Raising Our Gifted Children with Sara Troy and her guest Kristina Coderre, on air from November 7th

I started this journey with a passion for teaching other parents, teachers, and caregivers the behaviour approach that saved my son. But over the years, things started to shift inside of me and I started to realize that I was not ok; and I realized that the parents that I was serving were not ok either. We were all expected to hold it all together, guide our families through tough situations, and bottle up our own feelings in order to make it through. We searched for and implemented solutions like a freaking hero but inside we were feeling like a total failure. Now I help dedicated parents take care of themselves by providing solutions we can do WHILE we are parenting and maintaining all of our other responsibilities. We became parents to increase the joy in our lives but so often the overwhelm of parenting leaves no room for joy. I help parents bring joy and fulfillment back into their lives so we can enjoy life NOW and model for our kids what living a happy life looks like.

Kristina Coderre is a proud mom of 2 boys (and step-mom to 2 more!) who is passionate about helping parents shed their Mind BS so they can build a lifestyle that includes joy and fulfillment WHILE tending to the chaotic grind of raising a family. As a Nurtured Heart Approach Advanced Trainer, Kristina has worked with hundreds of parents, teachers, and group home staff who are supporting the most challenging children, and she witnessed first-hand the toll this takes on the caregiver. Drawing on her own transformational self-care journey in raising her special needs child, she is dedicated to creating a clear pathway for caregivers to be able to fill their own cups so they can continue their amazing work without burning out, and model for their kids what living your best life looks like.

Megan Mary is a dreamworker that specializes in the analysis of women’s dreams to promote transformative personal growth and enlightenment. Founder of Women’s Dream Analysis and the Women’s Dream Enlightenment podcast, she is an intuitive, introvert, mystic and writer. After being diagnosed with three chronic illnesses, she experienced a spiritual awakening. She now works with women all over the world offering dream interpretation, transformative journeys and enlightened guidance. She lives in Idaho with her rockstar drummer husband and two cats.

I have spent my career creating meaningful change through digital publishing and marketing. However, after being diagnosed with three different chronic illnesses, including autoimmune, I began reevaluating my life purpose and started to return to the higher guidance hidden in my dreams. I hold a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree in English and have studied psychology, theory, astronomy, religion and philosophy at the collegiate level. I am a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and currently am part of their Dream Study Group and Foundation Series (2023-2024). I also have been featured as an expert source in Parade Magazine and Very Well Mind.

I created and host a podcast called Women’s Dream Enlightenment, a podcast for women, which features deep discussions, dream interpretation and spiritual stories of awakening.

Buddy Thornton and spouse, Sharon, plus their large extended four-generation family have lived in Arizona since the late 1980s. Buddy is a Vietnam-era veteran, earned his BS in Allied Health Sciences (UW-Milwaukee 1984), his MA in Human Services Counseling and Executive Leadership (Liberty University 2014), and is a doctoral candidate pursuing his Human Services doctorate. Buddy has numerous certifications and actively serves on multiple boards in an advisory capacity.

Buddy is the creative mind behind the Slippery Slope series and the author of Book I, Contemporary Society Through the Lens of Applied Ethics, and Book II, Contemporary Society Through the Lens of Applied Morals. Book III, The Optimal Journey to Oneself-Teen and Young Adult Edition, and Book IV, The Optimal Journey to Oneself-Parent-Teacher-Caregiver Edition continue the series.

 William Stevenson, who will talk about how a project created for his grandson turned into the imaginative and historical educational series, Ricky’s Dream Trip. I can send additional copies of the book for listener giveaway. 

In the series, “PopPop” travels with grandson Ricky around the world and throughout time, discovering Ancient China, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome and Colonial America. They also blast off into outer space and dive under the sea.
