I have lived in Vancouver for thirty-seven and half years, and I have left that beautiful city to seek a new life. One would think that by now I would be settled and not wanting such an extreme change, but after so long and still with not a feeling of belonging, I am in discovery of what else is out there.

Why Toronto you may ask? Well, I need a city of action, I need some vibrancy, I need an injection of active life. I have been running on either empty or blarrness for so long, my work is my passion my reason to get up each day, but it is not feeding my presence, I am feeding my work but not me,  and I am not feed me outside of work and family.

I have travelled a lot in my life, from the UK to South Africa, to the USA, through Europe, then settled in Canada. I have seen many cultures, met many wonderfully diverse people and done things out of the box in embracement of life. It is time to get that feeling of adventure back, to get some excitement of exploration and self-discovery. I once was a free spirit, a wandering soul, an explorer, then I had children and my life became all about them.

I was a dedicated mother, wife and friend, and even though desperately I was unhappy in my life, not being a Mum, I loved being a Mum, but love was missing in my life outside of my children. I adore and love my children who are all grown up now, I am proud of them and the choices and the journey’s they have taken in life and who they are as human beings today. They are now on their own journeys and do not need Mama anymore, so now, children free, animal free, man free, I am free to pursue life again.

Having not been out there for a while, meeting people in the flesh, (as my company is online radio interviewing people from around the world Self Discovery Radio.com) I have not got out much and was becoming dangerously close the being just a virtual being. Getting to meet new people is exciting but a little intimidating. I am not that young woman I used to be, a little gregarious a lot vibrant. I am now 63 years young who is not in the greatest health and not, as yet, abundant in the pocket, but this does not stop me, for I am very much a vibrant spirit and young at heart.

I have a tale to share, a story of overcoming, of challenges and obstacles. I have had my bumpy roads but chose to find the smoothness of life along the way. The pattern of my life has been my dance, one step forward two steps back. I am a total believer of what can be, of what we can make it. After all, we are the brush on the canvass of our lives.

My next canvass is one of exploration and productive purpose. I am on a mission, I am here for a reason and I intend to achieve what I have set out to do. You see one can not waste any more time, we can’t make any more excuses, if we believe in something we must to step up and make it happen, or what would it be all for.

This journey in my new book of life, is about further developing my radio blog network into an enterprise that serves our global community. I believe in people, in humanity, in just how awesome we can really be. I believe we are being woken up, so we may step it up and change it up for the betterment of mankind and this planet. You see, I think that one person can make a difference, that we undersell ourselves all the time, and that we are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. I know that I have undersold me, I use to believe that you had to have a PHD or be rich or sophisticated to be seen to impress, now I know better. Over the years I have seen more enrichment and wealth wisdom in ordinary people, that I know we have it in us and that titles money and power is an illusion and is not the true wealth of mankind.

The true wealth is in Kindness, caring, investing in people, generating possibilities, creating opportunities, and a community that is united with love and respect for one another is an abundant community. That is what I have discovered about myself, that even as one person I can be that difference that is needed, and I can invite people to be a part of a vision that can and will really exceed even my vision.

7Days

It has only been 7 days since I arrived in Toronto, and even though no home, I feel at home here. Back home living in Vancouver suburbia, I hated walking anywhere once my dog passed. It felt too much like a chore, but here one walks everywhere here and it is invigorating.

Everyone talks about the cold in Toronto, but so far except for some cold winds here and there, it has been quite mind, and yes, I know it will get colder, but, my joints and bones are not hurting from the damp and that feels good, and I am walking with more ease, so maybe this climate agrees with me.

I am less hungry and have more energy, and I know my anxiousness is draining but I am still ok. They say Toronto is expensive, you won’t find a home here, but has anyone looked at Vancouver prices? I know I am stretching it here, my rent will eat 75% of my money, but I was sent here for a reason and I have to believe that I will not only find a home but one that embraces my needs and gives me the loving platform I need to do my work here.

17-47 Clarifying the Words of Participation

Often we do not know what our words really do mean to others, so I decided this week to speak to some clarity of words I am using in my invite to all of these opportunities.

When you say I am looking for collaborators, just what do you mean, we as in the definition here I am looking for like minded people who wish to align our work to enhance production on both fronts. We see a synergy and know that our collaborative efforts will help each other.

I tried at inviting Subscribers, but did not see any results, but will give it another try in the new year with different others. Subscription is great but people are in a niche and do not always see things put of the box.

I Love a Sponsor, because they see the benefits that not only profile their agenda but are in support and celebration of what they are sponsoring. I will be seeking sponsors for our Community program which will be supporting and celebrating those who have need for a focus on their wonderful work and who are an inspiration to all, but need our help to reach more.

Joint Ventures, so many of us are doing great work, but now and again doing a joint venture with someone can really expand ones arena and support both parties in many ways. One has to make sure that both parties can deliver and that their intentions are real and authentic.

Partnerships. Like minded people who see the benefit of working with a party to build a better platform. I am seeking such partners in Toronto and indeed the word, who see this platform and wish to be a part of it to see its growth and benefits to the world and what opportunities it has for them. One has to make sure that their intent is authentic and that they believe in your platform for this to really work.

 Advocates. I love advocates for they are your supporters and audience. Their enthusiasm and sharing gives you the foundation to your platform and also encourages us to keep doing it.

Donators. We are a Donation station, other than a few hosts who pay to be on air with us, we survive on donations. Some times some people are extraordinarily giving, but every cent helps and small of big, keeps a purpose going.

17-45 A New Chapter in a New Book of Life

It is an end of life chapter, indeed a whole book comes to a close and a blank page in a new book begins.

For the last 12 years, my life has been a roller coaster and one of self discovery. I have invested in a new electric motor/generator technology, I have supported someone in the belief of their skills, I support and celebrate people’s journeys and I have discovered that I am capable of doing a lot more than I knew I could.

Back in 2005 I was looking to bring electric bicycles in from Taiwan with my then partner Bill, one day while waiting in a coffee shop for a friend, I ran into another coffee buddy called Bill. ( I know 2 Bills) and I showed him my proposal for the bikes.

It was a letter from our company called Give Back Works, where from every bike sold 10% would be donated to the buyer’s choice of charities from our lists. This really caught the attention of Bill McCracken aka Macquis and started a 12-year long journey.

The bicycles were great and could have been a big industry, BUT AS Bill M pointed out, too costly to bring in and impossible to fix, but instead he offered an alternative motor technology theory and I decided to take that journey into proof of concept and all its possibilities with him.

A journey that was to show me many sides of humanity and many sides of myself. Bill showed me what I could be, also what I was not. 11 years of living together as friends, once lovers, partners even enemies from time to time, we now both take our new paths in respect and value of what we gave each other and with blessings on our new paths.

This journey brought me expansion in what I was capable of, and also my limitations, it brought me love for a while and then loneliness, it had great heights and so many lows, it cost me everything and left me dry, but in the end, lead me down an totally new road of meaningful purpose.

Now as I close the book on that journey and as Bill M moves forward on his, I am stepping out and writing a brand-new book with the content from 5.5 years of self-development and Self Discovery Radio development awareness of my calling.

Little did I know five and half years ago, when I was offered this new direction into radio blogging, that it would give me a new purpose but also save my life. Now with 1900 shows and an abundant Orchard of Wisdom at our fingertips, I am expanding with more with books, programs, funding and more hosts.

To really do this justice and give it the fuel it really needs, I am moving to Toronto for a while so I may meet collaborators and partners that will journey with me in the further development of Self Discovery Community and radio. I have my-self taken it as far as I can do it justices, now it needs new blood and infusion of expertise and passion.

People ask why Toronto, why pack up my home and go to Toronto in the middle of winter what’s is there that is not here in BC Canada? I am going with my divine knowingness, a knowing that Toronto is where I need to be right now and the people I need are there ready to meet me.

Yes, it is a risk, yes I am doing it on no funding, yes I have as yet nowhere to live and yes it could all go south, BUT, it also could be amazing and exceed even my expectations and until I try, one will never know.

November 21st I spread my wings and fly to my new life, I get to spend time with my daughter before she goes to New Zealand and I get to know who I am in this new arena.

17-42 Today I RISE for I am WOMAN

This world needs more feminine energy, we need to RISE up and leave our oppression behind, we need to invite our fellow MAN to set free his feminine energy, Only when we embrace each other can we heal each other, only when we look at each other can see SEE each other, Only when we listen do we HEAR each other, only when we choose to CARE can we be kind to each other.

A softness is befalling us, a gentle approach to life to a NEW way of living, we are seeking a peace that is our vibration of LOVE,  our frequency of TRUTH our meaning of PURPOSE. We need to hold each other, hug each other, care for each other for that is the currency of love, that is the truth of love that is what is love.

Anger begets anger, instead, seek a solution, seek an understanding, be that solution feel that understanding and step into action, for the time of thought alone is over, it is the time of RISING UP into Action with love kindness and caring. A time to feel what CAN be, to feel your thoughts from your heart your soul which guides your spirit into action in a knowingness of mind.

WE ARE A HUMAN NATION IN PAIN, WE NEED TO BE A HUMAN NATION IN HEALING. 

Why should you live in pain and sorrow when you CAN live in a joy. Why suffer when you can THRIVE, why hate when you can LOVE, Why stifle yourself when you can set yourself FREE?

We became the problem but we are strong enough to be the SOLUTION, for we are abundant with inner love, inner knowingness, inner strength and we can do ANYTHING we desire to FEED. So FEED the solution and let it grow, let it flow into the rivers of life feeding the seeds of love of joy of peace within our lives.

We are each other’s weakness we are each other’s STRENGTH, be that wind behind someone’s back, go with the good vibrations and turn up your frequency FOR ONLY THEN CAN HEAR LOVING LIFE CALLING YOU.

I know you’re weary I know there is so much pain and sorrow out there, I know it is hard, but it is also beautiful and it is up to us to see the beauty and feed that, not the ugliness.

The world and Universe is shaking it up for us, with weather disasters, our violence towards each other, Politicians and power mongers and with more to come, why? because we need to WAKE UP to the fact that change is imperative and we are the answer to what ails us.

We need to STEP IT UP because it is the only answer, we need to become proactive in our own lives, in our communities, with each other. We need to take responsibility for our choices and actions and ask our self who we are serving, is it our inner self ? is it our community? of is it self serving only? The difference between Importance of Self and Self importance is, is in the ego of insecurity and the other is serving your soul, heart, spirit with an open mind, self serving helps no one else, being full of love and kindness serves everyone.

It is time to CHANGE IT UP for without change we will be no more. This is our cross roads and we have a choice, keep bitching and moaning about it or STep UP and become part of the solution, it is up to us.

Please take heed, they will keep shaking us up until we wake up to step and make the changes needed to serve the WHOLE of earth’s community.
