C16/10a “Recognitions” Have we done it before? -Daniela Norris

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Daniela Norris aired from March 8th

maxresdefault

We all fear death – this is a fact of life. Nobody, give or take some people with special circumstances, wants to die. And no one wants to lose a loved one although chances are that all of us will, sooner or later.

When I embarked on my journey I was not completely adverse to spirituality, but as a former diplomat, turned political writer, I was certainly not one of those spiritual types. And although I considered myself an atheist, I also agreed that there just, very possibly, might be ‘something out there’, something bigger than us all. But I did not have the time or interest to delve into religion or other spiritual practices. I was simply too busy living, working, raising a young family.

When we lost my healthy, fit and handsome twenty-year-old brother in a drowning accident in 2010, I was in a state of shock and deep grief, like anyone in a similar situation would be. But as the weeks and months passed, I embarked on a spiritual journey, trying to understand death, bereavement – and life. I read books, attended seminars and talks, grief counseling sessions and even a few sessions of hypnotherapy, and more specifically – Past Life Regression. I was curious and thought: why not, I’ve got nothing to lose.

There’s one funny thing about dead people, and that’s that you can talk to them all you want, and they can’t talk back. Or can they? Ask anyone who’s lost a loved one, and many will tell you that the dead can actually talk back. Whether in a dream, a whisper in the wind or your imagination, our dead friends and relatives are always there with us, even years after they’ve passed on.

It’s a bit like having a Twitter account – small messages keep popping up, perhaps you are sometimes mentioned or even followed – but if you don’t check your account, you will not notice.

If you had lost someone you love, even if it was many years ago, try a small experiment: open your eyes, your ears and your thoughts to the little messages from the Other Side. And who knows, you might have a pleasant surprise. You might get some virtual tweets from the afterlife.

jhp5595630129dd0-220x330Amelia Rothman, a foreign-rights editor from New York, has a turbulent personal life. She juggles a divorce and two teenage kids, and decides to seek hypnotherapy to help her deal with insomnia and anxieties. But when during the session an unexpected event emerges, she tries to understand how it is relevant to her current life and why it suddenly triggers a series of synchronicities that take her on an unexpected personal journey to the depth of her subconscious.

At once a spiritual and psychological novel, Recognitions explores the concepts of past lives, recognition of people and their roles in our present lives and life lessons.
Recognitions is the first of a trilogy.

C16/02 Love Incorporated & Universal Quantum Touch

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and guest Jennifer Noel Taylor on air from January 12th.

Love Incorporated is a guide for anyone that feels stuck in a mundane job that has little meaning.

If your life feels more like a treadmill than an expression of your passionate heart-centered calling, Love Incorporated will help you tune into what your Heart is *really* telling you.

And what happens *after * you jump off the treadmill to pursue your true calling… Do you still find it difficult to make ends meet? Love Incorporated will help you overcome the *unique* challenges involved in creating a life doing what you love.

In the book, Jennifer describes how she discovered her life mission and took a *Leap of Faith*. She quit her high paying job as a Software Developer and and pursued her true calling. She thought she had displayed such great courage to follow her Heart, so she was surprised to discover that things did not flow very well! She was not prepared for the sheer amount of challenges involved in trying to turn her true passion into a business!

After quitting my job and following my passion, I thought I would be rewarded with instant success.

Boy was I wrong!

Through many setbacks and “learning experiences” (i.e. mistakes) she made some discoveries about how to actually be *successful *doing what you love. Years of study, trial and error, self reflection, and working with mentors, kept leading her back to the same place…

Everything she discovered can be summarized by the Four Key Insights that make up this book.

These insights are a guide to creating a business (and life) doing what you love! You don’t need to sacrifice your passion, Spirit or Integrity to have an abundant business. And in fact, doing what you love is actually instrumental in creating success!

May this book inspire you to follow your Heart and live your true calling!

Jennifer Noel Taylor

jennifer-noel-taylorJennifer graduated from Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo, CA) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Philosophy.  After graduation, she started her first job as a Software Engineer at a big company in San Diego.

Like so many people, she felt incredibly trapped and depressed at a job that paid the bills but didn’t speak to her passion in life.   I constantly suffered from “a case of the Mondays,” this weighty sense of foreboding at the beginning of each work week.

Even though she was incredibly bored at her day job, she started pursuing her true passion at night: massage school!  She studied massage at the International Professional School of Bodywork, Esalen Institute in Big Sur, and the Maui Academy of Healing Arts.

While working on people, she started to feel the “energy fields” emanating from people.  She became fascinated by energy healing and studied various energy healing modalities including Reiki.

She met Richard Gordon, the founder of Quantum-Touch, at his lecture on Maui.  She fell in love with the vision of Quantum-Touch and received a very clear message from the Universe that Quantum-Touch was her true calling.  Shortly after she met Richard, she quit her job and took a Leap of Faith.  She finally followed her Heart.  She took over as CEO of Quantum-Touch in June 2002.

Quantum-Touch has grown from a small United States company to an international Corporation with a community of over 50,000 people.

When you are following your Heart, doors will open almost magically.

She has dedicated her life work to helping people discover the healing power of their Love.  She strives to integrate spirituality and business by implementing business practices that include spiritually rewarding jobs, loving spiritual service to the world, environmental responsibility, and financial abundance.

Quantum-Touch has grown from a small United States company to an international Corporation with a community of over 50,000 people.

Imagine

If more people did what they love, how much more joyful the world would be.

C15/44b The Social Movement & The Power of Peace

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Kaare Long aired from November 3rd on.

Named after a famous Viking Warrior I had a lot to live up to.

80da60ce48d12a3392b8d374385fa483I think I’ve done pretty good, and lived up to the tenacity, passion, sardonic humour, boat rocking and deep loyalty that my name engenders.

My life has been pretty hectic, messy, scary and full of incredible moments. These repeated, and so-called ‘failures’ I’ve experienced have culminated in a full life thus far. They’ve informed, crafted and transformed me in some incredibly profound ways. Now that I am in my 40’s – mid-life, and all that – I realize how important all those failures, heartaches, heartbreaks, mistakes, wrong choices, BAAAD choices and everything thing in between have been. A survivor of abuse and heartache everything is a lesson in THRIVAL. All that I have been through has designed the person I am proud to be today – and it’s pretty KICK ASS if I say so myself.

She is the Creative Director of her own Business, a Cue Creative Consulting, an online digital communications agency and the executive director and founder of the Social Movement ‘#sayhitoastranger’ which has become a popular event in the City of Vancouver, B.C. and has recently been nominated for the ‘Power of Peace’ award from the YMCA. Kaare is also a professional performer—musician, actor and vocalist. Creativity is her driving force, along with Community and Connection. She believes that we can do so much more working together than we can in competition to each other. Kaare mentors younger cohorts and believes that sharing what she has learned with vulnerability and authenticity is the best way to have it serve a deeper purpose. “I’ve struggled along the way, but we all do. And if we can understand early in our lives that failure is the most important part of our growing up, then perhaps we might enjoy it a bit more. I’ve made it my mission to share this philosophy and guide and support and empower as many women in business as I can.” ~ Kaare Long

C15/45 BEabove and Know Where You Are

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Ann Betz aired November 10th

At BEabove, we help people understand that the most important thing is not what we DO, but who we ARE.

7Level-Poster-8.5x11Through our Seven Levels of Effectiveness, we provide a road map of human effectiveness which elegantly and clearly shows us not only where we are, but where we want to go to find that new level of thinking so badly needed in today’s world. We undergird this roadmap with current research on neuroscience and psychology, providing an easy to understand comprehensive model of human transformation.

Ann Betz, CPCC, PCC, CNTC, is the co-founder of BEabove Leadership and an international speaker and trainer on the intersection of neuroscience, coaching and human transformation. Ann serves as the neuroscience consultant to The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and provides neuroscience, leadership and coaching consulting to many other corporations and non-profits.

Ann say “I have always been passionately interested in the human spirit, from studying philosophy in college to becoming a coach back in 2001 to developing a powerful model of consciousness with my business partner, Ursula Pottinga (see BEabove Leadership for more on this!)  Lately, these explorations have taken me deep inside the brain through studies in neuroscience.”
