Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from December 12th
Time. We are all living by the same clock, no matter where we are in the world. We each have a lifetime to journey through — and within that, time to give, to share, and to set aside for those who matter. It is time to remember that the greatest gift we can offer is our time.
When you give someone your time, you are giving something you can never get back — and that is what makes it so precious. When you offer your time with love, care, and presence, it becomes the greatest gift of all time.
Time itself is a human construct. In the universe, there is no ticking clock — only unfolding, expansion, movement. Time reveals, propels us forward, and allows us to reflect backward in our memory and consciousness. As linear beings, we often see only the moments ahead. But when we step into deeper awareness, we realize that time is energy, and its value lies in how we use it — in the doingness and the beingness of our lives.
We are humans having a divine experience, and time is the container of that experience. So when we give our time — through presence, care, a listening ear, or a helping hand — we are offering something profoundly unselfish and deeply meaningful.

There is a kinder way to shop — one that keeps our hearts calm and our spirits aligned with what this season truly represents. Be patient with the people helping you in the stores; they are doing their best in the busiest time of the year. Buy thoughtfully, not anxiously. Don’t let stress steal the joy from your giving. Christmas is a season of loving-kindness, of joy and goodwill toward all.
And remember: the most meaningful gifts are those that bring hope. You can make a powerful difference by supporting organizations that uplift others — and by giving in honour of your loved ones. A donation or contribution on behalf of a friend or family member becomes a gift that keeps growing, touching lives far beyond the holiday moment.
Give the gift of hope. Give a gift that matters. Because when we choose generosity from the heart, we spread joy not just to one person — but to the world we all share.
