21-40 Falling for Fall

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from October 5th

I love Fall, all the beautiful colours of the trees and the feeling of coziness as we get into out favorite sweater. It is also a time were we buckle down laying out plans and visions for the spring to awaken to. I have a lot of work to do this fall and winter, a book to write, a book to produce, new business scale on my site.

Lots to do that we do do in the colder months because we are in doors more. After this Birthday Month (Oct 6th) my birthday, my sons Oct 24th my Brother Oct 26th daughter wedding anniversary and Thanks Giving too, it is a busy month. I do not anticipating getting much done this month, will do shows and laying the ground work, but November, December, January and February, work work work.

So what it on your agenda for this fall? any plans you want to achieve and or set in motion for harvest in the Spring?

21-39 Thank you Montreal

Saras View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from September 28th

Well after 41 years in Canada I finally went to Montreal. I went with my 88 year old friend Lucette Audrey whose home it was. She wanted to see her city one more time. Seeing the city through her eyes was wonderful, she has a child like enthusiasm that sweeps her along with you flapping after her. Her energy is abundant, but after 30 miles in 3 days she finally was tired.

We were so lucky with the weather, it was warm the entire time, and even hot on some days. We walked and walked seeing all her memories of a life lived there some 60 years ago. Yes we got lost at times, but that was ok, because there was always something to discover.

We did the Big Wheel and saw the city from greater heights. We walked St Catharines street, Rue de Denis , St Laurent where we found many a good restaurant and with the streets being closed of, a lot of entertainment.

It is good to see the wonderful history that is Montreal, the culture and the vibe is very inviting. People are so friendly, and both French and English are spoken there. We went to a concert Rafael, it was wonderful to her such uplifting music again. We walked through McGill university grounds and saw all the student sitting on the grounds studying of chatting with each other.

21-37 A Different Kind of Courage

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from September 14th

The courage I had when I was young was in some way mindless, we believed as a young person does, that we can do anything and nothing will hurt us, we learn through life’s lessons that is not always so. I was such a timed person until I went to South Africa at the age of 14 y. Old. I was desperately shy, but loved one on one conversation (still do). When we arrived in S.A, I was frown into the deep end and had to get social very fast, that is when I discovered my courage.

I had in many ways had to fake it before I convinced myself, but in doing so, I discovered a person I never knew was there. I became and still am an extrovert introvert, an Alfa Beta personality. To others I was this exuberant young woman who tried everything, I did not know if I could do it until I tried to do it, which means I could not do it a lot of the time, but I would not know what I could do unless I tried.

I went into jobs like that, always unqualified, but in belief, I could do it, how would I know unless I tried. I realized my strengths and weakness and learned to focus on my strengths. We sell ourselves short, thinking we can’t when we from the inside out, know we can. It is different from when we were young, we were daring, challenging, excited, and sometimes unthinking. Now as we age we understand that our courage has a different purpose and that we can still be daring but in a more soul heartful way.

I have leaped at many things in life, now I am slower to leap, but that does not mean I am not still adventurous, it just means more discerning. Realistically, my body can not do what it used to, and my spirit may be a bit dulled. I have still within me, much to explore and do, but now it is within my energy and infusiasim.

21-36 Discovering Montreal.

Sara’s View Of Life with Sara Troy, on air from September 7th

I have lived in Canada for 41 years now and have never gone to Montreal, so now is the time. I am going with my wonderful 88 year old friend who is saying good bye to her city of birth. To see it through her eyes will be wonderful, and to get away and just be in the moment and no sows is much needed.

Do we allow ourselves to discover? do we venture out and see even what is in our own neighborhoods? Even though international travel is not ok, see your own country, and learn just how wonderful it really is.

21-34 Letting Optimism Drive

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from August 31st

Letting Optimism Drive, keeping the possibilities alive, and choosing to see things from higher vibrations will always show us the way forward. It is so easy to see everything wrong, but if we change our lenses we can see what is right also. Choosing to be optimistic allows for those positive vibrations to rise up.

From there we see the possibilities and know from our heart and soul what we need to do to make it happen. We can not see clearly in judgment, righteousness, in pain, in fear, or anger, they consume our reasoning. To really have the clarity you have to raise up those vibes and allow that clarity to come from a higher place. Only then can we really see that being optimistic is positive and invites that clear vision of knowingness to come through.

Being optimistic is not being a daydreamer, or having your head in the clouds, it is about choosing to see from a different angle and being open to all possibilities without persecution of judgments. If we seed those optimistic possibilities each and every day, we will bear the fruits of that labor.

So let us embrace this wonderful word, let us see each other from different lenses, let us be open to other points of view, and let us not condemn our friends because they see things differently. Be open be present, be engaged, be heartful, and allow optimism to show you the way to clarity and exuberant possibilities.
