old, a work accident left him paralyzed, but he amazingly recovered within one year, returning to full physical capacity in contrast to the predictions of his doctors, who’d told him he’d never walk again. During the long recovery process, he began to make lists of all the things he wanted to accomplish in life. Abramovitz believes it is because of his lists that he stood up just days after his injury and he has been writing ever since.
The List is practical, not spiritual, although it does contain some spiritual elements. While it has often been compared to The Secret, a book for self-fulfilment that speaks about positive thinking and imagining a life of abundance, The List is the next step – encouraging action on thought and providing the instruction for making dreams come true.
The blog turned into a successful and sought-after lecturer, heard by over a quarter of a million people to date. The lecture then turned into a book that soon became a bestseller. The List is translated into French, Dutch and Chinese and published in more than 15 countries.
Yuval Abramovitz, 40, is a journalist for Israel Today, one of Israel’s leading newspapers, where he interviews celebrities and personalities from around the world including Leonardo DeCaprio, Bruce Willis, Woody Allen and many more. He is the author of eight best-selling books (three fiction and five from The List series, of which two are children’s). He is also an actor appearing in theatre and on several successful television series in more than 600 episodes. He hosts a radio show, owns a gift shop, and has delivered more than 450 lectures internationally, including TEDx, as a motivational speaker on the topic of making dreams come true. He tours the U.S. every three months, speaking to business, community and cultural groups. He has two daughters and lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
