YH24-05. Dr. Laura Graye and Medigraytion

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Dr. Laura Graye, M.S., C.E.M. on air from January 30th

Dr. Laura Graye is a cutting-edge innovator and researcher in the burgeoning field of vibrational medicine. Her gentle heart and boundless energy guides clients from life-limiting beliefs and experiences to a healthier and more purposeful sense of being by utilizing her powerful intuitive capabilities, her knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and neuropsychology, and her comprehension of the quantum human experience. Laura has created hundreds of Medigraytions for her own conditions and those of her clients. She understands that to bridge the power of the subtle energy of consciousness to our physicality, we can use the brain’s ability to reorganize and recreate itself by forming new neural connections.

Laura holds a Master of Science from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, a Doctorate in Natural Medicine, and a Ph.D with a concentration in Quantum Medicine and Consciousness. She also holds a Certificate in Energy Medicine.

History of Medigraytion

These medical meditations, aka “Medigraytions,” have been a long time dream of Dr. Laura Graye. As a freshman in college, Laura found herself with a serious case of obsessive-compulsive disorder. On the umpteenth trip from her car to check the locked door she was sure was still unlocked, Laura knew something was seriously off kilter in her brain. In an attempt to heal herself, she researched the metabolic pathways scientists believed at the time led to OCD. Working to design her own personal medical meditation, Laura studied the pathways created by the chemicals and receptor neurons and how a condition like OCD was created in the body physiologically, emotionally and mentally. Using her own mindful consciousness, Laura knew she could use subtle energy to deconstruct and reconstruct neural pathways in her brain and in the body’s messaging mechanism to the brain, called interoception. Over 30 days of nightly “Medigraytions” during which she meditatively blocked the excess serotonin receptors that were causing her OCD, calmed her neural pathways, and shifted her interoception, she cured herself of OCD. This was in 1986, 20 years before neural plasticity would be proven by science.

YH24-03. Monica Kahio on Asthma and Allergies

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Monica Kahio, on air from January 16th

Over 1 million people in the US  suffer from asthma and allergies, majority of these are children and most triggers are as a result of environmental toxins, pollutions and different types of chemicals found in indoor environment.  People with asthma and allergies are the most overmedicated, misdiagnosed and misunderstood.  These are the number one result of school absenteeism and for emergency hospital visits.  By eliminating the triggers, and fueling the body with whole food nutrition, individuals have been able to enhance their heath, reduce the number of prescribed medications or heal.

I do this is because the above was my story.  I suffered from allergies that turned into allergic asthma, and developed nasal polyps and severe sinuses.  I’ve always followed the naturopathic route but even with that I got worse every single year.  It was not until I discovered the invisible toxins, hidden mold, chemicals, VOCs and more in my home that I realized why I wasn’t improving. I came across some technologies for the home that eliminated what I was breathing and my symptoms completely went away.  I understand the people I serve.  I have walked in their shoes, I know what its like not to be able to take a breath, have a full night’s sleep, and wake up with a tight chest, cough, sneeze and brain fog.

I made it my life mission to help those who suffer the way I did or more.

YH23-48. Adi Sugarman-Maidany on ASEA.

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Adi Sugerman-Maidany, on air from November 28th

My Way is related to my own journey

When I was in my twenties, I endured an operation to remove two disks from my spine, and though the surgery was successful, I was left needing crutches for an extended period of time and had to live with chronic pain. Understandably, I was distraught, often to the point of absolute misery. Nearly twenty-five years later, a friend who had watched my suffering, introduced me to ASEA Redox Molecules and having nothing but pain to lose, I gave it a try. Shortly after this, it was clear to me that my pain was subsiding. Within six weeks, I was able to work in my garden without the agony that such an activity would normally cause. Now, I am pleased to say that I am pain free and feel an overwhelming obligation to share the wonders of Redox with the world. ASEA has truly given my life back to me.

Redox benefits people who are facing challenges related to the cell system.

YH23-47. Douglas Slakey MD, Health Care Improvement

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Douglas Slakey, MD MPH, on air from November 21st.

In The Process Manifesto, author Douglas Slakey, MD MPH, advocates for process improvement that empowers teams to optimize patient care.

Each of us will be both a patient and caregiver at some point in our lives. We all want a healthcare system that supports everyone.  In The Process Manifesto, Dr. Doug Slakey guides caregivers, patients, and healthcare organizations to obtain the best clinical outcomes with respect and compassion.

Despite remarkable medical advances, knowledge, and training, patient care remains fragmented, frustrating, and expensive, especially from the patient’s perspective.  Solutions for caregivers, especially those on the frontlines, remain elusive.  This book helps to demystify the complex reality of our healthcare system. It provides the tools to empower people and teams to provide the most effective, safe, and reliable care.

YH23-39. Jeff Dawson is Honoring the Dying and the Dead

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Jeff Dawson, on air from September 25th

Being a caregiver for someone you love who is dying is a profound and emotionally challenging experience. It involves not only physical care but also a deep emotional and spiritual connection. Here, we’ll explore the gifts of memories, perceptions, and the connections of the soul and spirit when crossing over from those who are dying and the deceased.

  1. Memories and Shared Moments: As a caregiver, you have the unique opportunity to create and cherish lasting memories with your loved one. These memories become treasures that you can hold onto long after they have passed. The simple act of being present, listening, and sharing stories can bring comfort and joy to both you and the person you’re caring for.
  2. Perceptions of Life’s Meaning: When someone is nearing the end of their life, they often reflect on the meaning and purpose of their existence. As a caregiver, you can engage in deep conversations that allow your loved one to explore their life’s journey, accomplishments, regrets, and hopes. These discussions can bring clarity and a sense of closure.
  3. Spiritual Connections: Many people find solace in spirituality when facing the end of life. Caregivers can provide support by facilitating spiritual practices, whether through prayer, meditation, or connecting with religious or philosophical beliefs. This can help your loved one find peace and transcendence in their final days.
  4. Soulful Bond: Caregiving is an act of love that transcends the physical realm. The bond you share with your loved one deepens as you accompany them on their journey. You become witnesses to their vulnerability, strength, and courage. This soulful connection can bring immense comfort and reassurance to both you and your loved one.
  5. Crossing Over and Legacy: As your loved one approaches the end of life, there may be moments of transition and crossing over. These can be deeply spiritual experiences filled with profound insights and connections to the unknown. Caregivers often report feeling the presence of their loved ones even after they have passed, suggesting a continuation of the soul’s journey.
  6. Grief and Healing: After your loved one has passed away, the memories, perceptions, and spiritual connections you shared can be a source of healing. While grief is a natural part of the process, these gifts can provide solace and help you navigate the complex emotions that accompany loss.

Being a caregiver during the end-of-life journey is both a challenging and rewarding experience. It allows you to give the gift of love, compassion, and companionship to someone you care deeply about. The memories, perceptions, and spiritual connections forged during this time are precious and enduring, providing comfort and support as you and your loved one navigate the profound transition from life to whatever lies beyond.

Jeff says “I spent twenty-five years in the wonderful world of road construction. Back surgery in 2010 put the skids on that career. My body couldn’t handle the rigors of twelve to sixteen-hour days, six to seven days a week anymore. As I convalesced, licking my wounds, I wondered what to do next. Not being out in the sun getting baked, or dodging traffic, was going to be a hard act to follow. Seriously, what else did I know? An article in the Dallas Morning News caught my eye. It was about being a professional speaker. Hmm? That sounds interesting. Becoming mobile again, I took a seat in front of a blank monitor, pondering what to write”.

Let’s start with something I know: my life. The first work is titled “God’s Plan: A Glimpse Into One’s Life.” I re-titled it six months later to “Why Did Everything Happen?” This is a look back at the last twenty-five years of my life and how the death of my partner, father and true love affected my life. I was amazed at the revelations.
